User talk:MowglinovaFox, goose and bag of beans puzzleI give up, you are the pettiest person I've ever encountered on the internet.... I'm astounded that you really can't get it that someone can have an original thought & it is not valid because it wasn't published in some dusty tome that hasn't been read by anyone for several decades...
that is remarkable.... so by having an original thought, I can't post on Wikipedia!!!!!!! 1. my solution is perfectly valid, of course its made up, as in I thought about it.. it came about whilst watching death in paradise on tv the other night, and i used my logic, but I actually kept it quiet as my kids were trying to also answer the riddle.. my eldest daughter, who is 15, also got the swimming idea within about 10 mins.. 2. I have put more thought into it & the fox can also swim, so the trips are down to one 3. it is a riddle, ok, a riddle.... it will always have a sneaky solution, not a mathematical one. 4. if I can get it corroborated by an external source, will you leave my post there?
What you have added to the article is clever, but it's not a solution to the puzzle as posited (where it's said or implied that that there's no way to take any of the objects across the river except for the farmer taking there by boat). - Mike Rosoft (talk) 20:28, 20 January 2014 (UTC) |
