@Danny5784, I've done a quick search and there are not enough sources to use to create this article. I fear it will not be possible, at this time, to get it published.
All information needs to have a corresponding source with it.
There need to be sources that are focused on the Westwood Garage and not just mentioning it once. You can add more sources and resubmit it and another reviewer will take a look. Ktkvtsh (talk) 16:49, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I could find some links for Westwood Garage from other websites. But do you think those will work? I mean, if you have seen the Kearny Point Article, it has 5 sources and those are useful because 1. It has Kearny Point’s routes. Danny5784 (talk) 20:42, 5 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
This was my first article submission and I put in work researching, citing sources, including official independent links. This is an upcoming francise that recently was optioned for a TV show and I was proud of being a part of the Wikipedia community. Now it seems someone recreated the same article and was accepted instead.
You know I volunteered my time just for the chance to know that I made a contribution. Editors don't really get paid or even really get recognition, it's just the satisfaction knowing I made a contribution. But seeing this is terribly hurtful. It's unfortunate that beginners can't get a chance to be established in the wikipedia community like this. Dashthirtydash (talk) 20:34, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
@Dashthirtydash it is absolutely understandable to feel down. You aren't alone. There are usually multiple drafts for one article being worked on. I'd recommend going to the now published page and seeing how you can help improve it and make a contribution there. Instead of letting it bring you down, lift yourself up and continue working hard. Draft wording for RfC call to action
"A request for comment regarding the future of WikiProject Eurovision is currently ongoing. A proposal by Sims2aholic8 has been opened for comment, and a discussion is now taking place to determine consensus on whether WikiProject Eurovision should be rescoped and renamed WikiProject Song Contests. You are invited to read the proposed changes to the WikiProject at the discussion page and to participate by voting on the proposed changes and adding any comments or further proposals. This discussion will remain open until 31 January 2025, at which point, if consensus has been reached, further discussions will take place on the exact changes agreed." @Grk1011: pinging you to see if you have any comments on the above wording as well.
