Romanian translation of the Italian protest pageHi. I see you are originally from the Italian Wikipedia. I would like to ask for your help, if possible, in a matter related to the on-going protest there. At the Romanian Wikipedia we have prepared a Romanian translation of the protest page and we would like to post it at it.wp, along with the other translations that are available. However, I have no means to communicate with an Italian Wikipedia administrator. Do you happen to be in contact with any of them? If you do, could you please tell them that the Romanian translation is here and ready to be posted? Thank you. — AdiJapan 11:49, 5 October 2011 (UTC)
Thank you!
Caproni museumHi, I saw your post on Bzuk's talkpage & followed the link to the article in your sandbox, hope you don't mind if I weigh in. I'm a fussy native English speaker, and at a brief readthrough could only see two instances that read like it was not written by a native English speaker. Very interesting article.... The first is the use of patron as a verb... the verb is patronise, whose primary meaning has rather diverged frm 'to act as a patron' You could say they were patrons of the art, but I think I'd simply say they collected artworks or paintings. The second is "a fairly innovative and eye-catching mounting", and here mounting isn't the word I'd use: 'exhibition design' would be better. (and I'd ditch the fairly)TheLongTone (talk) 07:06, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the background on "Aeropainting" as I assumed wrongly that it referred to airbrush painting, an area in which I have an interest and background as a former graphic artist (so I should have known better). As to the Lockheed F-104 in service in Italy, both F-104G and indigenous F-104S variants were operational. From the MM.6945 on, the F-104S was the primary variant in place. If the museum and the photographer have identified the example on display as a G model (MM6609 F-104G); the edit will be amended. FWiW Bzuk (talk) 23:22, 12 April 2012 (UTC).
