VandalProof 1.2 Now AvailableAfter a lenghty, but much-needed Wikibreak, I'm happy to announce that version 1.2 of VandalProof is now available for download! Beyond fixing some of the most obnoxious bugs, like the persistent crash on start-up that many have experienced, version 1.2 also offers a wide variety of new features, including a stub-sorter, a global user whitelist and blacklist, navigational controls, and greater customization. You can find a full list of the new features here. While I believe this release to be a significant improvement over the last, it's nonetheless nowhere near the end of the line for VandalProof. Thanks to Rob Church, I now have an account on test.wikipedia.org with SysOp rights and have already been hard at work incorporating administrative tools into VandalProof, which I plan to make available in the near future. An example of one such SysOp tool that I'm working on incorporating is my simple history merge tool, which simplifies the process of performing history merges from one article into another. Anyway, if you haven't already, I'd encourage you to download and install version 1.2 and take it out for a test-drive. As always, your suggestions for improvement are always appreciated, and I hope that you will find this new version useful. Happy editing! --AmiDaniel (talk) 02:56, 21 May 2006 (UTC) Re: ThanksNo problemo, gotta love VP ;) --james °o 07:59, 23 May 2006 (UTC) nForce 3 250Not necessarily. 100 Mbps Ethernet controller doesn't have to be included in chipset or motherboard. So nForce3 model 250 that I have (Epox 8KDA3I) comes with 100 Mbps Ethernet and hardware firewall. Some versions (motherboards) don't have firewall, some don't have even ethernet.

The boxes on the left overlap the table in the middle(ish). Wrapping the table in a div that starts with <div style="float:right;"> and the bit with the boxes in a plain div seems to make it render more consistently, though I can't test it in a bunch of browsers right now. Liquid Molten Metal is Reported by FEMAWP editors are not required to prove anything, and with your 5000 edits, you know this. We are required to report on what has been published by reliable sources. The molten metal cascading out of WTC2 is such a thing. Stop it. Three revert rule. TruthSeeker1234 06:06, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Sources are not proof, sources are sources. I wish we were supposed to prove things. That would be better. WP policy is about sources. In this case, the sources are FEMA, which admits molten metal pouring out of WTC before collapse. NY Times which reported structural engineers observing steel beams partly evaporated, and various structural engineers who reported observing molten metal flowing and in pools, and dripping off the ends of beams. Have you not seen all this? Promise me that if I link you to these things, you will use your amazing bot powers to include them in various articles. You have god like powers, and I bow down to you. TruthSeeker1234 06:58, 2 June 2006 (UTC)
Sorry, it is NIST which mentioned the molten metal streaming out of the WTC2. They say it is "possibly aluminum" and leave it at that. Of course we know that it cannot be aluminum. Is this good enough for you? If I dig up the NIST page and send it to you, do you promise you will fight with me to include it in the article? TruthSeeker1234 02:38, 3 June 2006 (UTC)

Haversham HallHow are you the expert on "Haversham Hall?" YOU can attribute information to unnamed "sources" but no one else can? Plus, some of your info is wrong. You write "the pilot will be directed by Dennie Gordon." However, the pilot is already finished, therefore, it WAS directed by Dennie Gordon. I keep trying to correct your mistakes and you leave threats. WTF!!??
Yes, but you HAVE taken it upon yourself to edit the page. There is info on the page attributed to "sources," yet this isn't revised. Please refrain from revising information that you have no knowledge of. Thanks! : )
Answer to your questionIn answer to your question, we were told that all references to John and the magazine would be removed. We discovered that this page still remains on Ami's Archive. Please be so kind as to remove this page or delete the title and name headings as was done in the other instances. You know the history is still there if you need it. At this point this insignificant verbiage does not serve anyone. I don't understand what the point was for the name change; particularly since the link to the pseudonym is now posted online? Secondly because the topic to which it pertains was origanally a local phenomenon, but is currently spanning two contenents, and is becomming fairly well known in the upstate New York region. True the topic may be small compared to other's. but i do not see where it has any less importance than many other articles that feature only a sentence or two about flash films to sexual positions, which are granted longevity in Wikipedia.

Broke the Tatmadaw articleThe problem you most likely faced regarding the Tatmadaw article was that I have converted images in Wikipedia articles that contain images to display Burmese text to Unicode text, in order to begin creating a standardised system for Burmese-related articles. By using Unicode, if spelling errors (in Burmese) are found, users who know the subject well could correct the spelling, whereas with images, it would be difficult to do so. Try installing a Burmese Unicode font ([8]). Perhaps this template (Template:Burmese characters) will help. Anyways, when you click on the "show" buttons it just appears on top of existing text and stuff, creating an incomprehensible and incoherent mess. Seriously, even though it looks hopeless, good luck in your RfA, and if you have lost all hope, you can withdraw. Freddie Message? 01:14, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
Northcote HSAfter spending hours labouring on the northcote high school article, I was somewhat disgruntled to have it passed off as "random collections of encyclopedic content". I seem to believe that the added information was quite relevant to an article lacking in any useful content. Please explain, mboverload... David.
Alpha-testing next-gen automatic typofixerI noticed you editing Ayn Rand and Objectivism (Ayn Rand) with the above edit summary and was curious if you had a subpage explaining this bot/semibot? Crazynas t 11:51, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
CuriousWhy did you revert, and then revert back to, my edits on the Furry Fandom [9][10] article? - 81.179.83.230 17:00, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

Regards, Alphachimp talk 03:17, 10 July 2006 (UTC) Your RfAI'm very unimpressed by the way this has been manipulated. Please see my comments (my support comment #24 and my replies to Cyde's oppose comment #2). Let me know if there is anything I can do to support you.--A. B. 05:32, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
Minor editsHi. I noticed that what you flag as minor edits aren't so, like this and especially this. I would suggest you disable the "flag edits as minor" preference, or otherwise supervise more carefully when that minor button is checked or not. I think it can be a bit deceiving to use that flag for non minor edits. Wonder what you think. You can reply here. Thanks. Oleg Alexandrov (talk) 06:38, 10 July 2006 (UTC)
AN/II've noticed that some of your posts on AN/I are mostly dealing with content disputes. While I agree that the Wiki-star drama had been going on for far too long, please remember that AN/I is for reporting incidents that must be dealt with by administrators. For questions regarding content (as in the case of the dated reference) you could try the IRC channel or the help desk. Keep up the good work. Isopropyl 00:22, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Oh, and a quick tip: if you want to reference a template like {{disputed-section}}, you can use {{tl}} and pipe the name of the other template. For example:
How dare you.After-the-fact note from mboverload: This was a highly abusive editor who made his talk page completely unreadable (using the smallest font possible with ultra-low contrast dark purple-on-dark purple text. The thing he is refering to a picture that he uploaded in my name and posted it here in full resolution in order to screw up the formatting of my page. This is how difficult YOUR messages are to deal with on MY screen. When you have reverted your own highly rude WP:POINT please send me e-mail. It is hard enough to work on WP without having people with the most intolerant attitudes flaunting their authority over others as a gang regarding the most absolute petty things. I will no longer participate in any editing or discussion of articles until you have changed my page back the way it was. --Ste4k 01:38, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
Please do not continue editing my comments. I intend to report this matter and removing this from your Talk Page instead of correcting the damage you did to mine is only covering up what you did. Ste4k 01:53, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
