User talk:Metalworker14Re: Twelve Gauge ValentineHello! I requested userfication of the Twelve Gauge Valentine, and I see you have found the usercopy; I have not moved it to mainspace. I thought it used to have more references in it, but I was mistaken. I took a look around and found several resources which might be helpful to restoring the page, though I am not certain I will do so myself; the band only put out one album, which didn't chart, and the page has already had two AfDs, which means the battle would be uphill (prejudice is against you). I found a band biography on Allmusic, album review, album review, album review, album review, and Alternative Press covering their breakup. That's decent, but it might not be enough to convince the red-tape machine of DRV that the article should be restored. Would you like me to move the page to your userspace, if you are going to do more work on it? Chubbles (talk) 02:27, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
Thank U! You can help out too if u want. Metalworker14 (talk) 3:37, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
March 2015Hi there, I'm Serge, and admin here on Wikipedia. I don't mean to be rude or anything, but do you think maybe it would be a good idea to slow down and learn a little bit more about Wikipedia before making so many articles? I've noticed a lot of your article are being nominated for deletion or redirected. I think you basically just need to start writing article using more third party reliable sources in order to make sure that the topic meets the WP:GNG. I think some of the article you've created, like for instance, Ghost Thief (album), are notable, however, the way you're writing them, makes them appear like they're not. You really should try to have at least 4 to 5 sources present when creating an article. And you really should add a few paragraph's of content in - it's generally frowned upon to create album article's that have nothing but a track listing. Creating a reception section, outline reviews for an album, for instance, is a good way to prove that it's worthy of having its own article.
I don't mean to offend or scare you away, I just don't want your work to be wasted on efforts that just keep getting eliminated. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks.Sergecross73 msg me 13:49, 6 March 2015 (UTC)

You have been reported at WP:AIV once again for adding made-up information and information that goes against an official source. What do you have to say about these claims? Widr the user that reported me seems to have a problem with me as he has reported me on several occasions and has sent me messages saying essentially "that I never should have became an editor". You must start citing sources to prove notability, where you are expecting others' to deem stuff encyclopedic by osmosis of their recollection. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject). If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Majora (talk) 02:32, 17 October 2017 (UTC) ArbCom 2017 election voter messageHello, Metalworker14. A tag has been placed on List of Today Is the Day members requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.bbc.co.uk/music/artists/c5790c27-5808-42a2-b409-5395b56c209f. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Regarding your addition to Circles (P.O.D. album), we shouldn't use Cryptic Rock as a source per WP:ALBUMAVOID—there has been a discussion on its use before, which resulted in a consensus to not use it, hence its listing there. Another source you used is a blog review—anybody can set up an Internet blog and review an album. It doesn't make them an experienced music critic. We generally prefer publications that have editorial teams and oversight, experienced critics, and being a well known name in their respective fields of music criticism before we use their websites. Delivered by SDZeroBot (talk) 01:01, 25 September 2024 (UTC) October 2024Hello Metalworker14. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Symphony of Heaven, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being employed (or being compensated in any way) by a person, group, company or organization to promote their interests. Paid advocacy on Wikipedia must be disclosed even if you have not specifically been asked to edit Wikipedia. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization. Paid advocates are strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly. Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Metalworker14. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form:

Metalworker14 (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log)) Request reason: I was unaware of the existence of a Conflict of Interest clause. I never received any payment from the artist in question. I joined the artist as a member of the band at least a year after I had created the page. However, I never consciously allowed for that affiliation to influence my edits on Wikipedia, only attempting to include information that is relevant to the artist that was published by independent sources that received nothing more than a press release from the artist or label. I did receive the image in question from the photographer with rights to use the image.
Decline reason: As Graywalls has shown in the discussion below, you have engaged in block evasion by editing Wikipedia using an IP address while your account is blocked. (non-admin comment): I seem to remember this is not the only time COI concerns were raised about you over the years. You also didn't follow up to the message left about conflict of interest editing or a discussion at the noticeboard. I am not sure to what extent admin can review the private evidence sent to paid-en-wpwikipedia.org but it's quite compelling, but for the very reason they had to be emailed, I can't discuss details to stay within WP:OUTING. All I can say is that "paid editing" isn't constrained to itemized payment for specific action to made on Wikipedia. When a salaried person go for a professional coffee with a prospective client, they're not being paid in an itemized "$xx to go have coffee at Starbucks with xx xx from company yy", yet this is a "paid" meeting.
