This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of 2006 FIFA World Cup qualification (AFC – CONCACAF play-off), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://en.academic.ru/dic.nsf/enwiki/1272860. It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article Ahmed Hassan Taleb has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article. If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Jipinghe (talk) 17:55, 7 October 2011 (UTC) Africa(n) Cup of NationsHello Mr Hall of England. While I appreciate your efforts and commitment in fixing the articles related to the Africa Cup of Nations, you are incorrectly renaming and moving competition pages. The Africa Cup of Nations was known as the African Cup of Nations until 2004, emphasis on the n in African. In 2006, it was renamed to the Africa Cup of Nations, without the n. Therefore, the main competition page should be called Africa Cup of Nations, which it is, and the editions from 2006 onwards should also have that name, which they do. However, the older editions of the competition should not be renamed/moved to reflect the new name, which is what you have been doing. They should remain with the old name since that is the official name of the competition. I've already had this discussion on WP:FOOTY, see here. If you disagree please let me know and maybe we can start up a new debate at WP:FOOTY. Thanks. TonyStarks (talk) 05:21, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

Smartyllama (talk) 00:20, 18 June 2012 (UTC) While I acknowledge that you have reigned in some of your excesses in this article, I note that you still post mere fact of qualification, and therefore of invitation (but not definite participation) as equivalent to "appearance", and still post future events in a results section. This is illogical and unhelpful. Your failure to give any meaningful editnotes makes it impossible for others to consider what you might consider to be sufficient reason for such edits, and therefore presents no reason why they should not be reverted. You have also reverted totally ungrammatical mid-sentence capital letters. If you believe there to be a reason for the article to appear as you evidently prefer, please communicate that reason. If not, you have no grounds to complain if it is reverted. I hope you will choose to discuss rather than to editwar without any attempt to build consensus. Kevin McE (talk) 16:06, 19 June 2012 (UTC)

It’s very nice work and enabled me to do the statistics for these mathes (which you will find below your contributions. However, when I was doing my counting, I consistently arrived at one match less for spell 2, and in the end I noticed that there was no match 73 (I think it was). Do you think you could check your listing, as it would also affect my contribution; did you skip no. 73, or was there as match that didn’t end up in the listing. Anyway, it would be nice to have more info on the other teams he’s managed, perhaps full statistics in the end. Attempted explanationHello Mr Hall of England. I note above you've been blocked. I disagree with the manner of the way the block has been punitively handed out, but I'd like to try to explain why I think this has happened. You do a lot of editing in your own user space. Sometimes you add fair use images to your user space while you create good content before moving it to the main part of Wikipedia. Unfortunately, such fair use images cannot be used in user or user talk spaces, and therefore you should not place these kinds of images in your drafts. One way of dealing with this is to "comment them out". If you need more help with this, don't hesitate to contact me. Luckily your block is so short you probably won't even notice it's happened (again reinforcing the fact that it's punitive rather than preventative) so please continue to contribute positively to the Wikipedia. All the best. The Rambling Man (talk) 22:44, 26 January 2013 (UTC)

To be honest, I'm not the one who make Presidents section at the List of heads of state of Kenya... I think Presidents section at other former Commonwealth realms articles should remain as you modeled them. The reason is this - many of the former Commonwealth realm countries had military rule in the past, and if we make Presidents section in all former Realm articles look like the Kenyan one, then we'd have really big differences in the amount of data between the President section and the Military rule section. Without data about elections, etc, the Military rule section would look somehow "impoverished", if you understand me... So, let the List of heads of state of Kenya as it is, and avoid remodeling other lists after it. Cheers! Thank you. DrKiernan (talk) 18:42, 2 January 2014 (UTC) RevertMr Hall, I reverted your Template:Yugoslav Head of State-related edits. DrKiernan has asked you before to not cut and paste in this way: it obliterates the article history and, in this case, makes it seem as if only four edits were made to the template, two of which yours. In addition, your talk page is huge, in part because it seems that you're using it as a kind of WP:SANDBOX. Please make test edits in a subpage (or a sandbox page--click on the link to see how that works); a talk page of 350k or more is a serious burden on the hardware as well as the software of editors who wish to communicate with you. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 19:25, 2 January 2014 (UTC)
You really need to respond to other editorsIf you don't respond at ANI or in some detail here, my feeling is that as Wikipedia is a collaborative effort that often requires coooperation and discussion, and your edits are causing problems you won't discuss, then you really shouldn't be editing. Line of succession in 15 March 1917Emperor Nicholas II of All Russia
Heads of State of IraqThis is a list of the heads of state of Iraq, from the foundation of the Mandate of Iraq in 1920 to the present day. Monarchs (1921–1958)After World War I and the dissolution of the Ottoman Empire, the three provinces (vilayets) of Ottoman Iraq came under the control of the United Kingdom. Under British occupation, the people rebelled and Iraq showed itself a hard land to govern. In order to establish a pro-British client regime, a dynasty of Hashemite kings from Saudi Arabia was established, beginning with Faisal I who was the son of Hussein bin Ali. As a family originating in the Hejaz, the House of Hashim was foreign to Iraq. The British Government appointed them as Iraq's royal family after a rigged plebiscite.[1]
| 12 years, 16 days Presidents (1958–1968)Iraqi Republic (1958–68) Under the 1961 Constitution, the first constitution of the Republic of Iraq, the President replaced the monarch as ceremonial head of state. The State President was elected by Parliament for a seven-year term. In the event of a vacancy the President of the Senate served as Acting State President.

Deleting your talk pagesHi Mr Hall, I'm prepared to delete, per your request, your draft pages marked as talk page archives. I don't think it would be appropriate to delete User talk:Mr Hall of England/Archive 1 and User talk:Mr Hall of England/Archive 2, however, as both contain talk page archival content, which is generally not deleted. However, if you'd like to trim those pages by removing some content, that's fine. In particular, anything you made entirely yourself (i.e., test content) can be removed. You can also remove warnings and notifications, but please don't remove other messages or conversations left by other users. Before I proceed with the requested deletion, I just wanted to confirm that you still wish this to happen (if not, it would be best to move those pages to mark them as sandboxes rather than archives, which I can also help with). --BDD (talk) 17:58, 22 January 2014 (UTC) Yugoslav CabinetFirst Simović 16.4 - 21.8.1941

I see that you had started the page on Dominion of Pakistan. If you have time, can you please look into edits being done in Monarchy of Pakistan, and subsequently any other edits that relate with the subject matter; such as Dominion of Pakistan. The latest complete content removal in the article clearly shows his lack of knowledge on the history of Pakistan; his lack of understanding of what a Dominion is as well as not understanding the responsibilities of a Governor General; the irony. He becomes quite, in his own words, "confrontational", about wanting to label things which he has no knowledge about as "controversial" (or that is from his interpretation nonIslamic) and goes ahead editing history to adjust the way how he makes sense (or rationalizes) his image of what Pakistan is without any reliable source. Ways to improve Muhammed Akbar Khan, Crown Prince of AfghanistanHi, I'm Fiachra10003. Mr Hall of England, thanks for creating Muhammed Akbar Khan, Crown Prince of Afghanistan! I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. HI Mr. Hall - was the boy's name Muhammed Akbar or Muhammad Akbar? I know arabic transliteration into English is fluid at best, but most sources seem to spell it "Muhammad" The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Fiachra10003 (talk) 19:06, 4 March 2015 (UTC) This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Line of succession to the former Ethiopian throne, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://eng.anarchopedia.org/Line_of_succession_to_the_former_Ethiopian_throne. It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues. A tag has been placed on Line of succession to the former Ethiopian throne, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Since you've edited one or more of List of current members of the British Privy Council, British Government frontbench and Official Opposition frontbench in the last six months, I'd like to invite you to a discussion about the use of honorifics in those lists. Green parties coloursWhy do you insist on reverting the colours of the NI and Scottish Green parties to be the same shade as the Green Party of England and Wales? The NI and Scottish parties are completely independent of the England & Wales party, and their separate shades of green are sourced properly from the parties' own design documents. Mr Hall of England (talk) 14:16, 8 November 2016 (UTC) Decline reason: Cringe. Mr Hall of England, you've literally been handed an open goal—as you can tell from the above, given the questionable circumstances of your block there were plenty of admins (including me) willing to give the benefit of the doubt and unblock you, but you've not only given no indication that you intend to stop violating copyrights, you've implied that you intend to continue to do so. To be absolutely clear, you cannot take material from other sources without either permission or attribution, and "other sources" includes other Wikipedia articles, and in doing so you're not "doing a good job", you're generating a large amount of work for the people who have to clean up the mess you leave. When it comes to copyright violation, ignore all rules doesn't apply as this is a legal issue, not a Wikipedia rule, so we not only don't want to allow copyright violation, we can't allow people to edit Wikipedia if we believe there's a high likelihood they're going to violate copyright law. Unless and until you can not only demonstrate that you understand why cut-and-paste moves aren't permitted, but give an undertaking not to do so in future, neither I nor any other admin can even consider unblocking you. ‑ Iridescent 16:36, 8 November 2016 (UTC) If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. OK @DrKay:Mr Hall of England (talk) 22:22, 8 November 2016 (UTC) CommentHello everyone. Firstly, I want to apologize because I was unable to respond earlier, as I was very busy both in private life and with various work on Wikipedia. Secondly, I want to express relief by seeing DrKay's explanation that Mr Hall was banned due to improper cut-and-paste move(s), and not because creating stylistic consistency between articles on which he works. Obviously, many editors here (including myself) tend to make various articles stylistically consistent with each other (due to our own aesthetic preferences), and it would create a total havoc if we start banning people for that reason. Thirdly (and most importantly), I have no desire to dwell into whether Mr Hall did something wrong here or not. I want to say this: as far as I can see, his contribution to Wikipedia is really valuable, he is a very studious editor, I really appreciate his work here (especially on various Commonwealth-related lists; I myself "copy" his style on some lists on which I work), and all my interactions with him have been generally positive so far. Therefore, I must say that it would be a real loss for Wikipedia if he was indeed blocked indefinitely. I am happy to see that his block is lifted now. Finally, he can count on my help in his future work, according to my own abilities and interests. Cheers! --Sundostund (talk) 23:00, 8 November 2016 (UTC) Grammar ArticlesHi @DrKay: I have a couple of items I think should be moved because they are not consistent:

HeadingsAs explained in the manual of style, headings (including table headings) are written in sentence case on wikipedia, not title case. Please stop changing them to title case. DrKay (talk) 17:25, 21 January 2019 (UTC) "Extant barons"Hello Mr Hall. First, a big thank you for your work with the nobility templates, for instance {{Extant Barons of the United Kingdom}}. It was much needed. But please explain to me how a baron – a titleholder, i.e. a person – is extant. A title may be extant, but not a person. A person is either living or dead, but neither extant nor extinct. And it's the baronies – the titles – that are linked in the template, not the barons. Thus the template itself is also misnamed. It should be Extant baronies in the United Kingdom, or possibly Extant baronies in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. NB: the in preposition (as there is no title "Baron of the United Kingdom"). Also, I'd like to remind you of WP:BRD: if you get reverted, you don't revert back, you start a discussion. Regards HandsomeFella (talk) 10:10, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

Robin S. Taylor (talk) 18:59, 9 January 2020 (UTC) Regarding recent revert at List of peerages held by prime ministers of the United KingdomRegarding the change here The reason I originally took section headers out of the table is because it's very poor placement for a variety of reasons. Most obviously, when editing source from these section headers and previewing the change the editor(s) is shown a mess of wikimarkup that doesn't correctly render the table without other markup that exists elsewhere in page. Although experienced editors might know the issue here, for a lot of other editors it's confusing and an unnecessary barrier and to entry when contributing to Wikipedia. On top of this, putting section headers in the middle of tables typically renders them useless as a navigation tool for the mobile Wikipedia app. It doesn't work; they can't be used to navigate the page at all and the contents bar ignores them (at least on Android). As the app is now a common way to access Wikipedia (likely the only way for many people), shutting a large per cent of users out of useful features in this way is bad practice and generally inconsiderate. Another issue is regarding accessibility and how the table is 'read' or interpreted by non-visual devices and programmes (such a screen readers, which is why I linked to MOS:DTT in my original edit). When using tables, it's important that all elements are correctly labelled and are where they are expected to be. This means headers, rows, and columns are appropriately marked, and information within the table itself is where it's expected appear. To give an example of where this has gone especially wrong in some of your contributions on List of peerages created for Speakers of the House of Commons and List of peerages created for Lord Chancellors and Lord Keepers; the row with the text "On 5 February 1811, George Prince of Wales became the Prince Regent" is labelled as a header with the ! tag. Although a visual reader almost certainly will realise this header isn't actually a header, and isn't relevant to rows further down, screen readers often won't pick up the same cues a visual reader would. When making a check for which headers apply for an entry in the table it will use this as a header (e.g. for the data Viscount Canterbury it may identify it is as being under two headers i.e. both "Title" & "On 5 February 1811, George Prince of Wales became the Prince Regent"). This is of course incorrect, and can be a source of frustration. Furthermore, the use of colspan markup as a sort of pseudo-separation method creates other design problems. The table consists of 5 columns, each column is defined and the information within that column should be relevant to the column header. Also consider that each row is an entry on the table. When adding a wide-colspan row element in this way you are in effect adding another entry into the table (or in other words, just another item to a list). E.g. a 5 colspan of "Reign of King George I, 1714–1727" is treated as an entry in the table that is relevant to the scope of each of the five columns (or to say this again, it's just another item on a list). This is kind of an issue with table design in general, although obviously it can create issues for assistive technology. I have looked at the edit history for these pages, obviously you've dedicated a not insignificant amount of time to these changes and I have no doubt that it was done in good faith. However, it has actually done a lot of damage and reduced accessibility. I think you should consider self-reverting a lot the edits you've made, as previous page versions are for the most part more accessible. As a side note, I find the argument that "it should stay there as Lord Chancellors and Speakers have the monarchs." entirely unpersuasive. This is basically the logic of 'two wrongs make a right', which is unjustifiable, two wrongs are just two wrongs. The wrongs in this scenario being improperly formatted articles. I think if desired, the monarchs could be retained with an additional column in the tables (similar to List of prime ministers of the United Kingdom), but the current format is hugely problematic. I apologise if this has come off as moan/lecture, but there are other considerations when article writing than what looks nice or what works for one group of people.
