A barnstar for you!
Pashtuns and religionHello there Kaizenfy, I had recently a pending edit on wikipedia with you about wiki/Pashtuns You have sent me a message to discuss this :) I just wanted to discuss and clarify this. Pashtuns are an eastern Iranian ethnic group located in Afghanistan and North western parts of Pakistan (along the border with Afghanistan) During the British Raj, Indian merchants came mostly to Kabul and other city for trade purposes see: Hew McLeod (1997). Sikhism. New York: Penguin Books. p. 251. ISBN 0-14-025260-6. Along with them also Hindus etc. This page that was used as a source to "clarify" the reason why Hindus should have been included in the religion section is not based on anything please see that newspaper page. Yes, Sikhs and Hindus in Afghanistan are Pashtunized but they are not ethnic Pashtuns. For example you cant count Asian into ethnic English in the UK but you call them British Asians etc etc. But by ethnicity, you cannot call the Sikhs and Hindus Pashtuns. They are Afghans (or Pakistani by nationality) but not ethnic Afghans/Pashtuns. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindki this page is about these "Pashtun" Hindus. They are called Hindki and are speaking Pashto outside but Hindko/Punjabi among themselves. Please read this page its very important. Chisholm, Hugh, ed. (1911). "Hindki" . Encyclopædia Britannica (11th ed.). Cambridge University Press. and A glossary of the tribes and castes of the Punjab and North-West provinces, compiled by H A Rose, vol II Page 333 Please see the "Hinduism in Afghanistan" page as well You can even go and travel to Afghanistan or western Pakistan and ask a hindu himself whether he is a native Punjabi/hindki haha. I hope you get my point. The only "Source" the person who made that change about Hinduism in Pashtuns was a random Hindu newspaper as you can see by yourself. thehindum/news/national/tattooed-blue-skinned-hindu-pushtuns-look-back-at-their-roots/article22645932 This is not a legit page to use as a source its not even sourced biased, not to be racist but even the surnames arent Pashtun. . Please look at the pages I gaven for more info ;) So in short these people are ethnic Hindki/Hindko (so they are an indo-aryan ethnic group part of the Punjabi people) and moved to the region. You can look it up. But the most clear and best source to use for my argument are found in this book Chisholm, Hugh (ed.). "Hindki". Encyclopædia Britannica (11th ed.). Cambridge University Press. which is sourced in this wiki page as well https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hindkowans Journal of Asian history, Volumes 35–36. O. Harrassowitz. 2001. Retrieved 2008-08-17. The real opposition to Pashto came, however, from the speakers of Hindko. A large number of Sikhs and Hindus, all speaking Hindko, lived in the cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and had a voice in the legislative assembly, this was often perceived as the non-Muslim opposition to Pashto. I am very open to discuss and hear your arguments if you have :) My apologies for not explaining much during the edit I made, I hope its now clear (my sources and my argument) Please change it to the change I made (deleting the hindu section) I do not have the power to do that. I have been visiting the Pashtun page for years and this so called info on religion is changed recently because I have never saw it in previous years. Feel free to message me man, more than welcome. Hey there Kaizenify, Thanks for your reply and your welcome message. Only there are some fellow wikipedia editiors that keep editing that section. Do you have any tips or hints for that of what I should do? Because I am not vandalizing or anything I just want to make sure the information is right. with proper references. Because that indian newspaper is not really a good source.. and its the only "source" supporting their claim. Casperti (talk) 16:30, 2 February 2019 (UTC)

I undid a revision you accepted at David OrtizYou accepted this revision at David Ortiz, but I undid it. It's not really appropriate for the lead, and it's all pretty much unsourced WP:OR narrative. ~ Amory (u • t • c) 15:58, 12 February 2019 (UTC)

Now everything is OK. Maybe you live other time zone. But on a part of the territory of Russia new day came. Information is relevant and correct. DraftI made a draft and would like to get it published--I think 2007 is the best (talk) 19:12, 20 February 2019 (UTC) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:GDPC Adenike Oladosu has been nominated for Did You KnowHello, Kaizenify. Adenike Oladosu, an article you either created or to which you significantly contributed, has been nominated to appear on Wikipedia's Main Page as part of Did you know. You can see the hook and the discussion here. You are welcome to participate! Thank you. EnterpriseyBot (talk!) 12:01, 30 January 2020 (UTC) I've reviewed the nomination. I suspect you know the subject, but the article is written in a sufficiently neutral way that it should be ok. In general, you shouldn't be writing about people you know as per WP:COI. What you could do is take a photo of the subject and upload it to Wikimedia Commons; the photo that is there has licensing problems and I have nominated it for deletion. --Rosiestep (talk) 19:32, 23 February 2020 (UTC) via MassMessaging New Davido ImageHi Kaizenify, The proverbial "can of worms"Greetings, Kaizenify! Tell me, please, is there a Yoruba expression similar to the English "can of worms" (not as bad as a Pandora's box, more a mess than actual evils)? Because when I did the page move on Peoples Democratic Party (Nigeria), I didn't realize how many pages were in the Category:People's Democratic Party (Nigeria) politicians (8 subcategories, 132 pages!) and numerous additional related categories. And moving a category seems to be beyond my user authorizations. Do you have experience with this? My gut feeling now is that the page move in EN WP was enough for now... I can make a further statement on the Talk page to clarify the reason for the two versions of the party's name. Your input would be valued! -- Deborahjay (talk) 12:16, 16 February 2021 (UTC) Radical approach to a new BLPHello again, Kaizenify. I have a tip to share, totally unofficial, about saving information in advance of writing a biography page. Create an item in Wikidata for the subject and start filling in content, including sources. It will be ready when you start drafting the page in whichever WP language project(s) you choose. I did this last month after reading a mainstream press interview with a new candidate in a small, veteran political party in my country, which is about to hold its fourth national elections in less than two years. She isn't notable yet in any language WP, but I'm hoping she will be. I recommend this approach to all the newer contributors I mentor. Let me know if it works for you, and if I might explain further. -- Deborahjay (talk) 12:57, 16 February 2021 (UTC) March 2021 at Women in Red

Short and sweet, but there's always more to discuss at WT:AFC. Stop on by, maybe review a draft on the way? Whether you're one of our top reviewers, or haven't reviewed in a while, I want to thank you for helping out in the past and in the future. Emmanuel Aluyor moved to draftspaceThanks for your contributions to Emmanuel Aluyor. Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because it needs more sources to establish notability and does not pass WP:NPROF. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while. Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. UtherSRG (talk) 12:51, 21 February 2024 (UTC)

It seems as if the sources I found are the only ones available. I hope you saw the comment I made on my talk page too, I just don't know how to go about this. The one consistent news outlet in the village where the organization is based has only left their news on Facebook. Please, how do I go about this? KeroEsho (talk) 10:23, 25 February 2024 (UTC)
