Cascade tunnelYour .svg update needs a slight mod. The tracks should line up with the bottom of the blue tunnel, and not the middle. Also, see Ruling gradient for a second .jpg needing change to .svg. The original tunnel was not properly designed as it had too steep a grade for fume-producing steam trains causing fumes to suffocate the tunnel. The tunnel should have been made with only a gentle gradient, with the steep gradient left out in the open where the fumes could blow away. The tunnel designer, Stevens, went on to build the first half of the Panama Canal when he resigned suddenly without giving a reason. Stephens was an expert at building railways, yet he had made a big mistake with the Cascade tunnel, namely its fume problem. He must have realised that he was not infallible. Stevens was not an expert at building canal locks, and - it is suggested -- resigned from the Panama Canal because he getting "out of his depth" at the lock building stage. Theodore Roosevelt was furious. Stevens got out while he was on top. Tabletop (talk) 02:40, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

Not link monitoring, sorryI was just on newpage patrol, and it caught my eye because of Odilon Redon, who is one of my favorite (if weeeeeeeeeeeird) artists. When I came across the parfact article, the magazine feature aroused my suspicion as it seemed just too convenient for an article which read as if it was mostly original research, particularly as the article's author knew for certain (how?) that there were no other printed references to it. I wonder if you would like to contribute? --Rogerb67 (talk) 22:34, 18 March 2009 (UTC) Fan artwork really isn't appropriate for inclusion in a Wikipedia article. I know it's frustrating because we don't have alot of media for the Wheel of Time series to add to the articles, but adding fan art as you did to Moiraine Damodred just lowers our credibility. If you feel a mighty need for an image, perhaps a scan of the image from the guide or a cropping of the cover image from TEotW would do the trick. Nutiketaiel (talk) 19:49, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
List of Indian satellitesOn the contrary, the tag is valid. Even articles on NASA subjects are required to have additional sources than just from NASA. Using only sources from the organization being written about is not appropriate and the primary sources tag is meant for all articles, not just certain types of articles. From WP:PRIMARY, "Wikipedia articles should rely mainly on published reliable secondary sources and, to a lesser extent, on tertiary sources. All interpretive claims, analyses, or synthetic claims about primary sources must be referenced to a secondary source, rather than original analysis of the primary-source material by Wikipedia editors." -MBK004 00:48, 29 November 2009 (UTC) Hey, would you mind taking a look at the comment I made on this AfD? PsidsiPsidsi had created an article called Geo metro truck, which I tagged for a host of issues. The problem is that Psidi will not stop extensively removing the tags. I have given him warnings: [1] [2] He still refuses to stop. Should the article simply be deleted? Should any action be taken against the user? Is he allowed to remove tags in the way that he is? I can't assume good faith any longer, because I had offered help and warned the user. He ignored both. --Delta1989 (talk/contributions) 14:19, 6 December 2009 (UTC)
