Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 00:01, 4 February 2016 (UTC) DYK for Insert Name HereLaunchballer, I've just deleted the notification that was here because it was posted in error—the admin who pulled the hook from queue neglected to also pull the DYKmake template. I've also pulled the notification from the article's talk page. There has been a review at the nomination's template, with significant reservations expressed. You'll want to go there as soon as you can. Thanks, and apologies for the erroneous posting. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:51, 10 February 2016 (UTC)

Bryony KimmingsHello Lunchballer: The copy edit you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Bryony Kimmings has been completed. I leave it to others whether or not it should be the subject of a deletion discussion. You will notice that I archived one of the article’s citations (#1). If you want to be bothered, I suggest that you archive the rest of the article’s URLs as time allows. This ensures that the article's references are available "forever" and that it doesn’t develop “dead links” over time. The site I use is https://archive.org/web/. Simply copy the URL in the citation and paste it in the “Save Page Now” box on the archive.org site and click save. This creates a copy of the original page and provides you with a new URL to add to the original citation. If you look at the URL I've archived you'll see the syntax. You add the new URL to the end of the original citation like this: |archiveurl=http etc|archivedate=18 June 2016}}. Not all websites allow archiving - CBS TV news and the NY Times are two I've come across, so there's not much you can do about that unless there is an alternate citation you could use. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Kind regards, Twofingered Typist (talk) 20:07, 18 June 2016 (UTC)

Say I wanted to talk to you about the use of Discogs and get some advice. I've been running into situations where I need information off an actual album and don't happen to own it or have access to it--it's usually either for songwriters' credits or for record company information. I've been using Discogs as a source for this if I can't find it anywhere else because most of the time the info on Discogs is repeated off of an album, oftentimes verbatim. I would like to keep using Discogs for info on the actual LP if I could as a last resort because it is easy for people to check. That said, if you have any other ideas or better ways to source this (maybe there is a way to source the album cover itself?) I would be happy to do those instead. For the time being I reverted the edit because otherwise some of the info is unsourced but please let me know what suggestions you have. Keyboard warrior killer (talk) 16:09, 23 June 2016 (UTC)

Thus, the information on wins and such like has no proper notability whatsoever, especially as the show is more about improve comedy and stand-up than a serious competition. The article is fine if only to list the guest performers for an episode in a series. GUtt01 (talk) 16:30, 19 August 2016 (UTC) @Launchballer: Man... Why did I revert that guy's revisions? I apologise for acting the way that I did, but he is basically stating that there should be consensus on this, yet I don't know what this would achieve. Your name reminded me of something. Although three years ago, I feel that this thread showed evasiveness, unresponsiveness, and a lack of fair dealing that would be completely unacceptable by an admin. If it was some emotional outburst three years ago, that would be fine. But you were a 17-year-old grown up then and had been at Wikipedia for four years. To me, this is a character issue that three years on a calendar is not likely to have changed. About Fulham, naming and advertisingHello Launchballer, I agree that the Fulham article contained a lot of opinion and advertising. I have done my best to remove it. I do think, however, that to erase the Harwood Arms PH completely is harsh. It is a pleasant venue at the end of a particularly pleasing street, Walham Grove - incidentally the only memorial to the village of Walham Green, on which the parish and indeed Fulham is based and which gave its name to the tube station before it was renamed - and I think it and the Maltster at the other end, both deserve inclusion, with only historical detail. They are late 19th-century taverns. Kind regards, --Po Kadzieli (talk) 21:07, 5 October 2016 (UTC)

Hallo, Just letting you know that I have proposed that Steve Hewlett be moved to Steve Hewlett (ventriloquist) so that the newly-created (but long overdue) article on the broadcaster and journalist Steve Hewlett (journalist) can be moved to the base name title. There was a redirect from the name to his show The Media Show for five years before you created the ventriloquist's article. The discussion is at Talk:Steve Hewlett (journalist); banners announcing the proposed changes have been added to both articles automatically. I hope you will agree that the editor of Panorama during the time of the 1995 Diana interview, host of a popular radio show, and currently the subject of a series of broadcast interviews and newspaper columns about his forthcoming death, is the Primary Topic for the name. Thanks. PamD 17:37, 7 February 2017 (UTC) The Signpost: 27 February 2017
