I think the part about Snape 'protecting' the students is a bit much, esp. when we consider that his true nature isn't really revealed until the end. I am not saying he is a dick, but he does seem rather above being all protective of the students. That's what drove the revert. No offense as to your editing skills was intended. I appreciate you coming to me right away and asking me about it. - Arcayne(cast a spell)20:03, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
OK, thanks for the reply, no worries at all. Yes, as I made the edit, I was thinking about the same issue as yourself, but I couldn't find another 'suitable' word other than 'protecting'. Shielding might have been better looking back now, but as you said, that indicates a revelation we discover near the end. Happy editing! Lradrama20:19, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
Will (aka Wimt) has smiled at you! Smiles promote WikiLove and hopefully this one has made your day better. Yes we do! Both born in Lancashire, England! Oh, and thanks for the tip-off (i.e. both the Real Lancashire userbox and the vandalised article). Happy editing! Lradrama18:08, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
The reason I deleated that section was simply because those characters do not appear in the Belgariad, they appear in the squeul series the Mallereon. So I saw no point in them being there.Wild ste13:01, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
If you feel there is no point in them being there, by all means get rid of them. However, it may just be best to inform other users of what you are doing on the article's talkpage (i.e. click on the discussion tab). I think it's best to do it like that. :-) Lradrama08:22, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for showing your support for me in my recent RfA. Unfortunately, I was unable to earn the required consensus and did not succeed. I do hope to put in another request in a few months, once I have improved upon the concerns addressed by the rest of the participants. Your expressed trust in me will definitely help me reach that goal. Thank you again, and happy editing! Hersfold(t/a/c)01:31, 5 September 2007 (UTC)
You're very welcome! I hope you are successful next time. If you take on board the points raised by voters on this RfA, I'm sure you'll do much better next time around. Lradrama08:40, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks!
My RFA
I thank you for participating in my successful request for adminship, which ended with 60 supports, no opposes, no neutrals, and one abstain.
I just received a comment from you out of the blue on how to edit pages and whatnot on Wikipedia when I've been doing so for a while. Did I suddenly do something wrong, or was this because the other night I was braindead tired when trying to write something on a discussion page and took three tries to sign my name at the end and be logged in at the same time? ;D Sleepsong04:51, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Hello there, yes, I see you have been editing Wikipedia for a while, but I also noticed you hadn't had your talkpage started. And the good old welcome message is a great way to start it! It gives great pointers that are really useful to everyone. Anybody who has contributed well to this website and is without any discussions, I provide them with a welcome template. I hope that's OK! Happy editing! Lradrama13:28, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Thank you very much for the welcome! I don't speak very well the english, but I hope of editing enough well in the patrolling! Bye, --Ripepette13:58, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
We have just initiated a SWTTF Collaboration. It is an effort to bring a selected article in the scope of this Task Force to at least GA status. Our current collaboration is, our main article, the Salem Witch Trials. You may nominate an article for the next collaboration here.
We have also just created a new unit, the SWTTF Anti-Vandalism Unit. This Unit concentrates on stopping, preventing, reverting, and reporting vandalism in articles within the scope of this Task Force. This Unit also focuses on cleaning up articles as well. Although all members of this Task Force are encouraged to revert vandalism, to specifically be a member of this Unit please sign yourself up here.
There has been some discussion about breaking off from the Massachusetts wikiproject. Please join in at the task force talk page
If you know anyone who would be interested in joining the project please invite them.(but please don't spam random talk pages :P)
We also welcome all are new members. Thanks for joining!!!
Messages from the Editors
This is are first newsletter, and because of me its a day late. This first issue was not very well announced (which is probably also my fault :D), but for the next issue we encourage everyone to help write it. Also for the first time I delivered the newsletter personally, but for the future Grafikbot or betacommandbot hopefully will be doing this automatically. So please place your self in the right place here. And last but not least please be bold in your editing. Happy Editing! Yamaka122...:)22:59, 11 September 2007 (UTC)
Lastly, this is your newsletter and you can be involved in the creation of the next issue (Issue 10 – November 2007). Any and all contributions are welcome. Simply let yourself be known to any of the undersigned, or just start editing!

Hi Lradrama, I was wondering if you could at some point review the Malaysian article for us. If you can, that would be be very greatful, thanks. (Discussion PR) Davnel0318:40, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
Right I think I've done it. I couldn't find any other big issues other than what was already stated on the peer-review discussion. I've made a comment to one minor thing I've changed to see what others thought though, although it remains relatively trivial. Lradrama10:16, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Hello. Thanks for the message. Yes, the US schools do need doing too, but I'd run out of energy by the time I'd worked my way through the UK ones. Might be a couple missing there too - or did Webber Douglas merge with Central? I dunno, but they're categorised together now, so maybe. Don't know if you're active in the theatre project or not, but it'd be good to get your opinion on this if you have a spare moment - don't seem to be too many theatre people around at the moment. DionysosProteus22:48, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
You're welcome. Yes it looks like an interesting discussion and I've posted a comment, although I'll probably post more as things progress! I've joined the Wikiproject fully actually - it's one of three I'm involved in, so my time is getting increasingly divided! BTW, as yet I'm unsure about the Douglas school. I know Central kind of merged with the University of London, which means students can have accomodation and such like from that university, but I'm as yet unsure about the Douglas bit. It'll need research. I haven't found anything in Central's prospectus on that, but I'll probably need to have another thorough read through! Happy editing! Lradrama18:27, 18 September 2007 (UTC)
Barneca RfA spam
Thank you for participating in my RfA. I appreciate your taking the time to comment, and plan on learning from the experience and keeping the criticism in mind. If, in the future, you see me doing something that still concerns you, please let me know about it. --barneca (talk) 13:20, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for your participation in my RFA, which closed successfully with 83 supports, 1 oppose, and 0 neutrals. No matter if you voted (I mean, "!voted") support or oppose, I thank you for taking the time to drop by. I'm new, remember, so if you have any suggestions feel free to inform me of them, and if I do anything wrong, feel free to add to the permanent chorus of disapproval on my talk page. Special thanks to WaltonOne and DihydrogenMonoxide for nominating me.
Thank you for your participation in my RfA, which closed successfully with unanimous support. I appreciate you taking the time to stop by and vote and I can't wait to learn the new tools and further immerse myself into Wikipedia! Please don't hesitate to point out any errors I make so I can prevent them from occurring again. I'm always here to help, so if you ever need anything, just let me know. Also, thanks to Wizardman for nominating me and for guiding many other editors to become admins. Again, thank you and happy editing! --Nehrams202007:12, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Happy Lradrama's day!
Lradrama has been identified as an Awesome Wikipedian,
and therefore, I've officially declared today as Lradrama's day!
For being such a beautiful person and great Wikipedian,
enjoy being the Star of the day, dear Lradrama!
Wow!! Thankyou so very much. That is the best thing that has ever happened to me on Wikipedia! You are so very kind, it means such a lot. Thankyou very, very much! :'-) Lradrama17:08, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
My dear Lra, what's best than letting you know, through this very humble recognition, that all your excellent work and your postive, kind attitude make you a great asset to our project? Maybe, only adding a personal note: that talking to you was long overdue, my friend; and you reminded me of my fault in not dropping by and visiting you before, with your kind and beautiful gesture to me. I'm joyed that this modest gift has made your day at least a little better, for a wonderful person like you deserves all the happiness we can give you. Sweetie, please, make sure to check your mail as well later, because there's more I'd like to tell you! :) Love, Phaedriel - 06:39, 25 September 2007 (UTC)

Dear Lradrama,
Thank you for your participation in my Request for Adminship, which ended succesfully with 26 supports, 3 opposes and 1 neutral. A special thanks goes to Rlevse for nominating me. I appreciate all the support and constructive criticism offered in my RfA. Please do not hesitate to point out any errors I will make (unintentionally of course), so I won't make them again. Please contact me if you need anything done, that's what I'm here for! — Edokter • Talk • 12:51, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for your support in my Request for Adminship, which passed with 50 supports, 1 neutral, and 1 oppose. My goal is to keep earning your trust every time I grab the "mop". (And I'm always open to constructive criticism and advice!) Again, thanks. --Fabrictramp16:48, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
Oh I see! Yes, I reverted vandalism on your page a few months back, so no wonder I forgot I'd done it! OK, no worries at all my friend! Happy editing. BTW, you're very welcome! Lradrama16:36, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, Archive 3! Thank you for voicing your opinion in my RfA, which passed today with a unanimous 79/0/0 tally. It feels great to be appreciated, and I will try my best to meet everyone's expectations. If you have any advice or tips, feel free to pass them along, as I am sure that I will need them! Cheers, hmwith talk21:37, 1 October 2007 (UTC)
I would like to thank you for your participation in my successful RfA, which passed with a tally of (44/10/5)[1]. Whether you supported, opposed or were neutral in my RfA, I appreciate your participation and I hope that we can continue to work together to build a stronger and better Wikipedia.
Hey, Lradrama. Thanks for replying to my comment at Samulili's RfA. In retrospect, I wish that I had worded my comment less dramatically. At any rate, I wanted to post here to thank you for engaging in discussion! I am of the opinion that RfA too closely resembles a vote and also that such a system is not a good thing. Anyways, I enjoy discussion on RfA's whenever one arises, so thanks for discussing! --Iamunknown05:36, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
You're very welcome! Yes, I hate it when people leave discussion points and don't participate, so I was happy to share my views. Don't worry about the wording, we all do it like that, and go on to endure the afterthought! Do you have any views on what RfA should be like? A sort of test maybe rather than a cummunity vote? Cheers, Lradrama19:14, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
Is a vandalism warning really justified here? The user removed their own question a few minutes after posting it, and moved it to a different Village pump page. The edit summary may have been incorrect, but a vandalism warning seems kind of bitey to me. --Onorem♠Dil16:50, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
On recent changes patrol, one often goes rather fast and mistakes are common unfortunately. From what I saw, this IP undid a revision by a Bot which signed an unsigned comment, and that is usually considered vandalism by some people. It appears you looked into the situation deeper than I did. :-) Lradrama16:52, 5 October 2007 (UTC)
To Lradrama or anyone else you can help,
I am the accused. Is it ok, that I post this here? This response is not an attempt at vandalizing your site. I'm sorry if I've done something wrong. I have no idea what I did wrong. I had a question that I was hoping to have answered. If I was unfairly accused then I expect an apology. If I have done something wrong then please clarify. Thank you.
Hello and thankyou for not being abusive or anything and offering to discuss the matter politely. I respect you very much for that. You did nothing wrong. It was my mistake. I thought because you removed a comment from the Village Pump you were a vandal deleting posts. I thus reverted it. I should've looked into it more because it appears it was your own post that you movd to a better place, am I correct? Sorry about that. Lradrama16:19, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
You know, I don't remember. I remember doing that somewhere, but am not sure if that was the place. Where was the original that you found deleted? 69.177.178.10522:21, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Well that was what I gathered because the message you deleted was your own. That's fine. So I assumed you moved it somewhere else or thought better of it or something like that. No worries, it isn't something to worry about. Happy editing! :-) Lradrama16:15, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
Hey there! OneCoolKid has loved you by placing a heart icon in the top-right corner of your userpage. Don't worry, it's not vandalism, but simply a small way to spread the WikiLove. If you don't really like it, feel free to revert it and make it go away, and no hard feelings; after all, it's just a small token of appreciation. If you like it, just add your name here, but again, there's no need to feel upset if you don't. Love and best wishes, OneCoolKid14:08, 6 October 2007 (UTC)
I am sorry you felt it necessary to oppose my recent RfA, which did not succeed. I will attempt to get more experience in the main namespace and the Wikipedia namespace and will try again for RfA in two month's time. I hope I will have satisfied your concerns by then, but if not, please comment as you feel you should. You also voiced concerns about how my bot was so great but I didn't have that many edits. While this is true, if I had taken the time I put into my bot and put it into other areas of Wikipedia, I would have more edits which would put me up around that of other administrators passing RfA. My bot has over 40k edits, which, due to the nature of bots, could be considered mine. Thanks for participating in my RfA. -- Cobi(t|c|b|cn)07:24, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Don't worry, I'm sure you'll be a very successful administrator before long. I'm sorry if you were left feeling down by what I voted, I really am. Just address the issues that were left on your RfA by the participants and you will be successful. Happy editing. Lradrama17:15, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

My dear Wikipedian Lradrama,
Thank you for your participation in my RFA, which closed successfully with 36 supports, 3 opposed, and 1 neutral. No matter if you !voted support, oppose, neutral, or even if you just stopped by to make a comment, I thank you for taking the time to drop by. Since I am a new admin, if you have any suggestions or concerns, feel free to inform me of them. Thank you and good day.
This end the usual RFA thanks spam. You may return to your regular editing now.
Congratulations. I'm very glad to see that you were successful. Keep up the excellent work that got you into the position! Happy editing! :-) Lradrama20:37, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
Don't worry - I don't think anyone is thinking badly of you! Part of the nature of Wikipedia is that people contribute as and when they can, and often go AWOL for a while. It's not a job, after all. Do let me know when you want help or advice - I tend not to be very organised, so I can need reminding! Cheers. 4u1e17:24, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
Thankyou! It's just that you get into doing different things here and there and as a result, one's attention gets diverted. When I get some breathing space, I'll be back at that article, no worries. Many thanks, Lradrama09:08, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
For your contribution to My RfA, which passed with 8000 Supports, 2 Neutrals and no opposes.
The standards and dedication of the English Wikipeidan Administrators is excellent and I am privileged to stand among them. Thankyou for putting you trust in me, I'll not see it abused. And now, I will dance naked around a fire. Party at my place! Cheers! Dfrg.msc 09:06, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

Censorship
I would appreciate it if you didn’t take it upon yourself to decide what Jimbo can’t be allowed to read. As you can see, Swatjester himself put my alert back in as well as his thoughful response). I had to resort to e-mail Jimbo a link to the discussion page history to ensure he gets the information. I’m curious now, did Jimbo ask you to do this service for him or did you just undertake that by yourself? Greg L (my talk)18:57, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Greg, I think you're misreading something. Your comments weren't removed. Some random vandal's comments were removed (a regular practice on Jimbo's talk page). ⇒SWATJesterDenny Crane.23:28, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
Weird. It must have been some sort of database update conflict or something. I swear it was gone when I checked back. Anyway, it’s gone now as I have deleted the whole damn thing. I didn't think you would object to my deleting your response. Cheers. Greg L (my talk)00:29, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
THIS is the comment I removed. Honestly, I would not removed comments that were not blatant vandalism like this. Cheers, and happy editing.Lradrama09:23, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
I think the database was lagging behind a bit when he checked the diff. It's happened before to me. Thankfully most of the rollback tools, twinkle or otherwise, prevent this. 13:56, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
P.S. I think I saw another occurrence of a discussion topic disappearing. If I start to scroll before the page has fully loaded, it seems to abort the rest of the download. I'm not sure; in this latest case, when I let go of the mouse, the page fully loaded. Regardless, the history file clearly shows that your edit was most proper and had nothing to do with what I wrote. I am terribly sorry for inconveniencing you. Greg L (my talk)03:08, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
That's fine, no worries at all, it wasn't an inconvenience, trust me! Don't worry about it! Thankyou for understanding, with regards, Lradrama15:31, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
Welcome!
Hi Lradrama,
I guess me making a small error (why I had to edit a page a 2nd time) triggered you to create my discussion page with the "Welcome!" message. Actually I'm having the account for some time and - while I know your intentions to place it there are good - it feels kind of weird to me to get this copy&paste message. Just wanted to inform you. --Mpeylo20:36, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
I was only being friendly when providing you with the welcome message, I wasn't patronising you in any fashion. Most users, including myself, get a nice welcoming message such as this when we first start out, and I make it common practice to distribute them to newer users, or those who haven't been talked to by anyone yet. That's all. It's just a nice welcome into the community, with some helpful tips on how to become a great 'Wikipedian'. :-) Lradrama15:29, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
Many thanks for the barnstar, it was much appreciated and put a smile on my face after a busy day at work. When you get something like that, it strives you on to do even more for the project. Thank you again, and hope to see you around. Ryan Postlethwaite19:07, 20 October 2007 (UTC)
