Any reason why no 'Free Neotarf' picture?I've just noticed your Free Carol picture. There may be background problems of which I'm unaware, but from what I read of the Arbcom discussions, I found the banning of Neotarf a great deal harder to understand than the banning of Carol. So is there any reason why you are not showing a 'Free Neotarf' picture on your home page? And any reason why I shouldn't at least think about adding one on my own? I didn't think that this met criteria for speedy deletion, and suggested WP:RFD if it is to be considered. Paul Erik (talk)(contribs) 02:48, 16 January 2015 (UTC) 2014 listDraft done. Numbers are down 18% from last year. Can't say whether that's a trend. Serendipodous 23:53, 21 January 2015 (UTC)

And the kiljoys killed the audio recording. I don't know why; everyone said to keep the original. Still, I suppose this is an abject lesson in why Wikipedia is such a poor meme generator. Weird that they subbed what was apparently a genuine Bhutanese guy for someone who sounds Dutch. Thanks for help on H+KHi there, hope you had a lovely weekend! Just in case you're swamped with pings for various things right now, I wanted to drop you a quick note here to say thank you again for your time in looking at my proposed updates for the Hill+Knowlton article and editing the article. In case you get a moment, I was able to get an image of John Hill released under CC-BY-3.0 and uploaded to Commons, would be great if you could add it to the article. Link is in Talk page messages, here. No worries if you're busy elsewhere, you've already been super helpful! Doomsday asteroidsMilowent, asteroids colliding with Earth are right up my alley. I wrote the wiki article about the Earth-impacting asteroid 2014 AA before even Peter Jenniskens knew about it. I assumed he had already been contacted. Oops. I was still the first to let him know after I had a wiki-page up about it. -- Kheider (talk) 15:52, 21 May 2015 (UTC)
They also tried to re-direct the mother ship because obviously any object that is 6 km in diameter, highly reflective, takes 418 hours to rotate, and has a rare asteroid type has sinister plans for us all. :) -- Kheider (talk) 20:29, 14 June 2015 (UTC) Heh heh"I agree that my language against Boleyn was unnecessarily strong despite the silliness of it, and promise not to repeat that behavior. I also promise to call off all notable and non-notable asteroids I previously had summoned towards Earth at high velocity." I don't care who you are, that's funny. Too often some of us take ourselves too seriously in XfD discussions, and a little humor is always welcome, even if it is occasionally at my expense. Kudos to you, funny man. Potential adminHi, I notice you're on Wikipedia:List of administrator hopefuls. Wikipedia would benefit from more admins. If you have been editing for more than 12 months (preferably 24+ months), and have been editing fairly consistently for the past 6 months (preferably 12+ months) with at least 100 edits a month (this tool will help) - or an explanation for any gaps, and haven't been blocked or topic banned in the past three years - or a good explanation for a recent block or ban, don't have a recent history of edit warring or arguing with other editors, feel you can explain why you wish to be an admin, can demonstrate some understanding of Wikipedia's procedures and processes, or know where to go for guidance, and are confident enough to go through a RfA, please get in touch with me. We can talk about it some more, and if all looks OK, I'll nominate you. SilkTork ✔Tea time 12:19, 31 August 2015 (UTC)
SilkTork, thanks for your follow-up note. I started to prepare a response to your first message and then sat back to consider it further. I think I have a lot going for me, but I'm a bit of an oddball as well.
So should have a few spare minutes, I would appreciate your input and honest opinion into whether it is worthwhile to propose myself for adminship. I don't want to waste anyone's time, including my own or yours, on that endeavor if it doesn't make sense to try. Since doing one takes six hours minimum, I will probably focus on doing next week's when the data come out tomorrow. I have a Reddit gate on my userpage if you need it. Just type in "url:" and then the wikipedia URL, and it should take you to the TIL thread. I say "should", because even then it doesn't always work. A good alternative is to do a custom range time Google search of the two days of the Reddit spike for the article title, and you should find it within a few minutes.
