Removed prod from PangPondHello RadioFan, just letting you know that I removed the proposed deletion tag from this article. Although the article currently lacks sources, it seems to have a quite a bit of notability, just from the Google News hits alone, which suggest that he is to Thailand what Mickey Mouse is to the US. If you still believe the article should be deleted I suggest bringing it to AfD. Thanks! -- Atama頭 01:04, 4 December 2009 (UTC) Beta testingHi RadioFan. I'm currently writing an editing tool for deletion tagging, WikiAlerter. At the moment I'm looking for some users to do some testing for me, as I haven't used all the functions myself. This would basically involve using the program from time to time, being prepared for it to mess up on you, and reporting any errors to me :). If you were willing to do so, this would be very helpful, but feel free to say no :). If you do decide to, please email me (so I have your email to send the program to). [Grace Harlowe]Hi there, Just noticed your edits to the Grace Harlowe page - I'm sure my citations were hopelessly unformatted. Anyhoo - being new to Wikipedia-making, I'm having some problems figuring out how to go back and edit the citations now: for instance, #2 was published in 1917, rather than the 2007 publication of the Gutenberg page, and #5 was the June issue, rather than "une". I'd be happy to do it, if only the "edit" link took me to the actual citation text! Thanks much for cleaning up my work. :) Jphilbrick (talk) 19:45, 5 December 2009 (UTC)
Ad notabilityHello, editor RadioFan i've noticed your note on notability in my recent article, it refers to Notability (organizations and companies). the source i'm refferint to is a trusted one - registry of slovak architecture, see http://www.register.ustarch.sav.sk/index.php?lang=en it's a translation, maybe you can advice me on the information i should add so that the article is verifiable by the Wikipedia standards? thank you, Michal —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fjaker (talk • contribs) 16:24, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

I'm impressed on how determined you are of proving your point. I do agree, it's informative to see former logos of TV or radio stations. I appreciate that some users reverted User talk:The JPS's contributing by adding the photo again. Indeed former logos of TV or radio stations can be considered part of the stations' history. Assumingly, several users must agree that pictures were meant to prove something. Whether it be historical like a famous wedding or a tragic incident such as a war. I hope all goes well with this dispute. :) --SwisterTwister (talk) 07:16, 14 December 2009 (UTC):)

Deletion taggingsI really think you should be more careful before putting deletion tags. Just looking at a new article for a few seconds is not enough to determine notability. At least a quick Google Web/News/Books search first is a good idea. --Apoc2400 (talk) 14:59, 21 December 2009 (UTC)

You tagged this image for speedy deletion (and rightly so!). The only problem was that the image is actually on Wikimedia Commons and needs to be deleted there. They have speedy deletion too, so you can just go to the image page on Commons and add {{speedy delete}} or {{copyvio}} or whatever. Their tags aren't the same as ours - that would be too easy - but the details are at Commons:Deletion policy#Speedy deletion. I've had another look, and I can't really see any reason to change it. Even once we remove Arhus denizen (talk · contribs) from the mix, it comes out to 2-3, which is hardly a "consensus" to do anything. While the deletion arguments were good, they have to be weighed against Ari89 (talk · contribs)'s Keep vote, which I also found to be compelling. I'll grant you that it probably leans towards deletion, but as far as I can see this is pretty much a stalemated no-consensus discussion. Lankiveil (speak to me) 23:28, 26 December 2009 (UTC).
Within 5 minutes of the initialization of this article, you called into question its originality, its notability, the style of its references, and its neutrality, even though a quick glance at the page history would have shown that I was still actively editing the brand-spanking-new article. Re: references in Ricardo MellaHello. I added some references to the stub, and I put the {{Underconstruction}} indication. I should have done before :P... so I'm translating this article from the Spanish Wikipedia. About relevance, the character itself is relevant, it was a well known Spanish anarchist political in the early twentieth century. I hope the references was adequate enough. Any case, thanks for the advertisements. Regards! Tirithel (talk) 05:38, 30 December 2009 (UTC) The current Lisa Pegher article was not undeleted because it was never deleted, see the log. An earlier version was deleted on 8 November 2007 under WP:CSD#A7. The article had at that time, and surely has now, claims of significance, which is enough to bar an A7 speedy deletion, so I undeleted the old history for increased transparency in current discussions. As to the copyright issues Wikipedia:FAQ/Copyright says "Facts cannot be copyrighted. It is legal to read an encyclopedia article or other work, reformulate the concepts in your own words, and submit it to Wikipedia, although the structure, presentation, and phrasing of the information should be your own original creation." Given that the source is basically a statement of facts, i don't think the current article infringes, although further reworking and the use of additional sources will, I hope, improve it further. But it is not now a copyright issue of the sort that warrants speedy deletion in my view. About autobiography. The 2007 version by User:Lpegher1 may well have been autobiographical, although it wasn't deleted for that reason. I see no evidence that User:Drummerboy 34 is User:Lpegher1 -- I do not find your sockpuppet case persuasive. In any case "autobiography" is not, in itself, a reason to delete an article, as WP:COI clearly says. As for spam, the current article text is factual in tone, and does not seem overly promotional. Therefore, it is again not a speedy deletion candidate under WP:CSD#G11 As to notability -- here an argument might be made. But that argument should be made at WP:AFD if at all. I think the cited references in Symphony Magazine and the Pittsburgh Post Gazette are enough to demonstrate at least threshold notability, but an AFD might reach a different conclusion.
