No, that tag is for where there are references but no inline citations, which isn't the case here. It is not childish; let me explain. Wikipedia works on the principle of verifiability; it should be easy to look at an article and go "here is where they got their facts from". If you have no references but choose to put something in external links, how does that help? Are users expected to make the jump that external link = source, something that would be unacceptable in any other article (but particularly in BLPs)? Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to The Poseidon Adventure (2005 film), without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary.
