I am trying to fight the creeping influence of "Chinese" sounding Manchu names, whereby the clan name is placed before the given name as if it is a surname. In reality those of the same clan does not necessarily belong to the same family, all it speaks to is their tribal lineage. Of course there are some exceptions like the prolific poet Nalan Xingde who has become commonly known under that name, but for the vast majority of cases, it is best to maintain one name as a rule of thumb. Do you agree? Colipon+(Talk) 12:57, 8 July 2016 (UTC)
traditional Chinese charactersHi, we ran into each other when editing several articles related to the Journey to the West. I would like to ask for your help in identifying a (one) traditional Chinese character on a photo. (Sorry to bother you.) If you are willing to do this, please send me an email or let me know and I send you one. Thanks, WikiHannibal (talk) 14:26, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
