But I think the decision of whether or not this is news, should have nothing to do with my personal view that individual US states are comparable with countries. After realising that the matter could have evolved in a useless discussion, I decided to request closing the nomination and thereby allow others to focus on the other nominations. @Smokefoot: The opening paragraph of the video guidelines on Wikimedia Commons contains a sentence saying "The preferred video format is WebM but the ogv container is also allowed.". Credits in Captions

Hello! First, let me say I fully support having videos in chemistry articles. However, per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Captions, when adding visual media to an article, do not credit the author or copyright holder in the captions. The appropriate credit should be on the image description page. As such, I've removed "Planned and performed by..." from the captions of many of the videos you've added; please omit that part from the captions of any videos you add in the future.
