It does not serve the purpose of the article's narrative at that point, which is to chronologically relate the story of his life and his musical career. It's the inscription, yes on the church where he was baptised, but the image doesn't show that church, and the article doesn't say that the inscription mattered to Bach, and it was possibly added only after his death.
