Japan-Korea Undersea TunnelHi NihonJoe 日本穣: Regarding your comment on the talk page concerning societal difficulties involved with the proposed tunnel: many western people, even those who have studied some world history, have scant knowledge of the occupation of Korea. Although I knew previously that Japan had occupied Korea during WWII, until I researched this tunnel article I never knew that Korea had been occupied as early as 1910. Thus it was felt necessary during article creation to have some background info on societal relations between the two countries to explain possible delays or cancellation of the project, as most Westerners wouldn't be cognizant of them. May I ask a favour please NihonJoe? Since I don't have access to current information on new developments related to the proposed tunnel, and since there's significantly more information on the same article on the Japanese website, I'd appreciate if you could translate the updated and enhanced material from the Japanese article to the English one. Many thanks if you can help. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Harryzilber (talk • contribs) 20:36, 8 December 2008 (UTC)

The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:08, 27 December 2008 (UTC)

Advice please.Hi 日本穣! Please take a look at this. Some of the comments don't sound calm enough. I'd like to ask for a third person's opinion, but don't know which notice board to go. Please tell me which is the most appropriate? Thank you. Anime and Manga by year category nav templatesHey Joe, I've recently performed a complete rewrite of Template:Anime by decade category header and Template:Manga by decade category header that merges the two together, greatly simplifies much of the coding, and automatically inserts lead text and categories. Have a look at the sandbox and the discussion. 「ダイノガイ千?!」 20:45, 1 January 2009 (UTC)

I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of anime series by episode count. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first! I've worked just a few regarding Japanese Literature but anyways, I would like to rebuild Ise Monogatari's page ( with the corresponding "adjustments" from an English native, of course). Though I haven't an impressive curriculum vitae ( I'm still on my first year of Translation & Interpretation), I may proudly say that I've played an active role on Heike Monogatari's page. Do please reply soon, please. :-) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Brisk 90 (talk • contribs) 12:29, 15 January 2009 (UTC) Another Article WarTOTSE Someone keep changing the article regarding the matter of the ending of totse It's been an official statement from Jeff himself that totsean should move to http://bbs.zoklet.net/index.php (fact) But there's one guy that keep changing it and promoting his site (totse 2) (advertisement) Please solve the problem I'm tired to keep undoing it He force me to register because you ban my IP —Preceding unsigned comment added by Anonymus.file (talk • contribs) 08:54, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
Caspian blue is demanding to add "The ancient Japanese emperors was Korean descendant" to the history of Japan. To the best my knowleg, His insistence is not common sense of the history of Japan. I requested him to present grounds of the insistence. He said "Could you provide diffs that I insisted that "Ancient Japan was being ruled by Korean."? Many scholars claim as such though. I think I restored your blanking of "rulers of Japan seems to be Korean descendants". Anyway, don't worry. I'm preparing something to please for you. Well, here is just for a quick preview." And, he presented a lot of sources. [9] I reviewed this source one by one. His sources were not all "peer-reviewed". [10] I expected the next step of the discussion. However, he did not object. Instead, he said to me "sockpueppter","racist attack","clear harassment". [11] Imperial House of Japan is a Japanese symbol. I think that I should carefully discuss this problem. Can you mediate him? --Pkakita (talk) 11:39, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Mechademia 3 requestSince you're listed in the Reference Library as having this: the TOC claims there's a review of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou in the issue, and it's on the article to-do list to include it. Are you up for digesting it, either into the article itself or as ore in some userspace where I can refine out the useful nuggets? —Quasirandom (talk) 20:59, 21 January 2009 (UTC)
BTW, as an aside, while you're in the vicinity could you verify I've accurately rendered the basic info in Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō#Novel? I cobbled it together by machine translation of the citation and the Amazon listing, so am none too confident of its complete accuracy. —Quasirandom (talk) 03:45, 28 January 2009 (UTC) Anime+MGM guy reduxHe's back, this time from 219.83.106.16 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · filter log · WHOIS · RDNS · RBLs · http · block user · block log). SheshedHello Nihonjoe, I'm a wiki newbie. I watch lots of anime and read lots of manga. It's time to contribute to the literature. Please help me out by pointing me to some small mundane tasks where I can become more comfortable with wiki and the process. For example I hope I've added to this page correctly. I'll check back in a few days. Thank-you for what ever direction you can provide. Eventaully I'll get to the point where I can add my self to the the projects. P.S. I can read kana, and recognize a few kanji.--Sheshed (talk) 00:46, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
