Re: Roberto Baggio / 'ballon'Apologies for that one. I've asked for that erroneous fix to be removed from the list at Wikipedia:AutoWikiBrowser/Typos —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Rjwilmsi (talk • contribs) 19:42, 26 March 2007 (UTC).
Apology from VentifaxI'm sorry for wigging out on you yesterday. I was being an ass. Thanks for the additional info you've given me on how Wikipedia works. I really had no idea that Nadia Turner had previously been deleted, & it still seems incredibly arbitrary to delete that one contestant page. That's why I flipped out. Now, I'm thinking pretty seriously about the larger issues here. It does seem odd the degree to which people use this as a general fansite for whatever is current. Ventifax 23:05, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
MuchnessHello I have noticed that your user name is unique and that is a name you don't see often. But what does Muchness stand for anyway? King Lopez Contribs 08:27, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

Perhaps i thought too highly of youI thoght we got it all cleared up that i was never any puppetmaster months ago, which then led me to think we were friends on this website. We both edited in the same forums to make it better, i understand my past on the site is what killed me, but for you to stab me in the back... I would have thought that after you recognized me you would have stayed loyal and at least not given me a vote at all, but instead you gave me an "oppose" with plenty of clarification. I understand its your job, but i still would have thought you would ahve remained loyal, i guess i was wrong. My best wishes to you non the less. Teniii 9:10, 7 May 2007 (UTC) Or maybe i thought too highly of myself...i apologise and just wanted to say u won't see mee anymore on wikipedia. If i ever want to be an administrator i will have to make a new account and start off fresh. hehe. Unless of course i somehow make a miraculous comeback and get nominated which will never happen, but if it did, then maybe i would re-think things. hahaha, seeya around man. HiThanks for the warnings. I'm sorry I wasn't that careful about uploading images. I won't do it again. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Number1spygirl (talk • contribs) 14:35, 10 May 2007 (UTC) (UTC)
Sorry about that copy/paste thing with "Mal".Completely missed the "move" button up there. Good luck with things. Kennard2 09:06, 13 May 2007 (UTC)
hologram pageGot your message about the holograms page, if you want my references, I looked up the books I used again in the library catalogue, here they are:
Hariharan, P Cambridge ; New York : Cambridge University Press, 1984
Kock, Winston E New York : Dover Publications, 1981
Smith, Howard M. (Howard Michael), 1938- New York : Wiley, [1975]
Kock, Winston Edward My understandings that I added mostly came about from reading "Principles of holography" (EXCELLENT little introductory book!) and the others were mostly for other parts of my assignment however they all contributed to the stuff I added. If specific pages and and specific references are required I can go reborrow the books and find every reference (might take a page in itself!) But if just the particular books are ok, I don't know how book references need to be added, maybe you can add them in for me? Once I've rewritten my additions so that they sound ok (no longer "chatty" or in 2nd person) and gotten a friend to rejig the diagrams so that they look reasonable (or, do you know a wiki person who is good at photoshop?) can I put my addition back in? Do I need to ask the original author of the article before adding content? I have heaps more tucked away in my head to add, if I am allowed to!!! My initial impression is that Wikipedia looks like loads of fun, can share my knowledge with everyone, however there appears to be a gigantic complicated social structure behind it...... i hope my adding of content didn't appear malicious, I promise it was intended completely innocently!! Re:I was experimenting with the template back in the day, and entered a totally random name (and accidentally created the page). I forgot to tag it for speedy deletion, thanks for pointing that out. Aquarius • talk 04:42, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Muchness: Please can you contact meHi, l viewed my website's listing on www.aboutus.com and www.whois.sc. It appears to be listed as a sender of spam? And apparently, it might be a mistake as someone might have used a domain proxy server or some other technological term, but l have no way of finding out as none of the representatives of www.aboutus.com are reachable. I could leave a message by logging in, but my wikipedia login is unrecognised and there is no facility to create an account despite it being said that l could "login / create an account". And l've noticed that all of my wikipedia posts have been deleted. Please can l ask what's going on here as l have only just become aware of this problem. I am definitely not a spammer, and have no desire for any trouble. Please can you tell me what is going on here? You can send me an email at: [email address removed in the interests of spam protection --Muchness 22:13, 18 June 2007 (UTC)] —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bibliobaggins (talk • contribs) 03:08, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
Modifications to 'Nigger' entry in wikipediaHi, Muchness, I posted you some UrLs supporting my proposed text for the word 'Nigger'. I would like to get your feedback ASAP. Incidentally, you may want to check out this site too: http://niggermania.com/ It will probably help you understand why the 'neutral' definition given in Wikipedia is a Eurocentric one. As I mentioned earlier, if this problematic word is to be covered in Wikipedia, it needs to be covered in full detail (warts and all) - and not simply observed through "rose tinted" Eurocentric spectacles. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.130.208.224 (talk • contribs) 05:21, 20 May 2007 (UTC)
confusionHi there I just saw your comment on my page, I have no idea who Robert Bagio is, I think someone else had my IP address!!! That's where the confusion was :-) I have only edited a few pages on bridge and the holography page. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 130.56.65.24 (talk • contribs) 14:27, 29 May 2007 (UTC)
2RRI have reverted the page twice in 24 hours. Take a look the last two included the material from early May (that is work continued). And arbcom has consistently found that tendentious editing is vandalism. And that is what that is. You owe him a real explination. We left the page your way while fateclub came up with his response. jbolden1517Talk 02:55, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
Your first and your second listed articles aren't the same. And you weren't discussing in good faith with Fateclub that was the problem. Nor was your position to simply default, you constantly reverted even after strong objects were raised (and not answered). jbolden1517Talk 03:19, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
tagging of possibly unfree imagesHi Muchness. I was pleasantly surprised to see that you tagged a few photos I uploaded. I'm new to this whole asking for permission and GDFL thing, so although I did get permission I didn't know how to document it. Thanks to the links you provided I've figured it out and sent off the appropriate correspondences to the appropriate people. I think everything is under control, and hopefully all of these photos will be taken care of soon. Thanks for the heads up, and if I miss another step feel free to let me know. thanks for welcome + question on photo copyrightHi Muchness, Thanks for the welcome, which finally resulted in me becomming a member. A question; I've just noticed that a photo has been uploaded with mistaken copyrights. It is the photo of a Slender Antbird currently used here. It was uploaded via the Portuguese section of wiki by the user Caioipiau, where it was claimed it was copyrighted to a Mark Fellint. Unfortunately that is not the case; it was taken by Arthur Grosset, a well-known figure in Brazilian ornithology, and certainly not a person who'd allow his photos to be used for "for any purpose". It can, together with numerous other photos, also be seen on his page here: http://www.arthurgrosset.com/sabirds/slenderantbird.html Anyway, it seems you're up-to-speed on wiki, so I'm just wondering if you'd know what to do about this.Rabo3 03:18, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Shared Computers and Personal MessagesMuchness, Please be aware that some IP addresses relate to shared computers (i.e., library, university, work). I did not edit any article on Steven Gerrard, but work in a university in which shared computers are the norm, so I presume someone else did. I appreciate your diligence in sending a rebuke to the culprit, but please in future consider the possibility of multiple use computers when castigating editors.193.61.176.108 22:53, 24 June 2007 (UTC)

Hi!You'll want to participate in the following discussion: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Incidents#Sockpuppetry_in_AfD Good luck! --172.131.128.25 23:32, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
I have answered your question to me on my own pageBut you are right of course, as it's unfortunelately impossible to fix one owns edit summaries, they are the one thing to really be careful with. Greswik 21:35, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
Thank youThanks for catching and tagging the copyvio images uploaded by User:Mattythewhite. I have deleted them along with some others he took, and I have discussed things with him. Hopefully, he now understands the applicable policies. -- But|seriously|folks 23:57, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

way late answer...Hi. I was away so I did not get your message about the image uploads of Mattythewhite. But I see that Butseriouslyfolks (talk · contribs) has taken care of it all. In any case thanks a lot for making admins aware of such problems. Cheers, Pascal.Tesson 15:04, 23 July 2007 (UTC)
