Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Future of the Royal Navy, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sea Wolf. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
In September 2011 you added information to an entry 'Morda Tramway' citing some Shropshire County Council local studies document. I am trying to locate copies of that document and wonder where you found it. Hope you can help.

I found it using Google :-) - and it's on archive.org, so I've added some links. Incidentally, if it was you that removed dead links, it's generally better to leave them in - even if they're dead, it gives an idea of where the information came from originally, and it gives other people the chance to track down archived versions of the page. I would like to use your USS Freedom picture for a conference. Is there any kind of copyright that will not let me reuse it or can I display it freely?
I'm not sure which picture you're talking about, but if you click on it once or twice you'll end up on a page which has all the details of the licence below the photo itself - Wiki is very explicit on such things. If it's on Wikimedia Commons then it will be under some kind of Creative Commons licence, given the subject it's almost certainly a file photo from the US Navy in which case it's the work of a US federal employee and hence effectively public domain. Sortkeys for eponymous categories
Hey Le Deluge, per WP:EPON and WP:SORTKEY, the sortkey for key articles should be a space, not an asterisk (asterisks are more commonly used for lists). Thanks for all your diligent work on categories! Ibadibam (talk) 20:49, 25 March 2015 (UTC)
Categorisation
Hello Le Deluge, you and I could work together to make it less frustrating for you as you categorize what is being created. As far as universities in Uganda, there are about 40 of them, about 8 are public and the rest are private. See List of university leaders in Uganda. Each university will need a Category for its alumni and another category for its academics. For the last 100 years or so Uganda has had one university Makerere University, created in 1922. The majority of the new ones were created after 2000. Many of them do not have notable alumni or academics yet, so the categories will remain empty for now. Let me know how I can help. Thank you. I must say I was surprised to see it was so many! And thankyou for the background on a subject I freely admit I know nothing about, I just saw a number of your categories appearing in Wikipedia:Database reports/Uncategorized categories. I'm not expecting to create any new academics categories other than those that are needed by new articles, but it would be helpful if you at least added Category:Academics by university in Uganda to those academics categories. That keeps them off my radar at least!! <g> From what you are saying, that's probably enough for the private universities, but perhaps add "people" and "university" categories for any academic categories you create for public universities? Keep up the good work anyway. Le Deluge (talk) 00:13, 26 March 2015 (UTC)
