Professor Sir Michael Rutter2Dear User:Masterpiece2000, I am sorry to say that I do not see Richard Dawkins as an accepted authority for this edit. Can you cite your authority please? kipKingsleyMiller (talk) 18:00, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Professor Sir Michael Rutter3Hello KingsleyMiller. How are you? We don't put "Professor" in the title. You can see other similar biographies. For example, see the biography of Simon Baron-Cohen. Regards, Masterpiece2000 (talk) 06:54, 5 April 2008 (UTC) Dear Masterpiece2000, I am not quite sure what you are saying. The dispute was over the inclusion in the text. You have removed the word from the main body of the text. Who is 'we'? KingsleyMiller (talk) 07:28, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Re: YearsThanks M2000, you too. I'll try to correct that linking Years, sorry. Regards. AC+79 3888 (talk) 08:02, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
Richard Dawkins page protectionYes, I agree, we should apply for it, and I think that we will get it too. It is extremely annoying to see it happen all the time especially when we are trying to get it to FA status. Regards.--AC+79 3888 (talk) 10:36, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Peer review of Richard DawkinsHello Masterpiece. I think that I will submit the Richard Dawkins article for peer review at Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Peer review. What do you think?--AC+79 3888 (talk) 17:12, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
Kindness is widespread here :)
Serious admiration to you for doing it. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 00:40, 6 April 2008 (UTC)

Rationalism / Richard DawkinsHello M2000. Thanks for your suggestion. I have added the Rationalist Userbox to my page. I think that the Richard Dawkins page is almost Featured Article level, I'd just like to wait for the Peer Review to be completed. It shouldn't be too long until someone takes a look at it. Thanks, AC+79 3888 (talk) 19:30, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
HelloHi M2000. I really think that the Richard Dawkins article is FA status at this point. The person who did the peer review for me said he thought it was "a very strong article". I know it has not been long since the last review, but so much has changed in the article since then. AC+79 3888 (talk) 19:47, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
Hmm, I don't know. I think the sources do suggest that he is outspoken and an antitheist. For example in the citations, this one says:
and this one:
...but if you think it works better without them, I'm OK with that. I don't think it's very important. Thanks, AC+79 3888 [ talk ] 07:56, 18 April 2008 (UTC)
I think most of Ealdgyth's issues have been resolved, but according to his talk page he/she is currently on vacation so cannot update the list! I will try to work out the other stuff as I can. Thanks, AC+79 3888 [ talk ] 22:01, 18 April 2008 (UTC) My RfA...Thank you...
...for your participation in my RFA, which closed with 85 supports, 2 neutrals and 1 oppose. I'm extremely grateful for all the the kind comments from so many brilliant Wikipedians I've come to respect and admire, as well as many others I've not yet had the pleasure of working with, and I'll do my best to put my shiny new mop and bucket to good use! Once again, thank you ;) EyeSerenetalk 17:11, 14 April 2008 (UTC) Re:What about the last paragraph of the lead? indopug (talk) 12:48, 15 April 2008 (UTC)

We really need the people who raised issues to come back and say that they are happy with it. As for your question on The Extended Phenotype, unfortunately it is the only book by Dawkins which I do not own. I may try to get my hands on it. AC+79 3888 [ talk ] 17:41, 19 April 2008 (UTC)
Re:WikiProject PolandDear Masterpiece2000, WikiProject Poland is really the WP:PWNB. Feel free to add your name there - it is not limited to Poles or even Polish speaking editors, anybody interested in the subject can is most welcome! --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk 03:16, 21 April 2008 (UTC) Richard Dawkins FACI understand that the FAC process can be pretty stressful, with all the reviews pouring in and each reviewer seemingly demanding that the article be molded to his/her taste. Typically FAC reviewers do not edit the article they are critiquing because of both time and neutrality concerns. May I suggest that you contact people on the related projects (WP:EB, ID etc.) to ask for help in reviewing the article and also responding to other reviewers' comments ? It may also be a good idea to leave a note on the FAC page that the concerns are in the process of being addressed - that way the FA director is unlikely to close the FAC as dormant. Cheers. Abecedare (talk) 16:25, 21 April 2008 (UTC)
Other stuffThanks, M2000. I'll take a look at the articles you have suggested. A lot of my editing time has been taken up with trying to get the Richard Dawkins article to FA status, but hopefully it will be resolved soon. Regards, AC+79 3888 [ talk ] 19:49, 23 April 2008 (UTC) Agnosticism and your comment on my talk pageMasterpiece2000, thanks. Likewise. We'll agree to disagree with civility. All the best. --Ds13 (talk) 06:13, 24 April 2008 (UTC) The God Delusion publishersHello M2000. The UK publisher is Transworld, the US publisher is Bantam Press. That is why there is confusion. As for "location", is the United Kingdom not the place of publication, or does it want something like "Oxford"? Richard DawkinsHi, I responded on my talk page, but maybe we can continue to discuss what to do about that section here. The length of it was one reason I couldn't whole-heartedly support the FA. I will certainly not revert back to my own version, but don't let your shock of seeing so many sources disappear be the sole judge of what makes it a better article. Something being a reliable source, even a good piece of information, doesn't necessarily improve the article. I think the current version is a painful read, and the backward-forward argumentation there is not in tune with the rest of the article. Cheers, Merzul (talk) 14:16, 30 April 2008 (UTC) Oh, and I should apologize, I noticed you had to spend some time cleaning up and restoring subsequent edits. I'm very sorry for that. Next time I make such an edit I will self-revert and post a link to my version on the talk-page. Thanks for cleaning up, Merzul (talk) 14:24, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Thought you might find this usefulHere's the symbol for humanism. I thought you might want to display it on your user or talk page. Are you working on Humanism articles? What do you think is lacking in Wikipedia's coverage of Humanism? Thank you for the advice on joining the humanism category. I'd really like to meet more humanists, and so I've joined. I wouldn't have if you hadn't suggested it. Thanks. By the way, I just noticed that there isn't a Wikipedia:WikiProject Humanism. If you were to create it, I would certainly join. Hi Then we look forward to working with you in June. National Secular Society (talk) 15:14, 12 May 2008 (UTC) Stefan BanachDear Masterpiece, thank you for adding your voice in the matter of the "Stefan Banach" article, which has been plagued recently by one of those misguided or unbalanced individuals who prowl the halls of Wikipedia. How are things lately with you? What is holding up the "Richard Dawkins" FA status? Since the subject of the article has previously contributed to it, why not appeal to him to resolve any substantive questions — by email, if it's turned on? It was a fine article months ago, and should be promoted without further unnecessary delay. Nihil novi (talk) 06:25, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

WBOSITG's RfAMy RfAHi Masterpiece2000; I wanted to say thank you for supporting my request for adminship, which passed with 100 supports, 0 opposes and 1 neutral. I wanted to get round everybody individually, even though it's considered by some to be spam (which... I suppose it is! but anyway. :)). It means a lot to me that the community has placed its trust in my ability to use the extra buttons, and I only hope I can live up to its expectations. If you need anything, or notice something that bothers you, don't hesitate to let me know. Thanks again, PeterSymonds | talk 22:25, 13 May 2008 (UTC) Signpost updated for May 12th, 2008.
