Quotations

Hi I would like to discuss our misunderstanding here. I don't want to debate out different vision about some historical problems, but only one technical issue - about the quality of the quotations. I don't think that you suggestion - to point only the book, helps us to provide reliable source, which can be verified. Maybe I am wrong, byt I am wondering how the readers can verify the source if there aren't the concrete pages? To read the whole books? And if they can not find such statement? Okay, I will explain this as simply as possible. You cannot change the existing reference tags into fact tags because that is blanking, which is considered vandalism (see Wikipedia:Vandalism). Thank you about explanations! I am sure that you know what is vandalism ("...any addition, removal, or change of content made in a deliberate attempt to compromise the integrity of Wikipedia...Any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia, even if misguided or ill-considered, is not vandalism). I hope you understood that in the most of the cases I don't ask additional sources (of course, if there are such reliable sources, the argue will stop), but I want to improve these sources. Therefore I'll put one of the templates. It can work in many of cases, but what you can suggest about this (Резолюция о македонской нации (принятой Балканском секретариате Коминтерна" - Февраль 1934 г, Москва) source? It's my turn to explain as simply as possible - As I explained in this case we have only one Historical document (primary source)- without ussue (some book,for instance), with probably wrong month (The Resolution is from January 1934, as I know). What kind of template I can use to explain that this concrete "source" actually is not a source, that there is something wrong with this "reference tag" ? I know what you mean. I personally think that foreign-language sources should give a brief translation of the passage used (as I explained here). Regardless of whether a source seems rather artificial, you mustn't remove it. What you can do is place that template like I suggested and if no one adds a reliable source to the section after a certain length of time, you can bring it to the attention of an administrator or request a community discussion on whether that particular information can be removed. OK, I added a template. Now everybody can see that the numbers of the pages missing avd evetually provide them. However how the reader can understand that this concrete (Resolution in Russian) refference did not provide reliable source? Why are you changing Tose Proeski page??? Didn't you see thge aromanian songs and that text about his parents???? His birth name was tudor.. clearly aromanian. I don't make the rules, I just enforce them. Wikipedia says you can't use Bebo-style websites and YouTube videos as sources. So unless a reliable source says he is Aromanian, what you say about his language is only circumstantial. Köbra | Könverse 16:03, 25 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Are you admin??? Ok, if the language is not enough then what do you say about his name? Tudor Proja. This is an aromanian name. He said his grandfather's name was Proja. Is this enough? What do you want more. His language, his name...And another question. Are you macedonian?

For it to be reliable, it should be written by a scholar or it should come from an interview or something of that sort (see Wikipedia:Reliable sources). How ironic that Revizionist would ask you — another biased Macedonian (hinting your edit-warring and harassment), who is only as literate in English as he himself is — to voice an opinion on the matter. The fact of the matter is, I have provided many valid argmunets as to why I reverted him and it seems now that he is running out of lame ideas to keep his pictures of shit-stained monuments on the article. About the images

Yes, you are right, images make an article ugly if put "...onto a page with relatively little text.", but the article National Liberation War of Macedonia, is not an article with relatively little text, so your argument is negligible. I am sorry that you feel that mediation is not helping that situation, but I would like to point out that mediation is about fostering communication between two or more parties, in an attempt to reach consensus, so you cannot expect the WP:MEDCAB to solve the problem in as little as a day or two. Out of curiosity

Why, in your opinion, does a minority of the Makedonce sports fans use the Vergina symbol? I mean, this symbol is younger than they are, lasted only a couple of years and is pretty ugly - but in this respect there is no accounting for taste :-( Politis (talk) 13:08, 23 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
