User talk:JunheeDSome bubble tea for you!
some remarks concerning your sandboxhai JunheeD, sorry, I can't remember your real name. You've done a very good job until now in your sandbox! This is the kind of contributions that Wikipedia needs to become an encyclopaedia that really summarizes all knowledge on our planet! Thank you, so far. As you perhaps know, Wikipedia fully depends on voluntary contributions, as far as the content is concerned. So your help is really welcome. I think I would name the page Observations in the Orient. That's a unique name. It's not necessary to make it any longer. I saw that you already uploaded a better version of the original cover! I added some info etc. in commons: c:Category:Observations in the Orient (Walsh, 1919). I also did already upload a good quality version of the "map": c:File:ObservationsOrientWalsh1919_Map.jpg May I suggest that you start the article with: template:infobox book, the infobox on the right (compare for instance An Authentic Account of an Embassy from the King of Great Britain to the Emperor of China). concerning the section Bibliographic: You could perhaps start with a short overview of bibliographic info, using template:cite book, like this:
When you use the ref=harv parameter, you can easily link to the book on other places in the text by using the template:sfn or another template, like template:harv. Like this.[2] You might use this with other sources as well, perhaps..... By the way: do you have a special interest in the Catholic Mission, or was it just that the book came on your way? Isn't it a marvellous idea to import the book in Wikisource, and make a complete transcription of it? I can help you with the "technical" stuff if you wish, and of course I can help you with proofreading etc. as well! I already started s:en:Author:James Anthony Walsh. There is already one (short) text of Walsh in WS: s:en:Catholic Encyclopedia (1913)/Bl. Théophane Vénard. Walsh is still a bit "young". Mostly we work on 19th century texts, or early 20th century. Apart from this, the article on James Anthony Walsh also needs a bit of attention! Wikipedia…. a never ending job……. Greetings, --Dick Bos (talk) 09:42, 4 June 2019 (UTC) notes
