Nicely done! --Durin 14:34, 30 May 2006 (UTC) Siege of Port ArthurI feel that your major rewrite of Siege of Port Arthur in August 2006 too heavily borrows from battlefieldanomalies.com. I have blanked the latest version and restored the version from 25 July 2006 with some edits. I have temporarily moved the your version to User:MChew/Siege of Port Arthur -- Petri Krohn 23:48, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
Not machine translation. I can tell you a fuller story if you require. Also, minor edit is not suitable for large cuts. Charles Matthews 16:47, 18 October 2006 (UTC) Did you know?--GeeJo (t)⁄(c) • 19:24, 5 December 2006 (UTC) Category:Japanese people from X PrefectureThat's a good point, regarding the province/domain and present-day prefecture. Since there are many provinces which span multiple prefectures (and vice versa), maybe it makes sense to make a new split at Category:Japanese people, and create Category:Japanese people by historical province or something like that. Then, people could be sorted by their historical province (Satsuma) and their present-day prefecture (Kagoshima), and we wouldn't have any conflict with the categorization guidelines. What do you think about that? Is there any reason why Category:People from Satsuma Domain needs to be a subcategory of Category:People from Kagoshima Prefecture? As for wading through cities to find someone, I couldn't agree more. My proposal here is a bandaid; but, if there was a suggestion to eliminate the local city/town categories, I would support it in a heartbeat. (not just people, but structures, stations, etc). I don't think it stands much of a chance, which is why I haven't proposed it myself. But, if it reached consensus, then fixing things would not take long for a bot. Neier 23:23, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

Blnguyen (bananabucket) 08:14, 18 December 2006 (UTC) Many thanks again, Blnguyen (bananabucket) 04:03, 20 December 2006 (UTC) Hi, you must have known me. As of Toranomon Incident, you had better describe about the father of Namba Daisuke after the incident. That is the way of Japanese aristocracy at that time.--Panpulha 10:47, 21 December 2006 (UTC) Did you know?-- Always good to see solid articles where once there was only a kinda pitiful stub. Nice work :) GeeJo (t)⁄(c) • 16:53, 26 December 2006 (UTC) An article which you started, or significantly expanded, James Murdoch (Scottish journalist), was selected for DYK!
