Your edits to List of tallest buildings and structures in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Hi, Mountainfister2015!

I'm confused by your references to the "Kendall Square Final Report 2013" and related documents. You put page numbers in your edit summary, but not in the article citations, which seems wrong -- am I missing something? Also, I don't think the specific references to height in that report should be trusted. There is confusion between the height of the tallest object on the roof (e.g. the antenna atop Eastgate, the 50-foot Crow's Nest atop Bldg. 54) and the height of the building itself. IMO you are now putting far too much detail in the references (such as nos. 8, 18, 31, and especially 39 & 40). Generally referencing just the page numbers should suffice to direct the reader to such details and to confirm the sourced entry. In regards to the latest revisions (13 MAY 15), do you suggest that I put the specifics from the references into the talk portion of the list? Talk pages are meant for discussions about editing, not as a place to publish information for readers. I suggest leaving the page nos. in the refs. for now, but removing most or all of the other "how-to-find-it" directions, and then working to remove the need for them. That means either finding better sources or undoing some of your own work by removing entries relying on unreliable sources. The need for complex directions arises entirely from the use of highly suspect sources such as the "Kendall Square Final Report 2013". As jhawkinson suggests, that report (among others) is not trustworthy for height information because, for one thing, it fails to distinguish building (architectural) height from overall height. If you look at the List of tallest buildings in Pittsburgh (one of many possible examples) you will observe that it relies almost entirely on Emporis and SkyscraperPage for sourcing. There are 77 refs. currently shown, not a single one with explicit "where to look" directions. Let's ditch the unreliable sources and anything based on them as soon as possible.
