Please help me understand what is the correct way to include information about Andy Votel's Vertigo Mixed[1] album on Linda Hoyle's page. Andy Votel's album uses material by Linda Hoyle. Thanks! Misha Wolf (talk) 11:31, 2 August 2015 (UTC)

Help me!
Please help me understand whether it is legitimate to cite quotations which appear on a Web site if one has no first-hand evidence that those statements were made. I am thinking of some of the statements quoted by Angel Air on their Web page for Linda Hoyle's The Fetch.[1] I managed to locate one of the quotations (the one from Goldmine Magazine) on the Web and have cited it. Is it legitimate to cite the ones I have not found elsewhere on the Web? Thanks! I've since discovered that a number of these statements have been made in emails to Linda Hoyle and/or Mo Foster. I believe that it is legitimate to cite them as such. Misha Wolf (talk) 11:59, 2 August 2015 (UTC)

You did a really good job and I can tell you put a lot of effort into it. There were a few things I changed around like I removed the links to their profiles, took out the books and articles they published, and I had to remove a chunk of the intro because of copyright. Here's an example of kind of how these articles should sort of look (Mikhail Katz, and Shafi Goldwasser). Keep up the great work! Dr vulpes (💬 • 📝) 04:46, 16 October 2022 (UTC)

I am Diannaa and I am a Wikipedia administrator. Prose you find online is almost always copyright, and cannot be copied here; it's against the copyright policy of this website to do so. All prose must be written in your own words. The Wikipedia copyright policy and its application are complex matters, and you should not edit any more until you have taken the time to read and understand our copyright policy. There's a simplified version of our copyright rules at Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright. Further copyright issues will result in you being blocked from editing. — Diannaa (talk) 13:01, 26 May 2023 (UTC)

Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and WP:BLP. Refs are passing mentions. Need real WP:SECONDARY sourcing.Looked at the first two ref blocks and there is nothing these. . I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while. Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. scope_creepTalk 18:14, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
Deletion discussion about Jonathan JacobyHello Misha Wolf, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Jonathan Jacoby, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Jonathan Jacoby. Deletion discussions usually run for seven days and are not votes. Our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top. If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)
