 Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Tierney; tried re-uploading the picture, with more detail, tried adding 'official licence' text, and now added authorised 'permission' in my capacity as a Director of the University. This may not work. I am not be doing any of this properly, I feel at next wiki-thon will need training but also probably the University will have to consider how best to allow others to share materials onto Wiki Commons that are desired to be shared under such open licenses; give simple instructions for staff - or others to share onto Wiki (or just me?). Advice welcome

Hello and thank you for your advice, I am still learning! Can the article page just be removed from these categories rather than deleted altogether? If it is seen as too incomplete can it be moved 'back' into a DRAFT ARTICLE status instead. The notability of Scottish working class volunteers in the Spanish Civil War such as George Drever is referenced elsewhere and others can find more supporting materials, or I can when back in action (but not this coming 7 days however, due to other commitments). Help and advice is much appreciated. Other editors who have advised me can help steer?

The KenneysHi Kaybeesquared, I just finished a short article on Nell Kenney. I noticed that on many of the articles on the various Kenney sisters it is stated that there were 12 siblings. Hi WomanArtistUpdates The trusty Diane Atkinson ISBN 9781408844045 references that there were 11 children; so I have added citation and info about her mother's death to Nell Kenney and will edit key points into the others. Atkinson refers in her citations to the Annie Kenney 'Memories of a Militant" p9 as source for comment about their father's nursing care. Yes I noticed nothing about Nellie in Atkinson - and lo and behold, Sorry after being so sure, I have looked again at the list of Kenney Papers and it states at the start 12 siblings but does not name them all - we could write to UoEA or Atkinson to confirm this I guess. University of East Anglia archivist has answered - and referred to Source: The Kenney Family of Springhead by Geoffrey Woodhead. The confusion may be with Clara the youngest dying as a baby. I will edit into appropriate wiki-pages over the next few days! The Kenneys are: 1. Reginald 1873-1954 2. Mary 1874-1954 3. Sarah Ellen 1876- 1953 4. Alice Emily 1878-1927 5. Annie 1879-1953 6. I asked about this at the centre. They had a list of suffragettes but I think this is the one created years later which is well known. They had no idea about a list of hunger strikers or forcefed women. However! I fid discover this which is supplenental to the story about "Evaline Hilda Burkitt, first suffragette to be force fed, created by artist Helen Marshall". I have created a wikidata record for her. She appears to be the first! and we had no article. SpacingHi. Just here to give a bit of advice, no criticism intended. Firstly thank you for your edits. I'm not certain if it has been you but at least on one page you have been heavily editing there have been a lot of cases of using br in the main text. Br is used to force line breaks and is not generally used or intended for the main text but for the infobox and in certain list and table cases. Generally for the main text each paragraph should just use a single line break between each paragraph for consistency and uniformity. Page protectionHowdy hello! Thanks for asking for page protection for Alice Paul at WP:RFPP. I have declined your request, and just wanted to explain why :) Semi page protection is meant for pages experiencing high or persistent levels of vandalism, which Alice Paul just wasn't. All pages experience some vandalism, from the smallest to the largest. Its a side effect of the wiki-process. But we don't want to shut out valuable new editors. A large portion of constructive edits are still made by IP's and new users, so we try to use page protection as sparingly as possible. Generally, if a page has had much recent disruption (at least 3 vandalisms not all by the same user is a good rule of thumb, though not enshrined in policy) within the last day, or persistent disruption over a course of a week. Sometimes protection for disruption over a longer scale is warranted, but it needs to really be persistent and troublesome. Hopefully that helps explain our protection process a little better! Don't be afraid to submit pages for protection though if you think they need it, better safe than sorry, and an admin can always make the judgement call. 1) where there is use of given name ...to remove any use of first name except in full or in early years e.g. Jane did... which would not happen on notable male biography pages (IMHO) Wikipedia:Manual_of_Style/Biography#Subsequent_use 2) to remove use of gendered pronoun (see essay guides re writing about women, for men editors or authors tend to use surname more often) Wikipedia:Gender-neutral_language 3) to ensure each statement can stand alone for future editing in new material so the citations are not inadvertently covering a different statement(avoids 'who is she?' where there are different women being referred to in the article not key person.) Discussed with IanTheArchivist How to properly reference a concert programme as a source? See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jessie_M._Soga#cite_note-28 It was created on a 'journal' cite template but is there something better or a model for concert programmes? I tried searching help and style guides, looked at some singer's articles - if used they linked 'image of programme'? Is there a standard approach you would recommend as best practice?
