Hello Meaghan! ~NerdyScienceDude (✉ • ✐) has given you a bit of sunshine to brighten your day! Sunshine promotes WikiLove and hopefully it has made your day better. Spread the sunshine by adding {{subst:User:Meaghan/Sunshine}} to someone else's talk page, whether it be someone you have had disagreements with in the past or a good friend. In addition, you can spread the sunshine to anyone who visits your userpage and/or talk page by adding {{User:Meaghan/Sunshine icon}}. Happy editing! ~NerdyScienceDude (✉ • ✐) 19:08, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Hi Meaghan and various talk page stalkers, was wondering if I could get some help with the Userboxen table that displays on my user page. Does anyone know why the "Userboxen" heading isn't showing up with a Perpetua typeface? And isn't left aligned? Jeffrey Mall (talk • contribs) - 21:44, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Thanks NSD, you were right. I recently re-installed my operating system and apparently forgot to re-install the font packs, I had a look at my user page on my other non-Wiki laptop and the font shows up Perpetua. Kudos to you. Jeffrey Mall (talk • contribs) - 22:52, 17 May 2010 (UTC)
Thank you so much NSD for helping Jeffrey Mall. I had to go away for a couple of days, so I couldn't get on in time. Thanks again, --Meaghan:) ≈01:53, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
...thank-you for the sunshine thingy you gave me. Thanks. Sorry it's so late. I'm on a semi-wikibreak thing, but definitely still alive in case anyone was wondering. Happy "editing", etc. Spongefrog,(I am Czar of all Russias!)21:16, 7 June 2010 (UTC)
Hi, I'd like to invite you to participate in the Guild of Copy Editors July 2010 Backlog Elimination Drive. In May, about 30 editors helped remove the {{copyedit}} tag from 1175 articles. The backlog is still over 7500 articles, and extends back to the beginning of 2008! We really need your help to reduce it. Copyediting just a couple articles can qualify you for a barnstar. Serious copyeditors can win prestigious and exclusive rewards. See the event page for more information. And thanks for your consideration. monosock03:28, 12 June 2010 (UTC)
Thanks for the offer, but I've been quite busy irl lately, so I'm going to pass. However, I may still copyedit the odd article; I just won't be part of the Guild of Copy Editors. Cheers, --Meaghan:) ≈20:17, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
Reviewer user-right
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.
Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.
When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.
If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. – B.hotep •talk• 08:12, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
And thanks for the sunshine. And I like the new name (threw me off for a minute and makes me realise how out of touch I became) :) – B.hotep •talk• 08:12, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
You deserved the sunshine :) Thanks for giving me the reviewer flag. I'll have to do some reading on it since I've never heard of it until now. Cheers, --Meaghan:) ≈20:27, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
It's no big deal. Just another way to fight the vandalism and false information sweeping the WikiNation right now... or all the time actually! Be well. :) – B.hotep •talk• 21:29, 18 June 2010 (UTC)
Not a problem! I'm only going to semi-active for a while. But I'm trying to get on as much as I can. :) Cheers! --Meaghan:) ≈01:43, 20 June 2010 (UTC)
Barnstar
The Anti-Vandalism Barnstar
People beat me to vandalism reversion all the time... but very rarely do they beat me to vandalism before I can even mentally process that I need to press the Huggle revert button. Keep up the good work! :) IronGargoyle (talk) 23:56, 4 July 2010 (UTC)
Thank you! :) *blushes* Keep up the good work yourself. You beat me a few times tonight also. :) Cheers! :) --Meaghan:) ≈00:00, 5 July 2010 (UTC)
I cited the actor's own wikipedia entry for confirmation of my page edit on List of The Closer characters I would hope that such careful editing would not warrant reversion. I will attempt to do so again, but if it gets reverted another time, I suppose I'll just let it be. -- onefourfiveone (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 18:39, 5 August 2010 (UTC).
My apologies; I thought your edit was vandalism. Just a tip; you shouldn't use another Wikipedia article as a source. You should use the source that's on the Jonathan Del Arco article, which is http://www.etonline.com/news/2009/06/75882/. The code to cite that source is <ref name="ETarticleCoronerComesOut">http://www.etonline.com/news/2009/06/75882/</ref>. I'll change it for you. This page might be helpful for you. Once again, I apologize. Cheers, --Meaghan:) ≈18:44, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
The simplest way to produce a coloured barnstar is to use the parametres "border" and "color", which are probably on most, if not all, the barnstar templates. For example, if you wanted to use a barnstar with a lime border and a brown background (I know, silly colour scheme =P), you would use {{subst:The Original Barnstar|bla bla bla --[[User:Example]]|border=lime|color=brown}}, which produces:
When I use coloured barnstars, I like to make the border thicker than the default, so I copy-paste the entire code and make the border 3px wide instead of 1px:
{{helpme}}I want to use your Survivor colorbox template for a wikia site. But I'm not quite sure how to do the transfer or even what the colors you use are. Can you possibly help?
Mikebloom819 (talk) 23:10, 21 August 2010 (UTC)
Can you please clarify which template / colorbox - please put a link to a specific article and tell us what section it is in.
As you have not replied to this yet...I will stop watching this page. Please could you use another {{helpme}} if you can provide us with clearer details, ie the exact template you mean. Thanks, Chzz ► 00:33, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
{{helpme}} Thanks so much for doing that. Unfortunately, I'm not so sure what you mean by "copying over the applicable bits," nor do I know how to actually do that, so a bit more help would be very much appreciated! Mikebloom819 (talk) 01:40, 22 August 2010 (UTC)
So, I edited Template:Stribe, and selected the code from it, and 'copied' - ie from here.
I then created a page called "User:Chzz/Stribe" on that wikia wiki, and pasted it in.
I changed it so that it transcluded the page "User:Chzz/Stribe/color", instead of the template page "{{Stribe/color}}.
I made the same change for the usage of {{Stribe/name}} - I changed it to "{{User:Chzz/Stribe/name}}".
I also removed the <includeonly> and <noinclude> stuff, and the documentation subpage.
Lastly, I created the example page using the subpages, to test it — this test page.
Short of doing the same for 'your' other Wikia wiki, I'm not sure how to explain it any better; erm...
If you were to create a page on the other Wikia wiki called 'User:YOURUSERNAME/Stribe' with a copy of that page on Sausage Wikia, and you changed the "User:Chzz" to "User:YOURUSERNAME", and same for the other 3 pages, then it'd work.
You can also talk to helpers live, with this...I should be there.

I've run across you reverting vandalism several times tonight, and it doesn't look like anyone's given you a barnstar for that, recently. Keep up the good work! Sophus Bie(talk)04:00, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, I am not an administrator. However, a list of active administrators can be found here, and a list of all the administrators can be found here. Cheers! :) --Meaghan[talk] ≈23:33, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
Oops, my apologies for the misunderstanding. I'm sorry, « CA », but I'm going to have to decline. Dylan's right; I'm not quite ready for adminship. Due to real life issues, I may leave for extended periods of time; I've just returned from one of those breaks. I should probably do more article work before running too. Thank you so much for the offer. I'm flattered, but I'm not quite ready at this time. Cheers, --Meaghan[talk] ≈04:29, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
Would you like me to delete your declined RfA? If you decide to run again in the future, it would be considered your second RfA and may lower your chances of succeeding. Eagles24/7(C)04:22, 6 December 2010 (UTC)
