Happy Wiki-ing. -- John Fader 18:43, 3 Mar 2005 (UTC) No ProblemThere seem to be lot of jerks on here, us non-jerks have to stick together :-) Just H 04:14, 19 December 2006 (UTC) Shiny DiamondsIt looks like the main problem that The Shiny Diamonds controversy article has at this point is with WP:NOTABLE. I would suggest reading that guideline if you haven't already. I'm still fairly new to these sorts of procedures, but if you can cite some verifiable sources on this controversy, and mention them in the discussion, it should be enough to persuade an administrator to keep this article. I would add anything you can find on this. The more sources, the better. I can help add sources to the article if you know of any. I was mainly interested in keeping the article because it appeared to involve a Wikipedia controversy. Deleting it could have given the appearance of trying to sweep it under the rug. I wanted to wait it out to see if more developed. It looks like that isn't enough of a reason to keep something around which doesn't demonstrate notability. If you can find more media reports, that should be enough to show notability and keep the article in place. If the article gets deleted, and more stories come out later, you can request to have the article un-deleted (see WP:UNDEL). I am not completely familiar with that process, but I'll look into it if it comes up. Just let me know. Good luck. Don't get discouraged if the article gets deleted and don't take anything that is said in the AfD process personally. It's not about you. - Justin (Authalic) 04:48, 19 December 2006 (UTC) Little context in Image:Man masturbates.jpgHello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Image:Man masturbates.jpg, by N (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Image:Man masturbates.jpg is very short providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia by creating the page Practice wiki. Your comments would be welcome there. Alzarian16 (talk) 17:37, 1 October 2011 (UTC) Speedy deletion nomination of David L Wiltshire
A tag has been placed on David L Wiltshire, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information. If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Accordingly I have had to delete your article as it is not up to the standard. Please read the guidelines to find out more. To be on the safe side, please also read Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.
