User talk:Kiril Simeonovski/Archive 1Welcome!
September 2008You should wait for others to write an article about subjects in which you are personally involved, as you did at Kiril Simeonovski. This applies to articles about you, your achievements, your band, your business, your publications, your website, your relatives, and any other possible conflict of interest. Creating an article about yourself is strongly discouraged. If you create such an article, it might be listed on articles for deletion. Deletion is not certain, but many feel strongly that you should not start articles about yourself. This is because independent creation encourages independent validation of both significance and verifiability. All edits to articles must conform to Wikipedia:No original research, Wikipedia:Neutral point of view, and Wikipedia:Verifiability. If you are not "notable" under Wikipedia guidelines, creating an article about yourself may violate the policy that Wikipedia is not a personal webspace provider and would thus qualify for speedy deletion. If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later. (See Wikipedia:Wikipedians with articles.) Thank you. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media). If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. The change was discussed (here) and had consensus. Please assume good faith. If you are unable to do so, please refrain from further posting on my talk page. Thanks. Edit warringYou currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Vladimir Nabokov. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. Yworo (talk) 20:47, 26 November 2009 (UTC) Reply on Talk:John von Neumann. Yworo (talk) 08:21, 30 January 2010 (UTC) Macedonian WikipediaHi, David. We've already reached 40,000 articles, and it was mentioned on the talkpage of the tmplate. As I can see, nobody have seen it. Could you please, add a link in the tier in the right order? Best regards.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 14:06, 18 April 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for nominating that one. I learned much about him when I updated the article. ;-) --candle•wicke 00:03, 3 June 2010 (UTC) Re:Emmanuel LaskerAs you can see, very few people are listed simply as Soviet people and mostly because they don't' fit into any of the sub categories. Many present day Russian people who were Soviet citizens when that country existed are not listed as Soviet people, particularly if they do no fit into any of the Soviet people by occupation sub categories. And Lasker himself, despite attaining citizenship only stayed for a scant two years before leaving the country for good. Instead of reverting Category:Soviet people, how about inserting Category:German immigrants to the Soviet Union instead ? I will do that anyway and if you have any further objections please respond in my talk page. If you still think that Category:Soviet people should be re-inserted than feel free to do it without responding to my talk page. Thanks. Each of the four Israeli players was thus awarded a technical victory." needs a citation. Could you do it? --BorgQueen (talk) 16:37, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Interview at Wikimania 2011Hi Kiril. My name is Matthew Roth and I'm a Storyteller at the Wikimedia Foundation. We're exploring new ways to explain why Wikipedia is so special and we’ve started a Wikipedia Stories Project, where we’re chronicling the inspiring stories of the Wikipedia community, especially editors and active contributors in the movement like you. I'll be traveling to Wikimania next month to collect stories for our 2011 Fundraiser. While there I'd love the chance to meet with you and hear your thoughts about Wikipedia. We’ll have a schedule of available times for you to sign up if you’re interested, but right now, we’d like to make the initial contact to gauge your interest. Please let me know by emailing me at mroth@wikimedia.org or responding on my talk page. Thank you, Matthew (wmf) (talk) 23:55, 15 July 2011 (UTC) |
