Deletion
You seem to have deleted a page that I created saying it was blatant advertising, do you want to tell me where the Blatant advertising was in the article?

You suggested mediation as the next step, but I am afraid it will simply waste a tremendous amount of time. Here is the attempted mediation between these editors and csloat on a different page, who I mentioned before as having been abused to the point of giving up on the page I'm concerned about. Note that two months and hours of effort and pages of text were spent arguing about two changes to a page. And it was over without accomplishing anything when one of the abusive editors decided to just walk away. It appears to me that absolutely nothing was gained by all of that effort - certainly the page was not improved. And the dispute was not resolved either, but is ongoing here.
I would prefer to either get some open and unbiased eyes looking at the page (would putting an "NPOV" tag on the page help to accomplish this? Certainly there is a serious dispute about the POV of this page). Otherwise, I would prefer to go straight to arbitration - I think their behavior towards my edits would justify that.
Hi, do you think you could look over the newsletter for June and make sure everything is good to go? It is a little late due to being late in selecting the Collaboration of the Month but want to see what you think of it. OrfenUser Talk | Contribs17:42, 31 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting MURGHZAR MINI ZOO, ISLAMBAD, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate MURGHZAR MINI ZOO, ISLAMBAD itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 200:34, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry to say this, but I'm insulted that I've been pinned as a "vandal." I would never vandalise wikipedia, and have never done so. I presume you are referring to a comment made in the reception segment of The Black Parade. I deleted this comment, however upon saving the page my browser closed down. One thing which is important to any person is reputation; please do not wrongly destroy mine. If you look at discussion pages, you will see my IP or username defending quality control of the wikipedia articles! delete this when read if you wish, but I must get my side of the argument across, as you truly have made a mistake.
Thanks for replying, and the explanation you gave makes it clear why i was tagged. I hope to become more accustomed to wikipedia policy as I become more familiar with the site, and i do appreciate that you were following proper wikipedia policy.
many thanks Softwing16:36, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hey bud, your User Page seems a little broken. Maybe it's my cache, but the images aren't showing up right, and the link to Contributions is broken. I tried to fix it, but I'm not terribly good with formatting. I know sometimes people don't look at their UP for a long time, so I thought I'd let you know. Peace! 24.160.241.19018:37, 25 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! Im an English teacher in Toluca Mexico (west of Mexico City). My Advanced B classes will be contributing to Wikipedia as the focus of their English course for Fall 2007. I am looking for people who would like to mentor my students (who will be working in groups) as they do the following assignments: Edit and article (adding a citation), writing a stub with a citation, translating an English language article for Spanish Wikipedia and for the final project, writing a full article for English Wiki (they can expand on the stub mentioned previously). What I would like to do is put a list of "mentors/adopters" on my talk page as a kind of short cut for my students, who have limited time to get things done. The semester begings Aug 6, but the real Wikipedia work wont begin until the beginning of Sept. If you would like to add your name to my list, please go to my talk page and add it there, perhaps with a short introduction, if you like.
Im sending you this reminder because you volunteered to mentor my students in English Advanced B as they become contributing members of the Wikipedia community. We start working with Wikipedia in earnest next week. I ask you to take a look at your entry in the Mentor Table at Wikipedia:School_and_university_projects/ITESM_Campus_Toluca/Mentors
Please update the information, esp. with what your technical and informational expertise is or, if you have decided that you no longer want to participate, please remove your information from the table. Please watch the pages associated with the project. Students will contact you via your user page and as soon as my students have user pages, I will put them on the navigation bar associated with the project.
I don’t need to remind you that your job is NOT to write their assignments for them, of course. I certainly will tell my students that… and the fact that you are volunteers that don’t have to help them… so they need to be nice. If any students misbehave (tho I don’t expect it) don’t hesistate to contact me and I will take care of it. The goal of this project is to integrate successfully into the Wikipedia community. Anyway… what I really need your help with is helping students get oriented to Wikipedia, make appropriate changes and write about appropriate topics (see Wikipedia:School_and_university_projects/ITESM_Campus_Toluca/Syllabus for assignments). I also need your technical expertise… I am only an English teacher after all! I appreciate what technology does for us but I am no technical expert!
Hi, my name is Oscar, I am a member of the group ZYANYA06, I would like to know if you are interested in helping us in our preject, we would really appreciate your help, the link to our site is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:School_and_university_projects/ITESM_Campus_Toluca/ZYANYA06 , we would like to know what are you studying and where, we need to know this just for telling it to our teacher and it is a way of proving that we are really making a good job and not making out everything. Well thankyou for your attention, I will be looking forward your answer.

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Cant be saved.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Cant be saved.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
Sorry, it seems that the bot quit before completing its run last week. Here is the last two weeks' worth of Signpost. Ralbot (talk) 08:41, 17 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hi! I'm Ral315, editor-in-chief of the Wikipedia Signpost. It appears that you have not edited in at least a few months. To avoid spamming your talk page any further, should you be on leave, your name has been removed from the Signpost spamlist. If you wish to continue receiving the Signpost on your talk page, please leave a note on my talk page to that effect, and I will restore your name, and keep you on the list indefinitely. Motto of the day
Hello, I notice you're using one of the {{motd}} templates, run by Wikipedia:Motto of the day. You may have noticed that some of the mottos recently have been followed by a date from 2006, or on occasion simply "Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia". The reason for this is that Motto of the day is in some very serious need of help. Participation in the project, which has never been especially high, has dropped considerably over this past summer, to the point we have had several days where no motto was scheduled to appear at all. Over the past several weeks, I've been the only editor scheduling mottos at all, but there aren't enough comments on some of these mottos to justify their use. If we do not get some help - and soon - your daily mottos will stop. In order for us to continue updating these templates for you, we need your help.
When you get a chance between your normal editing, could you stop by our nominations page and leave a few comments on some of the mottos there, especially those that do not have any comments yet? This works very simply; you read a motto, decide whether or not you like it, and post your opinion just below the motto. That's it - no experience required, just an idea of what you personally like and what you feel reflects Wikipedia and its community. If you do have past experience with the project, then please close some of the older nominations once they've got a decent consensus going. There are directions on the nominations page on how to do this.
If you have any questions, please let me know, or post on the project's talk page. I'm looking forward to reading your comments on the suggested mottos, and any additional suggestions you'd like to make. Until then, happy editing! Hersfold(t/a/c)03:33, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Proposed deletion of James Gill
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article James Gill, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
Musician not notable outside of his band or bands, per WP:MUSIC.
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
You may be interested to know that the WikiProject My Chemical Romance has recently been transformed into a task force of WikiProject Emo. Please visit the task force page to see what's new. This move allies the task force with a larger WikiProject that handles much of the administrative overload, thus allowing task force members to focus on the most important activity: article improvement.
The project's membership list has also been moved to the new task force page. If you see that your username is in the "Inactive/former members" section, please do not take offense; this is because you no longer appear to be active on Wikipedia. We may also take the liberty of removing the member userbox from your userpage if it appears there, to prevent you from automatically appearing in Category:My Chemical Romance task force members. Of course you are free to rejoin the task force and re-add the userbox at any time if you would like to become active again.
For active editors, it is our hope that this change will help spur you to improve articles related to My Chemical Romance. You may have noticed that the old My Chemical Romance project userbox on your user page has automatically changed to the new task force userbox. We may take the liberty of fixing the template link on your userpage, to avoid redirects.
Thank you and we hope you will continue to support the My Chemical Romance task force!
You are receiving this message because you have previously identified yourself as a member of WikiProject My Chemical Romance, either because your name appeared on the project's Participants page or because you have placed the project userbox on your user page. As a courtesy, if you have left the project, retired from Wikipedia, or simply no longer wish to be an active member of the task force, please remove the userbox from your user page. This will remove you from Category:My Chemical Romance task force members and help the task force to keep its active membership list up-to-date.
is missing a description and/or other details on its image description page. If possible, please add this information. This will help other editors make better use of the image, and it will be more informative to readers.
Thanks for uploading File:Senses fail rum.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
