Upcoming inactivity

I'm leaving this message here so that I will be able to link to it on my userpage when the time comes. I'm going to have significantly reduced activity from around May 22nd to June 2nd, possibly extending from June 3rd to the 14th. I will try to check Wikipedia as much as I can through my inactivity, but since I will be leaving the country and then coming home to deal with some personal life stuff, it will likely take several hours to even days to respond to notices. λ NegativeMP1 17:55, 23 April 2024 (UTC)

DYK for Furina (Genshin Impact)

On 26 April 2024, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Furina (Genshin Impact), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the design of Genshin Impact's Furina has elements inspired by classical stories and musicals? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Furina (Genshin Impact). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Furina (Genshin Impact)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

WikiCup 2024 May newsletter

The second round of the 2024 WikiCup ended on 28 April. This round was particularly competitive: each of the 32 contestants who advanced to Round 3 scored at least 141 points. This is the highest number of points required to advance to Round 3 since 2014.

The following scorers in Round 2 all scored more than 500 points:

The full scores for Round 2 can be seen here. So far this year, competitors have gotten 18 featured articles, 22 featured lists, and 186 good articles, 76 in the news credits and at least 200 did you know credits. They have conducted 165 featured article reviews, as well as 399 good article reviews and peer reviews, and have added 21 articles to featured topics and good topics.

Remember that any content promoted after 28 April but before the start of Round 3 can be claimed during Round 3, which starts on 1 May at 00:00 (UTC). Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page. Remember, if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews Needed.

I added reliable sourced and reduced editorial bias. Wikipedia articles should be neutral, so I presented viewpoints fairly. Mary.Perry.Panda (talk) 06:42, 21 May 2024 (UTC)

Yes, Wikipedia is supposed to be neutral, but that applies to writing style and not what the sources contain. An opinion that was concluded by numerous reliable sources is not editorial bias. An example would be "X received generally negative reviews from critics" versus "X is a really bad game." Anything that isn't what reliable sources say can arguably fall under WP:OR. I wrote a message on a talk page explaining this.
The sites that you added are also barely reliable per WP:VALNET, and don't count as significant coverage (articles that go in depth about something are given more weight than a trivial listicle) or towards notability. The way that these articles were added didn't explain much about why they were praised either and the articles don't have much substance to them. λ NegativeMP1 06:57, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
most of the sources in the reception don't go in depth about Chris Redfield as a character. Kotatsu writers simply said: He is boring. no explanation, nothing. It is a useless source. Mary.Perry.Panda (talk) 07:00, 21 May 2024 (UTC)

---> This is not true. Viewpoints should be presented fairly. The editorial bias (reception section) is obvious. Mary.Perry.Panda (talk) 07:04, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
What is written in secondary sources is what gets put on Wikipedia. I've said this already. If sources are mostly negative about a character, that is what's getting put in, not poorly written content farm articles or user generated polls. See WP:RS. λ NegativeMP1 07:08, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
Could I see the source for your claim (what gets put on Wikipedia)? Mary.Perry.Panda (talk) 07:13, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
I just posted it. WP:RS is an official English Wikipedia policy that states in its very opening sentence "Wikipedia articles should be based on reliable, published sources." It even supports that minority views can be included if adequately covered (which these are not). It's evident from what I've said on other talk pages as well as that that you're not paying attention to the advice I'm trying to give, and I will not responding to this any further. λ NegativeMP1 07:19, 21 May 2024 (UTC)
I've already said it. The sources in the reception section are not reliable and they are biased. The reception section needs editing. Mary.Perry.Panda (talk) 07:22, 21 May 2024 (UTC)

List of songs in Fortnite Festival

what policy does it supposedly break? I still haven't been answered about it WrestleLuxury Wiki (talk) 18:30, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

You were infact answered about it in the deletion discussion, where numerous editors brought up WP:GAMECRUFT, which is an extension of WP:GAMEGUIDE: "Wikipedia is an encyclopedic reference, not an instruction manual, guidebook, or textbook. Wikipedia articles should not read like." Unlike other rhythm game song lists, which were more or less DLC lists (and therefore, up to a certain extent acceptable), there is no worthwhile coverage or commentary of Fortnite Festival's track selection. So the list is contrary to the point of Wikipedia. Also, for future reference, stating that our arguments "make no sense" and that I'm "hating on" you when we link appropriate policies that explain what the problem is demonstrates a lack of competence. λ NegativeMP1 18:40, 12 June 2024 (UTC)

Request on 19:45:47, 7 July 2024 for assistance on AfC submission by Rob 0017

Hi there, NegativeMP1. Thank you for the feedback on this. In terms of phrasing: this is why someone (neutral) on Wikipedia had looked at this article - as I am a player of this game - and submitted it on my behalf; yet no changes were made by this person in terms of phrasing. Hence, I assumed it was okay. Now, it turns out it is not. However, I can change sentences, but then I need to know which ones need changing.

Frankly, I do not know how the reception section can be expanded. Wurdian is not Candy Crush with a huge playerbase. It has around 100k registered players and has only had one officially rated review; I cannot change that. It is simply not that popular (yet) and by no means do I intend to advertise it. Pretty baffled that this is denied based on the reception of such a small game. The Wikipedia page of Wordfeud (a similar game) barely has one, yet that page is up. I genuinely do not know what more to add to the reception; unless the game will be reviewed by more organisations. I can link how it is perceived in the Appstore and the Playstore, but I was under the impression that that is a no-go as it would indirectly be an advertisement for those stores. Therefore, I would appreciate how to continue with this article, especially in terms of the reception. Although now I am afraid that it will simply not meet the requirements due to a lack of available sources/rated reviews.

Rob 0017 (talk) 19:45, 7 July 2024 (UTC)

Hi, sorry if my initial comment/rejection reason was a bit vague or harsh. To put it simply, Wikipedia requires that subjects have enough significant coverage from reliable, secondary sources to meet the general notability guidelines. For video games, SIGCOV is generally a decent amount of critic reviews, or long-lasting coverage in other ways, which this game doesn't seem to have a lot of unfortunately and would not be likely to survive a deletion discussion. As for the game you mentioned (Wordfued), many people try make articles for subjects that aren't independently notable, and some of them slip through the cracks. There's a good chance that game is not notable either, but nevertheless "other stuff exists" is generally not a good rationale.
As for the writing, the manual of style/writing guidelines for video games (MOS:VG) generally recommends having one central "Gameplay" section, which should summarize the key points of the gameplay enough for a general reader to understand without going into excessive detail. The draft for Wurdian has three separate sections to explain the gameplay, and it goes into a lot of detail that might not be necessary for an encyclopedic entry (see WP:GAMEGUIDE), and there's some weirdly worded sentences not fit for an enyclopedia (ex. "Any player can create a tournament and then act becomes the host of the tournament"). And for what I would do with the draft for now, I recommend you keep working on it, and maybe if it gains more coverage in the future, it might be notable enough to be moved to mainspace. λ NegativeMP1 21:51, 7 July 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for the quick reply NegativeMP1. With this second comment it has become clearer. I am relatively new to Wikipedia, so these links are welcome information; not everything is that easily findable. For most parts, I simply looked at other pages. I have changed some wording, deleted excess sentences and merged the sections which focussed on gameplay to one section: Gameplay. The sentence you cited above, was a mix of two sentences that I apparently missed whilst reading.
As for the reviews: I assume at least two more (rated) reviews are needed to have a more sound reception? Either way, this will be something for the future, because unfortunately there is only one officially rated review at the moment. Rob 0017 (talk) 14:18, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
One other question: I understand that the "other stuff exists" argument does not work; that was not my intention either. However, does this mean that the English Wordfeud Wikipedia page should not exist in its current form? Or because it has slipped through the cracks, it now is what it is? Rob 0017 (talk) 14:22, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
For the prose quality of the draft, it is definitely looking better. As for the sourcing, three critic reviews is generally the accepted standard for subjects being notable at WP:VG, though it's not policy.
As for Wordfeud, there's a pretty decent chance that someone might nominate it for deletion at a later date, or put in the work to fix up the reception section before that happens. Things that "slip through the cracks" generally do, at one point or another, get caught. λ NegativeMP1 20:02, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for the quick reply again @NegativeMP1 and I greatly appreciate that you state that the prose quality of the draft is better. Well, I will keep the draft and will update it in the future when there are more (rated) reviews available. If you have any other points in the meantime to improve on, please kindly advise me. (There is no rush.) The above information is already very valuable to me, as it helps me learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you for having shared that and also for having taken the time to read the drafts. Rob 0017 (talk) 22:29, 8 July 2024 (UTC)

Answer to Minecraft Topic

Hi, you asked what makes the random YouTube video a reliable source. And you‘re kind of right because it‘s actually random, just searched for German live stream minecraft, but we could take any other as well. So that is the reason why it is random, you‘re totally right. But the fact that it is a reliable source is just a fact since it‘s the best and only way to really proof that many people enjoy watching Minecraft streams and videos in other languages as well. So there are many people chatting live and it is in a different language. What other kind of source do you expect when thinking about proofing that Minecraft vids / livestreams are watched in other languages as well? Basically it is not a YouTuber claiming a fact (which is not very reliable, you are right), but what we wanna proof is just the fact that there are those videos. Thanks! — Preceding unsigned comment added by WikiHelperGG (talkcontribs) 01:16, 25 November 2024 (UTC)

Congrats, and a question

Hey, congrats on your promotion. This is a big accomplishment and well deserved.

I wanted to ask if you could look over the current state of my current large project to see if it's on the right track. This is obviously a bit of a tough one to chew and I know it's not your usual topic area. Compare to the structure of the original article to see what I'm trying to go for. I think the current one is not really up to snuff at all. The model article I'm using is this one, as it's a featured one and similar enough.

Basically I'm wondering if you think it is 1) on it's way to doing well, 2) what sections you think are missing (still not done outlining everything)

Thanks, ForksForks (talk) 20:24, 8 July 2024 (UTC)

As you stated, this is a subject that is well beyond what I have ever written about, or ever will write about. But for feedback I can provide, I find your current rewrite more informative, clear, and better sourced than the one currently in mainspace. This is a very tough topic to chew, but I think so far you're doing a good job. λ NegativeMP1 20:36, 10 July 2024 (UTC)

Regarding Minecraft's composer issue

Why do you not think that Lena Raine, Kumi Tanioka, and Aaron Cherof are not the lead composers for Minecraft for the page List of video game soundtracks considered the best? Their composition takes a significant chunk in Minecraft's OST by the release of Tricky Trials so I have no idea why you'd remove their names when they did have significant work in the Minecraft. -- PanchamBro (talkcontributions) 08:27, 9 July 2024 (UTC)

Hi, I don't list them on List of video game soundtracks considered the best because they are not simply not the lead composers. At the games release, C418 was the only artist featured in the game and remained that way until 2020, and he's still considered the main artist (all but one of the sources used in the list only list C418's work, the other lists both C418 and Raine). Raine has only composed music for the game for about four years, and Tanioka and Cherof have composed music for even less. Additionally, the way they're music has been added to the game is less of "here's all of the music for your game" and more of "here's some extra tracks." Gareth Coker contributed more to the Minecraft soundtrack (at least on console) than all of the extra artists, yet we don't list him for similar reasons. λ NegativeMP1 17:18, 9 July 2024 (UTC)

I am writing this as a first-time editor. I am confused why, after removing speculative sentences (despite having citations), my purely fact-based points have been removed by you. I am not sure if you are the same person who previously removed the text, but I understand if you did regarding the speculation. That part has been removed.

However, your comment included a note that it is rarely appropriate for Wikipedia articles to include player sentiment. I am linking two of the largest competitors to Halo, Battlefield and Call of Duty, below to demonstrate that this is false.

Call of Duty: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_of_Duty:_Modern_Warfare_(2019_video_game).

"Criticism focused on the handling of the campaign's subject matter, including the depiction of the Russian military, as well as balancing issues in the multiplayer."

Battlefield 2042: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battlefield_2042

"The game received mixed reviews from critics and a more negative reception from players for its technical issues, lack of features, and certain changes to the gameplay. The game failed to meet the sales expectations of Electronic Arts."

Both articles mention criticism and not just praise of the games, with Battlefield 2042 specifically mentioning player sentiment.

I would love to understand why these two articles document player sentiment, but Halo is above such criticism. FactCheckerofFactCheckers (talk) 02:00, 30 July 2024 (UTC)

Hi, sorry if my initial revert reason was a bit harsh or confused you. Wikipedia very rarely takes into account fan reception per the user generated content policy, and we go by whatever reliable sources say. So basically, for video games, reliable sources are where we get our reception, and fan reception usually isn't included on its own unless its very, very well documented (ex. a review bomb). Battlefield 2042 is a special case like that, since it was extremely well covered by reliable sources, and MW2019 doesn't fall under that since its purely the opinions of critics. I'm not saying that fan reception for the Halo Infinite article isn't warranted, but to go into that level of detail in the article lead (greater than that of the critics opinions) generally isn't warranted. Note how Battlefield 2042 only goes "the game received mixed reviews from critics and a more negative reception from players" before listing why they didn't like it.
Now, a sub-section of the reception section (similarly to Battlefield 2042) could probably be doable and I'd personally allow it to stay (though I'm not sure what others could think). I did manage to find a few sources that discuss how players reacted to Halo Infinite, such as [1], [2], [3], [4], and [5]. λ NegativeMP1 07:33, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for the reply as well as sharing the links, both of Wiki procedure and Halo articles.
The feedback you shared recommends adding this player sentiment lower on the page; I disagree with this. While I acknowledge Call of Duty does not explicitly list player sentiment in the 'leads' section, Battlefield 2042 does. More specifically, the page includes both critic and player sentiment in the 'leads' section, not below the fold of the page.
Further, while you argue Battlefield is an exception, I am directly challenging your qualifications for deciding which titles are or are not an exception to include player sentiment. Halo and Battlefield 2042 are arguably the largest culprits of negative player backlash in the past few years, with both of us now presenting articles supporting this data.
To your later point, I am aligned with rephrasing the structure of the passage as well as reducing length to match player sentiment in the aforementioned competitors. However, I am not aligned with a) removing player sentiment from the 'leads' section when Battlefield includes it and b) your qualifications to conclude that Battlefield 2042 meets an exception 'threshold' when both of us have now provided articles showcasing strong negative player sentiment and related player statistics.
With regards to reliable sources, I am confused as your shared articles include GameRant, the same reliable source I originally listed when speaking to player sentiment. I have IGN and Polygon articles that also speak to this negative player sentiment.
What are the available next steps? Currently, I see:
- Edit passage in Halo Infinite leads page to align with length and structure of Battlefield 2042's negative player sentiment, with reliable sources cited
- Triage what qualifies as a exception for overwhelmingly negative player sentiment via dispute resolution FactCheckerofFactCheckers (talk) 18:37, 30 July 2024 (UTC)

Why did you revert my edit? (Furina)

I added a note on one of her in game features that you quickly removed, and I'm requesting more explaination than what you included in the edit reversion.

Thanks The Eunie-Cycle (talk) 23:03, 15 August 2024 (UTC)

HI, I reverted the edit because the detail of Furina being able to walk on water isn't sourced anywhere in the article body , and adding that detail would've failed WP:V. I'm sure that somewhere there's a reliable source that says she can walk on water. I'll check for myself when I can. λ NegativeMP1 23:43, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
Is this a reliable source? https://www.eurogamer.net/genshin-impact-furina-ascension-talent-materials-best-build-team-weapon-artifact-constellations-9326
I'm not sure exactly what sources count as reliable or not, but this article does mention that Furina's skill lets her walk on water. The Eunie-Cycle (talk) 23:59, 15 August 2024 (UTC)
Yeah, Eurogamer is a reliable source. As for what sources count as reliable or not, a list of reliable sources for video games can be found at WP:VG/S. λ NegativeMP1 00:03, 16 August 2024 (UTC)

American Idiot singles

If you decide to pursue GA for any other songs from this album, please reach out. I might review them. Wish you luck on September. mftp dan oops 19:16, 16 August 2024 (UTC)

Will do. I plan on pursuing GA for every other song in the album and seeing if there's enough material to make an article for Homecoming, the former of which would allow for the creation of a good topic. On the topic of American Idiot, were you still planning on getting the article to FA? λ NegativeMP1 05:24, 19 August 2024 (UTC)
I've lost a lot of my editing motivation since making that statement due to career changes I've experienced which have left me with less energy to edit, so I may not make it on time with the statement I made regretfully, but it still remains my plan. On the other hand, my involvement with most if not all the notable songs from American Idiot is minimal enough that I could still qualify to review them. At least I think. mftp dan oops 22:56, 21 August 2024 (UTC)
Even if you did have any involvement in the singles, I don't see your name in any of the recent changes over the past few years. It should be fine. I appreciate your offer to review the future GANs, the order I plan on taking it is WMUWSE (at GAN right now), the titular track, Jesus of Suburbia, Holiday, and Boulevard of Broken Dreams. I'm split on whether or not Homecoming is notable, but if it is it'll come in-between the GANs for the titular track and Jesus of Suburbia.
Anyways, I was asking about a possible American Idiot FA in the event there was potential for a featured topic over simply a good topic. λ NegativeMP1 05:49, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
Update: I'm probably a quarter of the way through the rewrite for Boulevard of Broken Dreams (I've already given up on the order I proposed above) and will hopefully be at GAN by mid-October, and Wake Me Up When September Ends is now at FAC. λ NegativeMP1 07:27, 25 September 2024 (UTC)

Hey there, I saw that you recently created a page for "Disenchanted", which is one of my favorite songs off the album! I'm not totally convinced of its notability though: when I proposed "Dead!", it seems like the consensus was that the article was kept because of both coverage in various listicle and certifications. However, while "Disenchanted" certainly has a few spots in rankings, it has no certification to speak of; and because the song isn't the primary subject of any of the article cited (nor that I could find), I don't know if it would survive the AfD process. I thought I'd just pass that information along, especially since I've become very, *very* disillusioned with the whole AfD process. Thanks for your work on the article regardless :) Leafy46 (talk) 21:14, 21 October 2024 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for the compliments regarding the article itself, helps out a lot due to how I'm feeling about my current work right now. As for the notability concern, I definitely agree it has some flimsy coverage, but I think it technically meets the standards of what some modern song articles are built off of, and might even have a stronger case for a standalone article in comparison to "Dead!" (certification aside). I'm not trying to pull the "other stuff exists" card here, but in terms of available content about its role in the narrative of The Black Parade and its composition, I believe "Disenchanted" simply has more to work with. But if it does get sent to AfD or if someone (like you) chooses to merge it into the main Black Parade article, then I don't mind as long as the gist of the article content is properly summarized.
A bit off topic, but I highly dislike the main Black Parade article at present, because of how it fails to describe the contents of the album (including the songs, like "Disenchanted") properly, as well as the lack of a legacy section (to get an idea of an article that does do that, see Master of Puppets or Red). If someone later down the line (or even myself) chose to address that issue and let the article go into detail about what is in the album, then I would fully support a merge of "Cancer", "Dead", and "Disenchanted into the main article as I feel they could be easily summarized in a paragraph. But until then, I think that all three can stay separate. λ NegativeMP1 22:14, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
I'm with you. I don't think that the article for The Black Parade would really stand up to a GAR, but I'm not going to be the one to call it out. I do plan on going through the article's songs at some point, though, similar to your foray through American Idiot --- I already got "Mama" to GA and have "I Don't Love You" on my radar. Leafy46 (talk) 23:09, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
I've honestly kinda put the American Idiot project over to the side for now as I reassess how to handle song articles after Wake Me Up When September Ends' failed FAC; looking into the Black Parade - including making "Disenchanted" - is me working on stuff in the meantime. I wish you luck on IDLY. λ NegativeMP1 23:21, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
Update: I'm gonna give trying to work on the album article a go, and I'm starting to put the sources together. It might not end up being the best rewrite, since this is one of the most important albums of the 2000s and my experience writing on music is fairly limited, but I'm almost certain I can make it at least acceptable as most of the sources are already there. I invite you to help out if you would like to, especially with your work and research on "Mama". λ NegativeMP1 07:58, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
Sorry I missed this, I didn't get a notification about it. I see that you've put up "The Foundations of Decay" for GA, and I wish you the best on that project! Do let me know if you end up going through with saving the album page itself, and I'll help out where I can. Leafy46 (talk) 04:41, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
Thanks! I'll let you know when I start doing stuff for the album page itself, it'll probably during winter break or when I get some more life stuff under control. I'm also still trying to find decent sourcing regarding some of the songs in the album for when I do write the page (I'm not sure why I'm surprised there is practically zero high quality sourcing for songs like Blood or House of Wolves). λ NegativeMP1 06:09, 28 November 2024 (UTC)

The 2024 WikiCup has come to an end, with the final round being a very tight race. Our new champion is AirshipJungleman29 (submissions), who scored 2,283 points mainly through 3 high-multiplier FAs and 3 GAs on military history topics. By a 1% margin, Airship beat out last year's champion, Delaware BeanieFan11 (submissions), who scored second with 2,264 points, mainly from an impressive 58 GAs about athletes. In third place, Generalissima (submissions) scored 1,528 points, primarily from two FAs on U.S. Librarians of Congress and 20 GAs about various historical topics. Our other finalists are: Sammi Brie (submissions) with 879 points, Canada Hey man im josh (submissions) with 533 points, BennyOnTheLoose (submissions) with 432 points, Arconning (submissions) with 244 points, and Christmas Island AryKun (submissions) with 15 points. Congratulations to our finalists and all who participated!

The final round was very productive, and contestants had 7 FAs, 9 FLs, 94 GAs, 73 FAC reviews, and 79 GAN reviews and peer reviews. Altogether, Wikipedia has benefited greatly from the activities of WikiCup competitors all through the contest. Well done everyone!

Raiden (Metal Gear Solid Character) Trivia

Is there a reason you undid the trivia about Raiden being mentioned in Metal Gear Solid (Game Boy Color game)/Metal Gear Solid: Ghost Babel? Not while appearing visually (directly, it's implied you're playing as him playing as Solid Snake in a simulation), he is mentioned (as "Jack") at the end of the game. While non-canon to the mainline series, other "non-canon" games are mentioned in the article as well, and it seems like we ought to include this piece of trivia as well 172.92.211.106 (talk) 16:33, 4 November 2024 (UTC)

Because it's irrelevant fan trivia that isn't included in any reliable sources. There's been discussions about it in the past. λ NegativeMP1 18:24, 4 November 2024 (UTC)
It's literally the ending text of the game, you can verify it by looking up the game. I linked that page since it seemed like a citation was needed, and it felt weird to link a longplay or something on Youtube 172.92.211.106 (talk) 19:29, 4 November 2024 (UTC)

My modification reverted

Hello @NegativeMP1, you removed the image that I added, why? Does it correspond to the content of the article and the passage where it was placed?18:38, 8 November 2024 (UTC) SparklingBlueMoon (talk) 18:38, 8 November 2024 (UTC)

No it doesn't. There is no fair use rationale for why the FNAF movie article needs an image of Chica, and it seems that you only added the image to try and prevent the image from getting deleted for being unused non-free media. Non-free media being used for illustrative purposes only is not acceptable, it must make a strong case for it's inclusion in accordance with WP:NFCC. λ NegativeMP1 19:41, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
It seems that you tried to add the image to the series article. Once again, you need a proper rationale as to why the articles should have that image. Non-free images being used only in a decorative sense is not acceptable. You need to demonstrate how the image significantly improves reader understanding of the topics at hand, and sourcing that demonstrates why that aspect is important. λ NegativeMP1 19:45, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
@NegativeMP1 The purpose of the image is to show the different aspect of Chica between the game and the movie, plus it allows those who do not know the franchise to know which character we are talking about, it allows a visual identification, so I do not know if it is ok. I actually put the image in another article because I thought it had been placed in a bad context. SparklingBlueMoon (talk) 19:56, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
But there's no actual discussion about Chica in particular, or the differences between the animatronics and the games. And even then, that's a flawed reason as the image is only of Chica in the movie, when a comparison image would've typically had two combined images. Returning to the discussion on the characters but, I've done a lot of research on the FNAF series in terms of reliable sources, and I can safely say that Chica is practically irrelevant from a critic standpoint. λ NegativeMP1 20:02, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
Thank you for your reply @NegativeMP1, I apologize for my mistakes, in view of what you have just explained to me I will let you delete the image since it is ultimately of no interest. SparklingBlueMoon (talk) 20:06, 8 November 2024 (UTC)
