please bear with me ...Hello, i'm new to this whole wiki edit thing. I just got some message that i chaged a page and it was unconstructive. But i DO know about computers, and the IP address was the same as my external, but it was from Finland. This isn't right. SOmething's messed up. Could you look into it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.206.201.73 (talk) 01:20, 5 April 2008 (UTC) Username ChangeHi Katalaveno. Yes, User:ThePurpleMonkey had another username change... (thanks copyrights). I sent you a (snail mail) letter, and gave you a phone call, neither of which you have responded to. Anyways, I was just wondering if you wanted me to do the Tech for your production (Oliver, I believe). Again, hope everything is OK! Thank youReverted worong version of victoria cross.Pharaoh of the Wizards (talk) 01:13, 9 April 2008 (UTC) thank youthanks so much for reverting those personal attacks on my talk page, you beat me to it! Mister Senseless™ (Speak - Contributions) 00:41, 11 April 2008 (UTC) I saw that in the last half day you reverted vandalism by Jackmantas of the Eric Greif article. Curious, I checked back and saw no less than a dozen additional hack jobs. It appears that Jackmantas is a Single-purpose account created for only this seemingly malicious purpose of taking apart an article. I'm relatively new and figured you'd know what to do, if anything. Thank you. PositiveSpin (talk) 10:07, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
ns —Preceding unsigned comment added by ÞorsHammer (talk • contribs) 01:32, 15 April 2008 (UTC) There's little point to providing the diff now, as the matter has since been resolved. The problem was mischief apparently done by User:Scaldinghotsoup where the first two words of the third Paragraph, "In China" were replaced with a mis-spelled "China town". I tried to revert it, only to have my reversion reverted, but by the time I had completed the message about the bad edit, the problem had been resolved by other editors. MethylenedioxymethamphetamineThanks, please do. Too bad I had just finished composing a response to you. Kst447 (talk) 02:05, 15 April 2008 (UTC) ThanksIt's always good to meet folks here who understand that fully anonymous users aren't the enemy. KnowledgeOfSelf | talk 00:12, 22 April 2008 (UTC) thank spamRE: Your QuestionAdministrators have the ability to delete certain revisions from edit histories. The edits however are still viewable by other administrators and not permanently removed from the system. Oversighters have the ability to permanently remove the edits so they are viewable only to those with the oversight abilities.¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 21:18, 25 April 2008 (UTC) I agree with youIn relation to your admin views, i really do. Take a look at this user here, and you can see he was mocking the whole system. Im going to assume at that point all the admins were asleep, i guess there are only 1500. There was a backlog of about 9 reports at that time on the AIV. Its tough, we need more but we have to make sure they do the right thing because rogue admins are not good at all. I've seen some around, maybe they have lost the passion to do the admin stuff i dont know. I have seen you all the time putting your views on the RFA page, i think its great that members like you can put your say across. I dont really know how to improve the system, maybe thats something you can ask to someone in a higher position with experience and see what they say.
