Cricket! My Grandad used to take me to watch cricket at Headinley when I was little. Every time I hear/see anything to do with Yorkshire cricket, it reminds me of him. Nice memories. If I could be bothered, I would actually watch some baseball, or rounders as it should be called. It was the only game (that girls were allowed to play) at school that I really enjoyed.
Ah! Those were the days! Tennis-ball rounders... (I once smashed a classroom window... dead centre, perfect circle! (Smashed Pane stopped play...). So perfect that the whole school admired it (and me). Never got any academic recognition, but that pane was the highlight of my school years... the kids were talking about it for days! That and the fact that I din't get into trouble for it!) BTW, our mixed primary school was cool; boys got to play netball! (Didn't have new-fangled inventions like basketball in them days.) We still didn't have a girls football team by the time I left. The Catholic school I attended was mixed but was quite traditional. We used to play footy at break times but it wasn't included in the curriculum. Things have moved on fortunately.
The only thing I destroyed at school was my glasses. Awful NHS glasses that I used to get bullied about. I 'accidentally' left them on the school field when it was grass cutting day. My mum was fuming. Knitsey (talk) 11:52, 24 September 2023 (UTC)

And before you write me off as a wimp, I'd just like to point out, in passing, that I used to be pretty street-wise (Ol' Lunnon Town), trained with special forces (we all have a past...) and have developed a thick skin and a pretty high pain threshold. Of course, none of that prepared me for life in the real world... let alone a mother-in-law. Whole new ballgame. No rules... anything goes. When I was 20 or 21, I went on holiday to Greece with a boyfriend. His parents were already out there on holiday. When we got there, his mum took all our money from us both for 'safe keeping'. To whom it may concern. I have come to a discovery by error. The famous logdrum used on Amapiano genre seems to jabe been used by Mdu Masilela on a song Oksalayo Siyajola. I uploaded this song while testing the stem separation with the new Fl studio update beta. So I managed to isolate drums, bass and vocals. To my surprise I discovered that a logdrum sound was used on this in the 1990's. There's also a free software called spitter that can be able to do this for those who might want to test my theory. However, there is sidechain that was used to remove the click on the logdrum when a kick and bass are playing together. Because in Kwaito music, a kick needed to be the louder and clearer sound. So the logdrum can be heard clearly when the kick mutes. I will like to hear the feedback from similar curious minds. Maybe this is nothing. Hello You have queried some changes I have tried to make to this page. Please check out the website and you can see what I am recording is correct and that the school has not closed. It has a different Unique School Number than the one incorrectly posted on the wikipedia page. If you visit https//get-information-schools.service.gov.uk you will see the school is open and is at Cherry Hinton Hall. It is for children aged 2-11. The confusion is that the senior school for children aged 11-16 has closed. The Unique number you need for the establishment is 146301 and the DFE number is 873/6056/Previous owners had changed the registration information but they are no longer involved in the school. I would like to continue to update the page as it is factually incorrect. I also need the address to change as it is Cherry Hinton Hall, Cherry Hinton Road, Cambridge, CB1 8DW. Yes, as I said his name is Novak Djokovic and it is absolutely factual. It has been admitted to on various Tennis shows. If he is interested in pretending his name is not Novak Djokovic then I think he should not receive protection just because he is an "athlete".

(2) Maybe it's not the most clever joke but the reason I changed Dimitrov's name to Djokovic was because I was trying to tell my friend that Djokovic was 32 and by changing Dimitrov's page I was able to get the information that shows up immediately on a google search to say that Djokovic was 32 to create some "evidence" as a joke, it's not like my friend didn't know Djokovic's age.

I reverted as AIV is backlogged so ot might be a while before anyone gets to it. I'm glad I've come across someone else that usually leaves it for blocking admins! I keep having a look as replies might get lost on my watchlist but yes, nothing. I'm a lottle disapointed. I know we shouldn't write it for them of course, but I thought a little help with formatting or referencing might help.
I do think they've chosen a difficult subject to expand. A female artist from that era that isn't as notable as some (mostly male) artists etc.
I'm in for surgery for a few days from tomorrow, but after I'm up and about again I might use it for a little project. My referencing is mostly for modern subjects that are much easier to source. Britain First Edits Removal
Hello Knitsey. I recently made some edits to the Britain First Wikipedia page regarding misinformation about the party status & ideology. I removed references to them being fascist as they themselves do not call themselves fascists & neither does official party material. The sources calling them fascists are opinion pieces & should not be used to justify removal of sensible edits. It is critically important to keep bias & misinformation out of politics & while Britain First has many questionable views, we must still represent them fairly. Wikipedia relies, for the most part, on what independent people write about a subject. There are a few exceptions to this.
In this case, Wikipedia relies on what WP:RS say about a subject, not what they say about themselves. For instance, when editing about something that the current government is involved in, Wikipedia uses reliable sources to assess how that information is presented, in a neutral way.
The Britian First article has plenty of references backing up what is written in the article. I hope this information helps. A group of women with MRKH Syndrome attempted to replace a degrading and sexualized image of a woman’s genitals from the page associated with their condition. You immediately put it right back up. Why would you do that? Do you think young girls with that diagnosis want to come to the Wikipedia page and see themselves presented as a woman with her legs spread, looking at her vagina? Did the woman even consent? There are plenty of more respectful and anatomically accurate diagrams that can be used. Right now, Wikipedia feels like exploitation and abuse to us right now. Personally, I am not concerned about whether the current picture stays or goes. What is not suiable for an article covered by WP:MEDRS is a picture of flowers in the shape of a pair of knickers. A nice pic and all that but it is not (in my opinion) suitable for an article about a serious medical condition in an encylopedia. Also there is a list with what is not encouraged in the picture. Says the opposite. That images for medical conditions shouldn't be very technical. Also no shock and sex content. Do you realize how shocking it is for my potential boyfriend to look up this article and see that horrible picture with poor woman that has no vagina?

Technical images: Highly technical images, such as of stained pathology slides, are appropriate for many articles. However, they are often not the most accessible images for the introduction. Consider placing simpler images in the lead and placing more technical images in a specific, relevant section with captions in plain English.

The image you are trying to add is not suitable or relevant to the article about a medical condition.
What I suggest is this. Make a post on the talk page of the article with your reasoning as to why you think the image should be removed, citing WP policy and anything you think might be relevant.
Responses might be slow as Wikipedians are volunteers from across the globe.

You also provided zero objective arguments on why exactly you are reverting the page to the state where it displays shocking and sexual content that is explicitly prohibited. You failed to provide an explicit rule that a new picture was allegedly violating. You based everything solely on your subjective judgment. This is not a right approach folks. Let's please remove an abusive picture of someone's vagina. Most likely that picture was taken without her consent. And MRKH community will add a new one that would be a better fit for a technical article. A compromise solution. The only reason there is an article about a game that is played by a load of over-privileged tw*ts, is because it's played by a load of over-privileged tw*ts. A game played by 1 school in the whole world.

DELETE! Someone else mentioned that looking forwards, I should think about it. Honestly, I would need to think long and hard about a few things, not least is my lack of new articles plus I'm not convinced article writing would be my forte. I have mild dyslexia which I found a little difficult to cope with when writing The Road Dance, although it was a more positive experience then I thought.
I'm also not sure I would have the patience that you need. I am constantly amazed by admins stamina for answering the same question over and over and for dealing with disputes.
I might think about it once I have another year or so under my belt.

I was only bludgeoning aka writing multiple comments in a row before I found out the policy exists like 10 hours ago. Afterwards I stopped and agreed with "rapper and actor". Also remember when I was editing for 7 hours straight to get that extended confirmed thing back, of course I care about wikipedia, I took a day of from work because I was editing, remember?And look at the "poetry Collection" section on the Tupac article, I added all that info, I had to remove some because I couldn't find sources, but I added a lot of good paragraphs in that section, in fact I created that section. Hi Knitsey, thank you for your rapid review. I'm trying to create an "artist page" on Wikipedia. I've never done this before, please help me do this the right way. The page doesn't have to be promotional, it's just supposed to be a biography. I'm a composer and have thousands of views on my latest song/video, and people are trying to find me but they're complaining because I don't have a wiki - but other artists do... so what is the right way to do this? Can you guide me please? I couldn't find anything specific about "artist pages" in the wiki links, and would appreciate it if you can guide me to such. I’ve already mentioned twice that Dany Garcia’s birthdate, November 29, 1968, is confirmed by sources outside of Wikipedia. If you check the Simple English Wikipedia, it lists the same birthdate without citations. The information is widely confirmed by external sources, so no citations are necessary for this well-established fact.
