Hi ManaliJain! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. Be our guest at the Teahouse! The Teahouse is a friendly space where new editors can ask questions about contributing to Wikipedia and get help from experienced editors like Missvain (talk).
I've posted the following on the talk page for Avneet Kaur (see Talk:Avneet Kaur. You might find it helpful in locating reliable sources for that article.
Help finding reliable sources
There seems to be some confusion on the part of editors of this article of what constitutes a reliable source for citations. In most cases, user-generated content such as YouTube, IMDB, as well as most "blogs" are not considered reliable. You might find these references helpful:
Oh these references are surely helpful, thanks for assiting! I'll make sure that Avneet Kaur's article and even other personality's article constitutes reliable sources. ManaliJain (talk) 07:51, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
Requesting articles be created
The reality is that the only people who look at WP:RA are volunteer editors, and there is such a backlog that the chances are that anyone acts on your proposed article are very small. David notMD (talk) 16:53, 13 July 2021 (UTC)
~ He is an artist, a singer, a song-writer, a music composer, a social media influencer and also a youtuber.
~ He is an Indian verified artist on many music platforms including Spotify, JioSaavn, Gaana, YouTube Music, etc.
~ He has featured in 12 songs / music videos, 10 of them has been sung by himself.
~ He has collaborated for music with singers including Arjun Kanungo, Aashna Hegde and also with the brand OnePlus.
~ I also do have reliable sources regarding him like Times Of India, The Indian Express, The New Indian Express, Beauty Pageants, Indulge Express, The Statesman, Mid-Day, etc.
~ I really think Wikipedia could have an article on him.
Okay, but what do you mean by independent sources? The ones that I mentioned above are reliable, can't they be considered? ManaliJain (talk) 09:50, 14 July 2021 (UTC)
Read this WP:BASIC,WP:NACTOR. Sources should provide in-depth information about the person not just passing mentions.
Parnaval (talk) has given you a wiki free beer of your choice to wiki drink. This user advises you to not get too wiki-drunk or you could get a wiki-hangover.
Looking at recent edits of yours, I think you are too much tired. Have a break
A belated welcome!
Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, ManaliJain! I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may still benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:
Even though there are a few reliable sources out there but the mentioned award still isn't notable. Read: WP:FILMCRITICLIST for more. In simple words, if an award has it's own page on Wikipedia than it could be considered and added otherwise not. ManaliJain (talk) 09:26, 29 September 2021 (UTC)
You can't add non-reliable sources to any article, even though it's Joshi's official website. Read WP:ICTFSOURCES, WP:LINKSTOAVOID. Every time you cite that particular website, you always get reverted from some editor or other, so better don't add it next time. ManaliJain (talk) 10:36, 7 October 2021 (UTC)
Wrong information
Hi,
I have noticed that User:Swarnim Shukla is adding wrong information in Article:Dev Joshi again again.
Its request please guide him and if he/she disagree with it so please block that user immediately. Baaldin (talk) 12:42, 17 October 2021 (UTC)
You may check out the Movie and also there are other links where you will be able to find Shehnaaz Gill name. Her debut movie is Kawela.
Kindly add this in the page with the link you find reliable.
1. Pls add "Shaandaar Ravivaar" in "Guest Appearances" in which Shehnaaz Gill appeared as a guest. This show was hosted by Bharti and Haarsh on Colors TV.

Hello! Voting in the 2021 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 6 December 2021. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
Hi Manali Ji,
Good day!
I added Serial Numbers to the films acted by Mrunal Thakur and Films directed by Srijit Mukherji in their pages.
Why is it reverted?
Is there any reason for reverting those changes?
Thanks,
Prabhakaran. Mlprabhakaran90 (talk) 11:11, 26 November 2021 (UTC)
I'm extremely sorry for the inconvenience I've created. It was unintentional. I will certainly read and learn the policies, to better understand this issue. Vsedits (talk) 13:28, 26 November 2021 (UTC)
Also, since IIFA 2020 is unsupported by any independent or reliable sources, you have to stop adding up details regarding it on different articles. Once the information is out on reliable ones, the same would be considered and added. You can read more about reliable sources at WP:RS and WP:ICTFSOURCES. ManaliJain (talk) 03:59, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
Filmography
Don't add films without started actual shooting with appropriate source. In Siddhant Chaturvedi's filmography Kho Gaye Hum Kaha was not started filming yet. Also u add sources of film announcement not film's shooting starts stated sources. Thank you. Sush150 (talk) 02:55, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
@Sush150: Since the film was in its pre-production process, so I added the same to Chaturvedi's filmography section. Anyways, I'll add the same later when the filming starts. Thanks, ManaliJain (talk) 06:08, 4 December 2021 (UTC)
regarding Shivangi's birthday
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xiRLhb5tmVA
please check out this iv by telly chakkar(Time stamp 6:18 onwards) she is herself confirming that she was born on 18th may 1998 and her real age is 23 only but its not getting corrected on wiki.. also just near around one and a half year back she posted for her parents 24th wedding anniversary on IG! Rockingkittu (talk) 03:24, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
@Rockingkittu: YouTube is not a reliable source. Also there are already many edit requests in the talk page archive section about her age, if you want to change her date of birth than you should provide reliable sources for the same. YouTube, Instagram or any other social media site is not a reliable source for such information. Please read WP:ICTFSOURCES to know about which sites are considered reliable and which aren't. ManaliJain (talk) 04:39, 6 December 2021 (UTC)
I've removed those awards which aren't notable. Read: WP:FILMCRITICLIST for more. In simple words, if an award has its own page on Wikipedia than it could be considered and added otherwise not. ManaliJain (talk) 04:50, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
A kitten for you!
I appreciate you for your contribution to the wikipedia.
Hello. I'm sorry but I won't be able to make a page for your respective subject as I'm busy with other things right now. Maybe you can ask any other editor for the same or even you could create a page yourself. Please read WP:YFA and WP:HTCAP for better understanding. Thank you, ManaliJain (talk) 14:51, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
