Moocowsrule, the web site Katzen Blut belongs to me. I would like an explination on why you deleted my link.
I saw the movie and read the book. That means I got my info from the same place as Nausicaa.net and Online Ghibli. Those sites are run by fans too! The link has been up there for 3 years. Nobody seemed to have a problem with it.
Did you even bother to look at the site before you deleted the link?Thundercat2 (talk) 06:08, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
About Ultimate Shoujo. That's an old dead link. I forgot to delete the link from my profile. Fixed Now.
Baron and Haru are my fav Ghibli characters. I looked around there wasn't any TCR "specific" sites.
Katzen Blut means Cat's Blood in German. It's the name of the waltz that they dance to.
Track no 18 on the Sound Track CD. Heheh I own that one too. Thundercat2talk07:42, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry! Thought it meant 50 years after InuYasha was imprisoned. Should have read the page to see what it meant. わwaらraうuSmile!01:05, 18 November 2008 (UTC)moocowsrule[reply]
You may go ahead and use anything on my userpage. It says on the bottom of my page, "I agree to release all my contributions into the public domain."
Have fun! -- penubag (talk) 05:11, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Lol I seem to have a lot of those... My page epicly fails though... (in comparison to yours or other established editors... T~T I is a noob) わwaらraうuSmile!05:48, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
XD they have a WikiHow on "How to Use There, Their and They're"??? That's funny. How can you forget how to use There, Their and They're? Lol that reminds me of when I did SO much editing on Japanese-related articles I almost wrote "you" as "yō"... わwaらraうuSmile!05:53, 22 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There is a way to make it so it doesn't look as weird on Wikipedia. You have to put the ASCII between these span tags: <span style="line-height:0.8em;">. I changed the one on the top of your usertalk page. -- penubag (talk) 07:08, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Using <pre/> instead of <span/> also eliminates all the extra whitespace between the bottom row of characters and the bottom of the box. I went ahead and switched the tags out for you. —Dinoguy100019:31, 9 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Request for translation
Hello there, I saw your name under the edits for the Japan article.
There is a location on panoramio that I'm trying to use for some Japanese research but unfortunately I can't read Japanese... Would you mind visiting it and tell me what it says? Thanks in advance! User5802 (talk) 23:15, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know that area, but if you click on the image, it says "Ōishi, Nagasaki". I'd look there if you want to know about that region. I'm not that skilled in writing out rōmaji from kanji, so it would help to ask some users who are native Japanese speakers. You can find them . I'm sure they'd be more skilled in this than me! わwaらraうuSmile!23:50, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I researched "Ōishi, Nagasaki" and it came up with the same results. I believe that photo is of "Ōishi, Nagasaki". It appears to be a lake surrounded by flowers... わwaらraうuSmile!23:54, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't the Loopy Fist technique Rock Lee uses occur during his fight with Kimimaro? This drunken fight takes place both in the manga (Chapter 210) and in the anime (Episode 124), and not during the filler. Thus, this technique does, indeed, occur in both places. Scapler (talk) 15:14, 6 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for checking the manga! If that is the case, then change the article to reflect that (and post why you did so on the article's talk page). It is helpful to have both, since for some unbeknownst reason the manga and anime must have different names for everything... Thanks for finding that information though, keep up the good work! Scapler (talk) 02:54, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Most likely, the series has far too many childish aspects anyway, without VIZ messing with things. Shipuuden is so much better, hope VIZ doesn't screw that up too, there would have to be whole episodes left out for violence if they get their little hands on it. Scapler (talk) 03:01, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If 4Kids got ahold of it, I don't know what would happen. Ninjas would probably be deemed to Japanese for American audiences, and they would be renamed Konoha Special Forces Delta Squad, then they would fight Cobra and save the day... :) Scapler (talk) 03:06, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Are you kidding? They would call it something like the Mirror Eye of Infinite Copying Ability. Kakashi would be renamed Instructor Ken, and Choji would be Fats McKinsey. Anway, I have to log off, so g'night! Scapler (talk) 03:27, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Talk page editing
I know you mean well here[1], but you might want to review Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines#Editing comments. Note the first line "It is not necessary to bring talk pages to publishing standards, so there is no need to correct typing/spelling errors, grammar, etc. It tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting." A lot of editors find it both rude and aggravating to have some go back and fix their spelling errors in talk page comments, even if it is being done just to be helpful. Spelling errors on talk pages are fine. We're human...its one of the few places we get to make errors ;) -- Collectonian (talk·contribs) 05:28, 8 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Viola
Seeing as I just came back from a concert, I would like to sincerely thank you for being a violist. There are not enough of us in the world, señor. Violas of the world tonight (and pianos too, we rock). So, this had nothing to do with anything, but I must spread the viola love! Scapler (talk) 02:01, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, as long as your main instrument is not the violin, its acceptable, cellos are cool too. I just saw the userbox on your page. When I picked an instrument to play, I avoided violin because everyone played it, and the cello and bass because they were to big to carry place. That sort of only left one instrument... Scapler (talk) 02:22, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I see... anyway, how is your night going, (watching Shipuuden on the internet right now, does that make me a bad person for using fansubs?) Scapler (talk) 02:09, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
XD I watch fansubs all the time... But Shippuden kinda died out for me... I'm just gonna watch it when TV Tokyo releases it online... or maybe by VIZ since they do it for free... I'm working on a paper for school now... And it's due tomorrow D: moocowsrule02:14, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I see, well I'm sticking with Naruto to the end...it's just a shame Death Note was so short, it was probably my favorite thing I have ever watched. Well, I have to go too, must study for Statistics exam...and all my other exams which start tomorrow...great way to say "Merry Christmas!" Scapler (talk) 02:17, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
XD it is isn't it? I still read Naruto in the manga, but I sorta stopped with fansubs/scanlations. I has to go work on my paper now BYE! moocowsrule02:19, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Userpage Assessment
Moocowsrule, your opinion is appreciated
Hello Moocowsrule, and first of all, thank you for your time. I am seeking input regarding my userpage. My userpage, and the header for the rest of my pages, reflects my personality, that is to say they are incredibly quirky. While this appeals to me, I would greatly appreciate the opinions of other editors I have interacted with on the site. So, as an editor I have come to respect, I kindly beseech you to place any comments, ideas, or opinions you may have on the subject of my userpage or page navigation header bar on the corresponding talk page. Thank you friend, and cheers! Scapler (talk) 01:24, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
For completely catching me off guard with that message, and making me laugh, I hereby award this pseudo-barnstar for totally PWNING me. ROTFLOL (I can't believe I just used chat speak - twice in a row!) Scapler (talk) 03:44, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You said that it has no references, which was wrong. It had 2, but User:Collectonian removed it and listed it as uncategorized. I don't know why User:Collectonian did that, but I'll revert it back. Remember, it is listed in List of schools in Sarawak, Malaysia. Please tell me what I should add because you said that it wasn't well written. Thanks.
By the way,
Mark Chung (talk) is wishing you a MerryChristmas! This greeting (and season) promotes WikiLove and hopefully this note has made your day a little better. Hey moocows, do you have any suggestions for my signature (especially in regards to the conversion of "dinoguy" to katakana, which I'm not entirely convinced is correct)? 「ディノガイ千?!」05:54, 31 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Happy New Year!
Galib is wishing you a Happy New Year. This card promotes WikiLove and hopefully it has made your day much better. Best Wishes and Happy Editing!
I have noticed that you take an interest in Japanese subjects, and so I was wondering if you could help me and Ink Runner out with this article (J-Pop)? The article was transformed from an incoherent stub into a promising and lengthy piece of artwork by a native Japanese speaker and resident, however it still requires quite a bit of grammatical and styling help. Sorry for the spam, but I do think this would be good for the article. ★Dasani★04:23, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think what we need is just some help with copy editing, at least for now. But yes, do whatever you can. Thanks in advance! ★Dasani★04:39, 18 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ink Runner tried for a bit, but now he's taking a break. Hmm, well, I checked the edit history (not to be rude or anything, even though I probably am) and you're not there? Whatever, it's okay.
Personally, I prefer Runescape if I play anything at all on the computer... otherwise, I get my gaming fix on my Xbox 360 (currently playing through Dead Space for the second time). =) 「ダイノガイ千?!」(Dinoguy1000)17:08, 25 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Why wouldn't I remember you! :DDD Long time no see Moocow! To tell you the truth I haven't been on Wikipedia in long time either. :( But I want to start editing again, there is so much I miss. :) Collectonian did make another account, now she is called User:AnmaFinotera, because some Bambifan vandal idiot kept harassing her. >:( So how you been? :D – J U M PG U R U■ask㋐㋜㋗■00:20, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
