I'm pretty sure the first appearance dates are included in the infobox. I know I always include them. It's usually the last appearance dates that get commented out until a character departs. Hope you're well, Mario. :) - JuneGloomTalk20:42, 19 December 2011 (UTC)

It's the new soaps section... So I kind of didn't realise Demand 5 only keep their episodes of certain things for a week. As their soaps are available for a while, I assumed... and behold there is now one episode left. :/ They also blocked the series by external uploaders on YT... GAH! I am trying to get you the Dial A Kyle one though.Rainthe 118:44, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Oh, really? I thought they would be there for longer too. Perhaps we'll find them somewhere else soon. ;) Can I help with the Participants section at the WikiProject? I could remove the blocked users and the sockpuppets. Then you can start dividing the active and inactive participants up. - JuneGloomTalk19:49, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Yes, please do. You have a better eye for these things. I've got use the top 7 moments saved btw, figured out how to get around the Channel 5's country stopper thingy.. lolRainthe 119:56, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
Got 11 of them now... Right - Am I chasing the trivial again by included this as reception for Jade Sutherland - the "You couldn't make it up" part?Rainthe 121:37, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
That'll work still... I cannot word it though, will you write out what you'd put please? (Something like Sunday Mercury said the plot was daft/silly/unrealitic because "You couldn't make it up"? I'm not very creative today.Rainthe 122:26, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
I'm quite intrigued as to why Sophie goes mental. Hopefully her new love interest will be better than the last one. Ooh, something I keep forgetting to mention is the Braxtons. I think there might be enough info around to create their articles now. I've already started a Brax article, do you want to take Heath or Casey? - JuneGloomTalk00:53, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
I wonder when the new EP changes (if any) will take effect. Well, I'd rather do Heath over whining Casey. It's up to you though, and you may like Casey more than me for all I know. I've done the disappearing act on Roo again, so need to get back to her too.Rainthe 101:16, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
Sorry, just been catching up with my watchlist (and Only Fool and Horses). You can start the sandbox, I have too many of them cluttering up the place as it is, though I did finally move one yesterday. Yay! - JuneGloomTalk15:40, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
Oki Doki - I noticed you made a new award list. I'm not keeping tabs on you or out. How near completetion is Brax? Is it offline?Rainthe 115:50, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
It's alright, I like to stalk your edits too. ;) Brax is all over the place at the moment. There's half an article here and half offline. - JuneGloomTalk15:56, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
There is Gil like you've noticed, I think her next warning should be a final one before reporting cosidering the three month block. I mailed you back also. I did want to ask about Ferret who punched Xavier in the face over Sasha - do you know his first app date?Rainthe 121:13, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
No one noticed she had blanked out the info in Charlie's article for nine hours! Might be worth dropping a note of 5asq's talk page about her, since she was the last admin to block her. I'll have a hunt for Ferret's first app date for you. - JuneGloomTalk21:35, 4 January 2012 (UTC)
Thanks - I really didn't notice Charlie's article, my watchlist have doubled recently - I've always got something to do now - If Gil does it again I'll tell 5sq. Tweeted you too.Rainthe 100:28, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
I can't say I look at all the River Boys that closely, so I'm not too sure. He definitely appeared in the episode following the one in which he punched Xavier, so 5395 (broadcast on 30 September 2011). - JuneGloomTalk01:41, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
Yep, he's already mentioned in the article. Thanks though. What did you think of that interview? I was slightly worried about them not knowing the history of the characters and relying on the scriptwriters. - JuneGloomTalk21:26, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
I know, I seriously hope they didnt ask if two siblings could get together! You'd think the first thing they'd learn how they're related. lol Have you read the TV week interview? They're going to introduce more "hot bods".Rainthe 122:10, 5 January 2012 (UTC)
Take a look at Charlie and see if you are happy with the placement of the images and the caption I included. That is one think I can never do, always seems to be a generic "John Doe plays John (pictured)" ..Rainthe 100:31, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
Can you help me with something. All the members of the Costello family have left Hollyoaks, but there was no mention of Riley Costello departing, you might of noticed I kept changing him back to present because there was no confirmation that he left and an interview with Emma Smithwick implied he would still be present. However - he was listed as a "departed" character on the Hollyoaks website. Now - could you look in this weeks Inside Soap on Page 40, the bottom right hand corner Emma talks about Riley. Would you say that is enough to list him as returning?Rainthe 119:45, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
Will you keep an eye on Riley's article then - It will be an upopular change lol Right - Do you bu soaplife? I'm going to do some scans from this weeks for Gungadin and User:D4nny - I noticed you updated Danny's (Corrie) list entry, there is an interview with Jeremy Sheffield if you'd like it? The best thing about it though, Blair gives a mini interview about Winners and Losers and talks about Matt. You can have that too if you'd like. :)Rainthe 120:07, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
Eyes firmly on it. The scans would be great, thanks. The 2011 Corrie list has kinda turned into a little pet project of mine now. - JuneGloomTalk20:35, 6 January 2012 (UTC)
As you noticed I've been cutting Janae's massive plot down. Would you keep or remove the information about her friendship with Christine?Rainthe 100:04, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
Good, I just wanted to share out the info from that paragraph but needed to lose some of the length. If you have time and see anything else or could make it more concise - please do. I fricking hate that section. lolRainthe 100:11, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
I thought the same thing, but Amazon now have three copies and their cheapest one costs £5 less than the one on eBay. - JuneGloomTalk22:00, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
Oh yeah, forgot about postage and packaging. I'll be able to afford it one day. Have you done anymore on Brax? I haven't even started Casey yet. lolRainthe 122:46, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
I was wondering if you wanted to purchase the one from Amazon and then I could purchase the one from eBay (I know the seller)? I've been having computer issues atm, so Brax is on hold until I get things sorted (all my notes are on the PC, while I'm using the laptop). I have been slowly trying to improve Matt Hancock's page. - JuneGloomTalk22:56, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
Well I'm jobless and don't go to the job center, so I never have money (tragic aye) - so you could go for the cheaper one.Rainthe 123:37, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
Good God no. He's had second, third and fourth chances and threw them back in everyone's faces. Have you read his talk page and what happened the last time he wanted to be unblocked? He continued to edit despite agreeing not to and lied about it. Then he got angry when he didn't get his way and started to throw insults around. He's just not a very nice person, ask any of the people on the receiving end of his personal attacks (including yourself). I don't think he would adhere to strict instructions about editing for too long if he was unblocked. - JuneGloomTalk18:18, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
I know what is wrong with me. He called me and AP some horrible names. No can help us and we cannot take matters into our own hands. They cannot range block, even reluctant to block the IP he uses the most because he will hop (but he stays on it because they havent blocked it) - Some admins refuse protection because I did not undo Brian's changes. I'm at my the end of my teather with this person though. I've seen Tomjovanic is still here despite the other IP being blocked.Rainthe 118:58, 10 January 2012 (UTC)
Can you give some advice involving Riley again. The IP is a liar btw, neither Rob's Twitter account or his notorious fake Twitter account said he has left. Anyway, the official website seem to have corrected a mistake and moved Riley back to their Present cast section - should I remove the information about the official Hollyoaks website listing him as departed all together?Rainthe 122:21, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
I just checked Norbury's Twitter and noticed there was no tweet. I think you can remove the website info, as it looks like it was a mistake on their part. - JuneGloomTalk22:28, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
Not sure if you are still up, but I have a H&A matter to put to you. If "Police Officer" arrests Shandi/Daria (played by Michele-Antonio Mattiuzi) .. then Neal Stevenson (also played by Michele-Antonio Mattiuzi) helps Charlie investigate the garage robbery that Brax is framed for. And Rhett Walton plays "Judge" at Alf's trial and also plays "Magistrate Hanson" at Casey's trial. Are they different characters? Do I list them as separate characters? They are essentially the same. .. but I wasn't sure if it was a jump to assume they are the same.. as they are credited as separate people - but carrying out the exact same role as they did in their first appearances in early 2011.Rainthe 100:29, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
Same here - would be better to go with the credited full name or a both with a "/"? Btw, I only managed to capture one pic this week, it is a cute looking Badger - so rather than mailing you the pics, I sent it on Twitter cus it saves time. It is safe to say you won animal challenge this week.Rainthe 101:27, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
I think everything might be good now. Thanks for asking. :) I think it should not be in the infobox because like you said, it certainly doesn't represent his whole time. David looks near enough the same, but Simon certainly doesn't. I've swapped them, but I do not think two old images are not needed either.Rainthe 121:40, 13 January 2012 (UTC)
Everyone's going crazy at Simon's article. We ended up with two 2012 images on the page and the three sentences about his return got its own section! Tasks for me this weekend include creating Brax's article and expanding Jack Scully's article. How about you? - JuneGloomTalk00:18, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
Yeah I noticed there were two images when I landed on the page. I plan to give Steven Matheson a ref tidy, add more to stuff Casey and then work on the HO 2011 list. If I do is another story.Rainthe 100:23, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
Yes, plans do always seemed to get changed. Hopefully I can those two tasks done and then move on to a couple of other projects I've got lined up. I think you need a word with your old buddy Skteosk as he's just created Damian Roberts without any sources or the correct infobox. - JuneGloomTalk00:34, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
Haha! Plot is in past tense, no linked actors, wrong infobox - unsourced claims about whether he was regular and recurring at certain points in duration. I'm not sure about him, haven't seen that much in past searches. Finlay always came better off. What do you think we should do?Rainthe 100:44, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
I guess we should start by asking Skteosk what he plans to do with the article and maybe direct him to a few polices regarding fictional character articles (since it appears he hasn't read them). Then conduct a source search and work out if the article should be redirected or deleted if no sources are found. - JuneGloomTalk00:55, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
He said he had read the policies last time I pointed them out to him. .. He shall obviously carry on regardless - so I've asked him to make it a little easier - like setting it out how everyone else does. I guess that makes it easier to take the info over to a list one day. If we cannot find anything, we can just redirect it for sure.Rainthe 101:05, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
The only annual that could possibly profile him, which gives quite a few pages to guest cast doesn't even mention him. lol I think I'll hold off on the copy edit.Rainthe 101:50, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
Have you seen the comments at the bottom of this article? [4] - Quite the turn around from Gil - I wondered why Charlie had been left alone on here. :)Rainthe 118:41, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
Oh dear. :p We should await the conspiracy theories to be added to her article. Belle/Aden then Mark/Kate - you can betcha she will try it with these pair.Rainthe 119:02, 14 January 2012 (UTC)
Was not sure if you were around, I'd just finished updating Holly's page and you beat me to it. Thankfully yours is much better. :PRainthe 100:46, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
Sorry (and thanks). :) I always stay on a little past midnight to catch any breaking news and this time I caught some. It's kinda sad the Barton family are losing two members now. - JuneGloomTalk00:52, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
Oh, be sure to add them soon then. :p It can be like the big operation we launched on the old Neighbours characters back in 2010. :)Rainthe 118:22, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
That would be great if you could. He's kinda turned into my pet project for the day now. I'll have to focus on Harry later. - JuneGloomTalk00:32, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
J, could you do me a big favour, when ever you have time. Last week because of everything at home I never got Inside Soap. Could you scan me the Hollyoaks stories. If there was a producer interview, could you do that too? Was there anything for Home and Away either? I've got this week's - Is Jasek for real? Saying he used to watch Peggy Mitchell when he was a kid.. he looks about 50!Rainthe 120:41, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
Will do. There wasn't any Home and Away or Neighbours articles. I think Richard is in his late forties. I just discovered he was born in Prague and his father is a concert violinist! I think I might see if I can create an article for him. - JuneGloomTalk20:54, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
You could try and do it. The beard makes him look older, but I don't think he was a kid when he watched Peggy. lol Talking of Inside Soap actually, I meant to tell you something useless but made me blink ... There was an interview in IS a few weeks ago about Casey going down. It was word perfect apart from one setnence from an interview he did with TV Week. I wonder if they do that often? Brian is here you know, they always refuse check user yet two active registered accounts have just been blocked. I think there are atleast another one hanging around daily.Rainthe 121:27, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
Right! Okay, there are two H&A articles in that one. No producer interview as that was the week before. Do you want the Gemma Bissix interview? - JuneGloomTalk23:51, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
I expected them to atleast cover the George story, no doubt they gave EE 7 billion pages. Thankyou though, I want everything I can get for Dennis. And the Jessica Fox interview is great. So I'm glad I haven't missed out.Rainthe 100:33, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
They are forever moving pages and doing what they like. I'm surprised they are only just being told off for the edit summarries too. Just like another editor who is creating Corrie lists. Btw, you know those goodies, are they in the post or did you mean you had them now?Rainthe 118:15, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
I'm surprised they haven't been blocked by now. That other editor is ringing alarm bells for me. I have them now, they're just some articles I thought you might like. - JuneGloomTalk18:19, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, go for it. I'm sure it'll get worse as the night goes on. I'm quite surprised Charlie Buckton's article wasn't edited today. - JuneGloomTalk17:25, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
I will get round to working on her again eventually, there's just a couple of things that need more attention at the moment. The article is definitely not ready to be moved into the mainspace yet though. If you want to edit it, go ahead. - JuneGloomTalk18:38, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
Someone asked Luke on Twitter if he was returning and he said he couldn't confirm or deny it. Thanks for the ref fix in April's article, I've got Digital Spy on the brain. - JuneGloomTalk00:51, 24 January 2012 (UTC)
That's great. I did see that one around, but never asked about it. I'm currently trying to get a shot of Melissa McCarthy. - JuneGloomTalk11:30, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
I did watch The Bill. It does look like Chris Simmons, but with a slightly fuller face. Thanks for looking after Charity's article, I was out while the wedding was on. :)- JuneGloomTalk21:22, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Just wondered if it was him becuase I'll just get him cropped out if not. As soon they got married I went straight to the article and awaited the changes lolRainthe 123:40, 26 January 2012 (UTC)
Aw, thanks! It was Acid who created/updated Milton, but if he doesn't want to work on him anymore I guess I could. Btw, we might need to keep an eye on Kat Slater. Just saw this - [10]. - JuneGloomTalk23:27, 27 January 2012 (UTC)
I don't mean to create a dilemma but - Inside Soap 18-24 June 2011 - on the request spot - they say that Charity was born in 1975.Rainthe 114:30, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
We have got good reason to suspect that VJ's name is wrong. He is credited as VJ Patterson - however in Episode 5416 Leah put up a missing persons poster appealing for "VJ Patterson-Baker" to be found. I also noticed that recently VJ was credited as "VJ Dean played by Felix Dean" and atleast three characters were not credited with second names when they were mentioned in the show itself. What do you think should be done?Rainthe 118:46, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
I think we should stick with Patterson, especially if he was mentioned as being Patterson-Baker only once. As for the others, if the surname is mentioned than I think it's okay to include it somewhere. Hammer springs to mind. He was credited as Hammer throughout his time on the show and only called Harman Pirovic once (and he was dead when they did it, if I remember right). - JuneGloomTalk19:12, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
Oh right, well I was going to source some of these minor characters with an episode citation - but what if they appear in more than one episode - shall I just cite the first episode they appear in? Do you mind episode citations for confirmation of the actor?Rainthe 119:38, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
You learn something new everyday! I just found another source confirming it - [11]. I definitely didn't make any connection between them, maybe David looks more like his mother? - JuneGloomTalk21:05, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
There we go, all done and updated. Not sure if they dual role thing for Judge/Hanson - Nader/Neal is stretching the box column too much though? What I did want to ask you about - Character and actor names in the others field. Should we carry on linking each character and actor multiple times in each section? Does over link appy to different list entries?Rainthe 100:19, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
It looks fine to me, well done! Though it looks a little odd having some of the entries with actors and some without, what do you want to do there? I don't know about overlinking in lists, but I usually link all the characters. - JuneGloomTalk00:32, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
I did start linking, but then thought I'd wait until I got your opinion. I'll go and link the rest now, I guess they can be unlinked if anyone takes issue. :)Rainthe 101:07, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
I would add them yes, we did that once before when the character had not been cast. Are you planning on adding that anywhere then?Rainthe 122:40, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
I was just wondering if you'd seen it and not added it to the cast list because there isn't an actor yet. I wasn't sure whether to add it or not. You can do it though, if you like. :) - JuneGloomTalk22:43, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
Oh right. I was busy wasting my time adding sources to a character I've never even watched before. lol I'll do it now then - and it is quite plausible to create a section in the 2012 list too, right? I have nothing to watch tonight now I'm fully caught up with H&A Aus. It just wont be the same without Charlie. :(Rainthe 122:52, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
I think you can create a section for him on the list, you've got a character name and some casting/development info. I know what you mean, Charlie's death was so sad. I think I'm gonna do a Gill and pretend she's still alive, but living elsewhere. You could try Crownies, Wild Boys or The Slap if you're looking for some more Aussie drama. - JuneGloomTalk23:05, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
I am deffo gonna watch the first double episode of Crownies sometime. The article is in bad shape isn't it. I didn't like the sound of Wild Boys though.Rainthe 100:05, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
Hey, on the H&A current cast list, in the "Recurring and guest characters" section their is a character named Derek Young. He is a doctor and they renamed the character Joel Young last year. He was in todays episode too. What do you think his name should be?Rainthe 115:49, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
Lol, he just does a little flirting with Aidan. I want him to appear in a few more episodes though as he has some good chemistry with Aidan/Bobby. - JuneGloomTalk16:26, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
My edit summary fail - "as he as he has" :(.17:24, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
That one was from todays episode, I've been trying to get a good one of him for ages - but he is always pulling funny faces. Anyway - todays Dilemma - Xavier, Gina, John are listed as living at 31 Saxon Avenue - but this says 33 - [13]Rainthe 118:19, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
I know, I just watched it. Hmm, maybe we have the house numbers the wrong way round then. Brax, Heath and Casey must live at number 31. - JuneGloomTalk18:23, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
The article looks good, you've got quite a bit of reception info there. I think you've done enough to establish notability and there's plenty of room for growth. It's really up to you, but I wouldn't redirect the article back to a list if I came across it. - JuneGloomTalk16:03, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for that, I'll see what the others think about it now then. I thought I'd ask you first because you have a good handle on these things. I just could not decide myself as I'm in two minds - I think there is plenty of development info - but not that many sources reporting on it.Rainthe 116:17, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
Mario just removed something from [[List of Hollyoaks characters] - It was Margaret's return date cited to Inside Soap, please may you add the actual source if it is true?Rainthe 119:59, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
I've just added 20 free images to the H&A gallery (yay) - including Indiana Evans and Todd Lasance - who I have finally got around to watching in Crownies. I think I shall move to Australia where the TV is better. :)Rainthe 105:40, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
I'm coming with you! I forgot to say I contacted that eBay seller about buying those Inside Soap mags. They wouldn't sell the whole collection to me, so I had to settle for eighteen issues from the 90s instead. - JuneGloomTalk13:16, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
Ah, that's why I couldn't access the Sky article. I used an ATV Today article as I've always found them pretty reliable. - JuneGloomTalk20:20, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
Oh, I've found quite a few H&A articles for you. I'll try to scan them soon. I think these mags might be able to save a few of the early 90s Neighbours characters like Jen and Mark. Also got quite a bit of info for Malcolm. - JuneGloomTalk20:45, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
Hi JuneGloom07, thank you for your work on stopping vandalism and adding references on Rebel Wilson's wiki page. It is much appreciated! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.136.94.88 (talk) 03:16, 3 January 2012 (UTC)
Further to the discussion about external links on Neighbours last year and specifically Perfect Blend, FYI I have removed Perfect Blend, as the site now appears to be dead. It's a shame, as it was a great source. Adamiow (talk) 12:30, 8 January 2012 (UTC)
Hey June, I have a really big favour to ask and I kinda feel guilty for asking it, but I really need the info. In an interview with Inside Soap, Hollyoaks producer Paul Marquess talked about the recent edits to the show in late 2010, probs in November/December 2010 time and how one of the characters (Eva Strong) was mean't to temporarily leave, but did not because of the redits to the show. I was wondering if you could find that for me and I know you can't scan but if you could just tell me the bit he said about Eva and the redits and what the magazine issue, date, page was etc, that would be really, really good. :)--AcidBrights (talk) 17:32, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
Can I be really cheeky and ask you to scrap that because I know it will be hard work and I think i've found an ideal ref now. I was wondering if you could do me another favour? I'm working on Sunita's article at the minute, and I was wondering if you could find me some articles from Inside Soap in December 2009 time about her return and from there on? I feel really guilty because I know your busy and I didn't really get the magazines much then.--AcidBrights (talk) 16:58, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
Hey, unfortunately I didn't start collecting Inside Soap until 2010, so I don't have anything about her return. I'll search the 2010 issues for any info about her though. - JuneGloomTalk14:54, 23 January 2012 (UTC)
Oh, that's so sweet of you, thanks! I will keep looking for more articles for you. If you're planning on improving any more older Hollyoaks characters drop me a note and I'll see if I can help you. I have soap mags from 1998 to 2001. - JuneGloomTalk17:22, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
One of the magazines that I have has all the old website addresses for the soaps in it. I just entered www.hollyoaks.com in the wayback machine and found the character profiles. I've only checked Rob's link so far. - JuneGloomTalk23:08, 19 January 2012 (UTC)
Hi, you added the 1999 ISA nom to Rob Hawthorne from IS mag, any chance you could scan the nom pages? Do you know if you have any other nom lists in mags for ISA, i'm having trouble finding them online. Thanks D4nnyw14 (talk) 00:44, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
Here you go - [14] (I stuck it in the Hollyoaks folder, so there is another article there too). Unfortunately, I only have the 1999 awards. You might want to look at the EE awards list and see if any of the sources used there contain info about Hollyoaks. - JuneGloomTalk01:00, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
You caught me at a good time. :) The awards from 2007-2011 should be covered by DS. The other years might be covered by the BBC, so check their website out. Also try the Free Library. - JuneGloomTalk01:09, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, i have refs for about 2007-2011 and then for 2005 and 2006 from the Free Library. The BBC cover the winners but not the noms for others soaps so if all else fails i could just enter the winners until a ref becomes available. D4nnyw14 (talk) 01:14, 21 January 2012 (UTC)
Hey, I've been talking to Rain about the possibility of creating a Neighbours article (I've watched it for years and love it), as I have never done one before! :) I discussed the possibility of maybe Rhys' article, although i'm not sure how many refs he has and may need help with refs from TV Week for obvious reasons. I also thought that maybe you could suggest something that need creating if you have started Rhys' article or if it isn't a viable option at the minute? :) I'm open to any, not just Rhys. --AcidBrights (talk) 19:43, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
Hey! I've pretty much done Rhys, but I'm reluctant to split him off the list atm. I think I have enough sources to establish notabilty, but I'm just waiting to see if anything more comes out about his casting or latest storyline. There was/has been a lack of TV Week articles for him, I've only used one. Though if you want to draft your own version of Rhys' article, by all means go ahead. You might uncover some sources I haven't found yet and we could always merge the drafts together. I did think of trying to split Emilia and Noah at one point, but Emilia has no reception info (yet) and Noah has gone, so there's no potential to expand his article (but he has reception). Have a look at them and tell me what you think. Looking at the lists, no one else is jumping out at me atm. There's either a lack of development info or a lack of reception info for them. Have you looked at the past characters list? I recently managed to recreate Joanna Hartman after some hard work and the help of an admin. On another note, H&A has plenty of characters that need articles. Rain is currently working on Casey and I'm working on Brax (though you could take him if you want), so Heath's left over. There's also Harvey and Sasha, her domestic abuse storyline is quite big. The 2010 list needs creating too. I like your Karl article btw, are you going to do Eva next? I added some reception info to her list entry a few days ago that was pretty great. - JuneGloomTalk01:47, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
Hey, well I really like Emilia and would love to attempt to make an article for her. I don't know what you think but I wish Emilia was a regular she kind of fills that "Libby-shaped" hole that's been missing all these months. I've never really thought about past characters I best have a look and see whether there is any. I also really like Sasha and Heath they may also be possibilities. I think i'll leave Rhys to you. Btw, thanks about Karl's article and I think GSorby is creating Eva's article, he has it in a sandbox, but don't think hes done anything on it. It may take me a while to decide though is that okay?--AcidBrights (talk) 13:12, 31 January 2012 (UTC) Is that okay?--AcidBrights (talk) 20:43, 31 January 2012 (UTC)
That's okay. I'll keep an eye out for some reception for Emilia from the Herald Sun. There might be something when the storyline with Michael picks up. I'm also a fan of Emilia and it's a shame she's not sticking around for longer. I like her relationship with Lucas. I can ask GSorby if he plans to continue with Eva if you like? - JuneGloomTalk00:50, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
I think I might start putting together an article for the fabulous Emilia, I may need some help though if thats okay. And i'll have a bit of a think about Eva first.--AcidBrights (talk) 22:10, 1 February 2012 (UTC)
I see you added Mandy's 1993 Inside Soap TV Award win... I didn't know they existed before 1997, but could you let me know any other award wins or nominations for EastEnders that you come across in the old mags so I can update the awards list. Either on my talk page, or on the list's talk page is probably better... thank you! –anemoneprojectors– 16:25, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
I didn't know about them existing before then either! I'm just going through some old Inside Soap's that I purchased recently and saw the feature. They were called Inside Soap TV Awards then, so I assume they changed the name and added more categories in 1996/97. I'll drop the info off at the list's talk page for you. - JuneGloomTalk16:35, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
Time for a new one. That is good news for them. Did you know beforehand which issues would be good for Gaby. There were two I eyed up with interviews with Rachel in them.Rainthe 117:41, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
I didn't, I just told the seller I was a fan of Neighbours and he picked out the issues that mentioned the show on the front cover or had the most articles about it inside. I have so many articles about the Aus soaps that they'll keep me (and you) busy for a while. I've already made a start and added some casting info to Rick and Cathy Alessi today. - JuneGloomTalk17:57, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
I've been watching you. :P I have been busy today, hardly done a thing. Btw - Just because Leanne has popped off in a taxi to Toyah's - everyone thinks she has left.Rainthe 121:19, 2 February 2012 (UTC)
Sorry! I stole that format from EE and have used it for citing episodes ever since. I like the way the directors and writers are set out. I can't wait for that H&A episode to be broadcast, Erin looks kinda odd with blonde hair. Look who's going to appear in next week's Inside Soap - [16]. - JuneGloomTalk18:22, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
Well that is a rarity right there! Oh and I had to look twice at the pic until I realised who it was. I notice someone has said he already appeared in H&A on his page. lolRainthe 118:33, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
Hey, not sure if you are awake, but I'm ploughing on with Casey - would you personally include reception for the river boys in general?Rainthe 100:26, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
I'm still around for another hour at least. I think I would include some reception about them yes. They arrived as a group and have storylines surrounding them as a whole. - JuneGloomTalk00:30, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Oh phew. :) Do you think If I put something about the River Boys being popular with fans, then use Lucy Addario's comment about them in last week's IS, would that work best in reception?Rainthe 100:37, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
It does look good, but is there nothing in any of the Inside Soap mags about him and Ruby? I sent you a tweet about today's sightings, btw. - JuneGloomTalk22:01, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Replied. You'd think there would be more info about Casey and Ruby around. I guess they're not as popular as "Chax" or Romeo and Indi. - JuneGloomTalk00:22, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Hello. I did look in the photostream but they are not listed correctly, I suspect they just list the dates and issues in the forum. It was too time consuming aswell, like there were tons of horoscopes, style files and mini episode recaps. I think they scanned the whole magazines lol. What should we do with the sandbox? I would have carried on adding info if I had found some, so insrtead I have started working on Heath. :)Rainthe 116:58, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
That's alright. If the info isn't there, it isn't there. I realised yesterday that I should have started with Heath instead of Brax. There's so much info out there for him and Charlie, it's crazy. Should I put the info about Tegan in a separate section or mention her in the Charlie one? - JuneGloomTalk17:14, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
We can have a race to see who adds the most info by midnight. I'm not sure, I'd include it in the the Brax/Charlie section in theory. However, I bet you are going to need to cut the Relationship section with Charlie into atleast three sections. It came in the middle - so I bet combined with stuff about Hayley it could flow in a subsection. It does sound like a lot of work though, I imagine that his Arrival - Fued with Angelo - Relationship with Charlie - Other Women - The crash - Charlie's death .. are all covered in sources. :/Rainthe 117:30, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Oh God, that's a lot of info! I need to get a move on then if I want to catch up with you. Btw, I see the snow has brought out all the crazies. Have you seen what's going on at the Home and Away cast list? - JuneGloomTalk17:47, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
It's working for me too, so Freya has a picture. I was looking at the H&A images the other day and it seems the cast attend more parties and red carpet events than the Neighbours cast do. - JuneGloomTalk15:12, 8 February 2012 (UTC)
June, Do you have anything for Joey Rainbow in any of those old IS mags? So far all I've managed to unearth is a few articles about the schizo stuff late in his run (which would be great for the development section but) and I'm thinking of talking to the person who iced the article a few years ago about reincarnating. I just wondered if you had any other things such as reception or characterisation (It really is a bugger to comb for info on the 1996-99 H&A teens, save for a few). If not, no biggie. As for the H&A cast attending more high profile events, It's because H&A generally has more clout down there than Neighbours has, sort of have been that way since the early 90s. Although I will say it's unfair the Nabes has been shafted at the logies for the last few years. Conquistador2k6 15:26 8 February 2012 (UTC)
I'd buy it if the star was Xavier and he wanted a house share. =] Have you seen this - [18], it is kinda sweet but the lack of mentions to new characters makes me wonder if they even watch it. I was thinking of adding the kind of reception info for Sarah, good idea?Rainthe 101:24, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Yeah, I've seen the article (and tweeted it). It's quite sweet really. I think he has seen it as he mentioned Paul and Karl were still there. What can you add to Sarah's article from that? - JuneGloomTalk01:28, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
I'm really bad with Twitter these days, like I noticed about two hours ago that you tweeted about Crownies. lol Well I got the idea that he was speaking about defining moments.. How about: "Ben Pobjie of the SMH said that everyone remembers where they were at the time they watched Karl kissed Sarah behind Susan's back."Rainthe 102:03, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Latest Soap Watch is out, btw - [19]. I can't believe I'm still working on Lewis' article. For a character who was in the show for less than a year, there sure is a lot of info about him out there. I've just started to expand the departure info and I need to finish off the return section and the lead. The article looks like a mess at the moment, I need to put in a couple of subheadings. - JuneGloomTalk02:27, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Just a suggestion - but you could use a picture of Deirdre in Lewis' article? Oh and I just noticed your reply - thankyou for the ref, I shall add that in a mo - I think it is great how much information you have dug out for Lewis tbh.Rainthe 100:19, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
A free image or a non free image? Thanks, I was kinda surprised by how much I found. I'm thinking of taking the article to GAN, do you think it would pass? - JuneGloomTalk00:43, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
I'd like to take Bianca to GA sometime - but the thought of having to add the info from the three big interviews she has done recently and all the new sources about Liam is daunting. :/Rainthe 118:27, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
There is a fair bit of info to add there for sure. Maybe add them one at a time, over a few days. Have you added the All About Soap nom? And what is going on with Val from Emmerdale? She's gone for twelve weeks, not for good. No one wants to help clean up the character's articles because they're too busy pissing around with the cast lists. - JuneGloomTalk18:58, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
I shall add that later, I read the list and I never even thought about adding it.. And tell me about it - Most are quick to kick up a fuss about the trivial details - but you certainly won't catch them adding actual content to the articles. If they do you can bet there is no source.Rainthe 119:07, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
Apparently Val is not a member of the present cast. :/ I can't be bothered to add her back or remove the last appearance date from her ibox. I'm not in the mood for a confrontation from Nocrowx. - JuneGloomTalk19:51, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
See what I meant on the talk page, Nocrowx just dismissed our views and went all high and mighty in his edit summary, ignoring the consensus - in favour of his own. It is shame editors can get away with such behaviour... Well - I'm never nomally picky - but as I was shown by Frick once, somewhere in the MoS it says full stops go after the closing quoation mark unless it is a full sentance or longer quote. I got my dollar today btw, just waiting to see if the lady takes postal orders then I'll buy them. :)Rainthe 101:26, 14 February 2012 (UTC)
Laura Morgan of All About Soap said that Rhys sank "to an all-time low" when he tried to sabotage Erin's career and that he thoroughly deserved a slap from Erin. She branded him "ruthless Rhys", "a creep", "a devious doc" and "sneaky".<ref>{{cite journal|last=Morgan|first=Laura|title=Rhys plays dirty!|journal=[[All About Soap]]|date=18 February - 2 March 2012|issue=264|pages=26|accessdate=16 February 2012|publisher=[[Hearst Magazines UK]]}}</ref>
Ah, thank you! I'm quite surprised I've got so much reception for him already. I thought I was going to struggle without the Holy Soap memorable moment to kick things off. - JuneGloomTalk13:32, 16 February 2012 (UTC)
OMG, look at this - [20] - Ever likely Aus folk couldn't accept gay characters in soaps if this is what the media say - "vile rumours" and "purse-carrying nancy boy".Rainthe 120:44, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
Blimey! Thankfully, I think things have changed a bit since then. I'll have a link containing some goodies for you a bit later. - JuneGloomTalk21:05, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
I think it is. The May 1993 issue which has the awards in it mentions the poll and how they had a massive response. They then present the winners and runners up. A couple of categories are missing and the result for Best American Soap has changed. - JuneGloomTalk22:11, 22 February 2012 (UTC)
J, do you have a copy of Monroe's "Soapbox"? If so please could, I have any info about Frank - I know she wrote about Sally, Lynn and Steven.Rainthe 114:17, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
I don't have that one I'm afraid. I have Hilary Kingsley's Soap Box book, but it doesn't contain any info for H&A as it was published just before the show started. - JuneGloomTalk16:28, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
Sorry, I had just woken up when I asked that. I did actually mean Kingsley's Soapbox - it is on page 214 according to google snippet view. Published in 1989 though.Rainthe 116:49, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
No worries, she must have brought it out again [22]. But I hate that Snippet view though - they show a snippet of the passage directly below the text you searched for. Did Frank get a mention in Super Aussie Soaps btw?Rainthe 117:18, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
Just noticed this in TV Choice - It'll need a wonce it over though - "A columnist for TV Choice also branded him branded him "ruthless Rhys" and a "sneaky medic". They added that he played "even dirtier" when he spreaded rumours about Erin having a drink problem. However, they said that they could see a "twinge of conscience" in Rhys after Erin quits."<ref>{{cite journal|title=Neighbours Ruthless Rhys|journal=[[TV Choice]]|date=18-24 February 2012|issue=8|pages=18|accessdate=1 March 2012|publisher=[[Bauer Media Group]]}}</ref>Rainthe 101:50, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
Removed it then. Thought it was best to check though - Haven't even watched the last three episodes actually, starting to bore me.Rainthe 116:59, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Dunno if you buy it, but TVTimes last week they did a feature on Frank's murder, there is some reception and stuff - I will scan it if you are interested?Rainthe 121:13, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
Funnily enough I do have it, thank you though! Once all the excitement has died down, I'll try and make him my second Corrie GA (if Lewis passes, and GSorby doesn't get there first). - JuneGloomTalk21:19, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
Ahh - Which cover did you get? They only had Michelle in Asda so there was no chosing for me. Will do some Neighbours scans though.Rainthe 121:23, 5 March 2012 (UTC)
Have you seen this? [25] - I can't imagine a one episode character having their own development section, but she harps on about it. I swear I cannot see a name for the character either. What shall we do about her?Rainthe 103:14, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
I guess we'll have to wait for her scenes to air, so we get a character name. I'm not sure I like the idea of a section for a one episode character either. - JuneGloomTalk14:53, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. I've broken through my writer's block. I think adding bits of reception info from the free library to other pages really helped. I'm back in the mood to create, expand and improve articles, instead of spending the day cleaning up or reverting crap edits. - JuneGloomTalk01:12, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
I'm glad you have found the strength, seems these days my good contribs occur on weekends. However, I'm 22 today, so Wikipedia can be my distraction from old age. I've uploaded an image of Rhys, he looks so smiley, but he just won't keep still when I'm trying to get him. Oh and Laura Morgan is quite the reception lady lately.Rainthe 104:34, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
Wait a second, it's your birthday?! I'll come to your talk page with a cake in a minute. I love that Rhys is so smiley in that image. Thanks for that link, will have to look at whether Troy can be split in future. - JuneGloomTalk20:25, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
Thank you! I'm in the middle of adding some info from the last lot to the articles, while watching episodes of Revenge. - JuneGloomTalk21:38, 10 March 2012 (UTC)
I knew US soaps were kinda ridiculous for recasting characters - but I've found the winner - Mike Horton - The casting section would be a monster to write.Rainthe 102:29, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
Holy moly that's a lot of recasting going on there. Imagine being a fan of the character and having to get used to that many different actors playing him. I reckon the casting section would be huge after you've finished writing about all the recastings and departures. - JuneGloomTalk12:31, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
Peter came back home and Leanne and Ken had a go at him. The episode ended with Anne wondering who killed her son and all five suspects being shown. Yay, I love those Nigel images. Thank you! - JuneGloomTalk22:05, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
I just didn't believe my mum when she said Peter had got out so quick. Are you gonna be working on Dave? I've got some stuff for him - but do you want scans or help?Rainthe 122:53, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
Ooh, I'd love some help with Dave. I'm just going to add some more development info to the 1993 cast list, then I was going to sort his storylines out. - JuneGloomTalk23:03, 16 March 2012 (UTC)
I was thinking about doing removing development sections from articles that User:Rynewell91 has contributed to. He copied the whole article and shoved in "[...]" to at random points. Quite a serious copy vio that has remained for one year. Linda Fowler is the worst - and then there is Biff Fowler, Kelly Windsor and Viv Hope. His list of signif contribs makes for comical reading too.Rainthe 120:09, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
The obvious one is for us to clean them up... as usual. lol All the information is in the source, it is just that they went copy and paste happy. I was going to remove the vios and information can be added by anyone interested - or when we eventually get round to them. Luckily they are notable characters (Got some IS articles on Linda too), so they shouldn't be going anywhere anytime soon.Rainthe 100:06, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Done some - retained some info from the sources on Linda and a bit in Viv. Removed all uses of Emmerdale.org and took out some non free media. Now - will you be helping out some more on Dave? Got a good feeling about his article. :D Also I brought a mag with Roy Glover on it and the Corrie 50th book today.Rainthe 100:49, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Yep, I've got some more info for Dave. I purchased the 30 years of Emmerdale book a few days ago as it was quite cheap. - JuneGloomTalk01:03, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
Super duper! There are quite a few sources in the Free library, on Highbeam - also got more IS articles about him. What you have and the book. I'm thinking GA is a good aim.Rainthe 101:15, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
That is Scott and James in the same week - File:James Mason.jpg - ding-dong! Then there is "Danny Ewing"[26] - I'm sure Dan Ewing is his common name - might count the google hits and move it - if you think it is a good idea?Rainthe 105:05, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
I love that pic of James! If only he was notable enough for an article. I'm not sure I've ever read Daniel Ewing anywhere, so I'd agree to a move if the google hits back it up. - JuneGloomTalk15:05, 19 March 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. I've removed Tara and Sean from weddings because I couldn't remember it happening. Is that correct? Think you might have too weed some of these out or I'll be asking you all day. lolRainthe 102:30, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
The 30 Years of Emmerdale is really good and their deaths list is great, it includes which characters died off screen. - JuneGloomTalk20:00, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
Oh good! No one can argue with a solid source! Noticed how everyone is suddenly interested in the running of that list? Typical. Btw I've lost a bid on a mag with Bobby Simpson and Brad Willis on the cover. Not a happy bunny to say the least.Rainthe 120:08, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
Why have you changed the ISBN to the 25 Years book? I've got it in front of me and no mention of that number.Rainthe 120:17, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
The ISBNs should be the current 13-digit format and not the 10-digit one (I learnt that in one of my GA reviews). If you want to convert a 10-digit ISBN just go here. I've sent you a link to the book scans on Twitter. - JuneGloomTalk20:28, 20 March 2012 (UTC)
Hey, one of my current projects is completely revamping Leanne Battersby's article (see here: User:AcidBrights/Sandbox7) and I was wondering if you could help me with something. Should the stuff on Leanne's affair with Nick in 2010 go under her relationship with Nick Tilsley section or her relationship with Peter Barlow section? I'm a bit stumped on which way to do it.--AcidBrights (talk) 11:54, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Another question (Sorry) should Leanne's duration be: 1997–2000, 2004–06, 2007— because she took maternity leave in 2006 and return in 2007, or should it just be: 1997–2000, 2004— (e.g. 1997–2000 (original stint), 2004— (official return))--AcidBrights (talk) 18:52, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Images?
Hi, this is one big of a favour to ask! Can you get an image of Reggie Yates and Holly Willoughby? Ive seen some on flickr, just wondering... Dont worry if you cannot but if you could, how could I repay you???? MayhemMario13:57, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
I know this was for June but i could upload one of Holly, there are several already with the right license but someone would have to ask those who own an image of Reggie to change the licensing. D4nnyw14 (talk) 14:08, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Did you know Holly already has a pic at wikipedia? I was going to upload the same image to commons but have just noticed that its already there. The only other free image of Holly is this: [27]. I've asked a few people about a Reggie image too. D4nnyw14 (talk) 14:33, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
Yes, I did know that, but I disliked that image. :/ But if thats all which you can get, than thats fine, and once again, thank you very much for this. Also, I know this is rather a big effort, but could you look up another image for Tom Jones (singer), his current image looks like he's going for a number two. :/ MayhemMario14:44, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
I'll have a look now. Why you don't like the Willoughby image? Only thing wrong with it is how close it is which could be resolved by cropping. D4nnyw14 (talk) 15:40, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
I'll keep an eye out for any good images of Tom, only good ones are on accounts that haven't been active for a few years. I'll have a look for a Holly one if i get change. D4nnyw14 (talk) 16:22, 4 February 2012 (UTC)
sorry i dont mean to change your pages on emmerdale characters the info im giving is true but im having difficulty putting in references as im only new to this stuff. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.4.38.81 (talk) 20:02, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Ah, it was an easy mistake to make, especially as the previous date was down as 31st January. Blame it on your subconscious. ;) - JuneGloomTalk23:34, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
Change of heart
I'm so sorry to do this, but I don't think I can do Emilia's article. I don't want to ruin the high standard of the Neighbours articles which you have created and developed so far, and I just feel that I would mess you around as at the moment i'm struggling as to what article to concentrate on etc. I'm sorry I offered to do it so far when you or someone else could be doing it.--AcidBrights (talk) 19:27, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
That's alright, no need to worry. I'm sure you wouldn't ruin the standard of the articles, thanks for the compliment though. :) - JuneGloomTalk20:02, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
Adding new pages
Hi June, please could you tell me why I can't make them new pages and how I can make a sub-article (e.g. John Barton on List of Emmerdale characters (2010)) into an article with the same heading as the sub-article.
Hey, I was wondering would you be okay to scan me any articles form the soap magazines on The Sharpes (Gabby, Amber, Taylor and Phil, the actors are Phina Oruche, Lydia Lloyd-Henry, Shaun Blackstock and Andonis Anthony), basically anything and everything about them including Paul Marquess' interviews talking about them, please? I know its alot but I'm keen to get back to improving them and the articles should be between March 2010-December 2010?--AcidBrights (talk) 11:26, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
The edits look kinda similar so I've now opened an SPI for Sheep 2009. Apart from anything else it's very weird that the IP edited on that user page. That's not normally something they'd know about unless they are the user..........--5 albert square (talk) 00:44, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Well I have requested CU, I will wait and see if that's granted first off. If it is and those are also his accounts then CU will find them. If it's refused I'll look into their edits more and see if I think they're Sheep.--5 albert square (talk) 01:01, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Independent Spirit Awards
Hi, I started doing the Independent Spirit Award winners for 2012 when I came across your updates on my way down the list. I am from Australia and I guess you are too. Most people in the USA would have been asleep when the awards were happening or didn't bother doing the updates to the pages.
I'm not one of those people who try to beat everybody to the page update. I just noticed that when I looked to see the page for 2012 awards the updates had not been done, so I did some.
I think that the Independent Spirit Awards are the best awards for "Best Picture". The awards are of good quality and do not 'seem' to be swayed by the '$$$$' and the 'he/she missed out when he/she should have won in the past so we will give an award now instead'.
I only do improvements when I find problems as I read, so I'm not the best wiki-person that you will ever meet. But I like Wiki, want it to be trusted, and want to do my bit.
Hey there. Thanks for your message. :) I'm actually from England, I just keep odd hours (especially during awards season). I actually just updated the Best Female Lead award as I'm a fan of Michelle Williams, though if there are some that still need doing I don't mind updating them. I like the Spirit Awards too. I think they chose some good winners and nominees this year. - JuneGloomTalk00:37, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
A little favour
Hello!
A little favour to ask if I may.
Can you please add the page Peter Rowell to your watchlist? It's a page I created about a year or so ago about a BBC radio broadcaster who's now in trouble with the police. If you look under the indecent assaults conviction section you will see why. He's due to be sentenced on 2nd March but I'm going on holiday and may not be around on Wikipedia on that day to keep an eye on it. Due to the nature of his conviction I think the page may come under some vandalism in the coming days after that, I know when he was first charged it did and I ended up having to get it locked. I'll try and get into an internet cafe around 3rd March so I can google his sentencing and try and rev del the article if it needs it, but can you please add the article to keep an eye on it? Gonna ask the same of Rain as well :)--5 albert square (talk) 22:05, 26 February 2012 (UTC)
But the article isn't finished. The career section needs a lot more work and the lead isn't correct. He's better known for his work on City Homicide and McLeod's Daughters. - JuneGloomTalk13:14, 1 March 2012 (UTC)
I started on his storylines offline a while back, Will you be birthing the article the anytime soon or should I transfer the information over? Conquistador2k6 12 March 2012 18:59 (UTC)
I've only just started on the Beth stuff and I'm waiting on a magazine to arrive, so I'm not quite sure when I'll be finished. It's really up to you if you want to add his storylines to his list section now or wait until I've done the development info and then add them to the draft. - JuneGloomTalk20:03, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
Shoved the storylines into the list. Couldn't wait. (I'm sort of in an SL mood this week after about 2 weeks of doing little or nothing). Conquistador2k6 12 March 2012 20:54 (UTC)
Okay. I'm in a "get at least two drafts out of my userspace and add development info to the articles" kind of mood. But my desire to create at least four new articles is not helping. - JuneGloomTalk21:20, 12 March 2012 (UTC)
DYK for Richard Jasek
On 15 March 2012, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Richard Jasek, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that television producer and director Richard Jasek's father was a concert violinist who was coerced into becoming a spy? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Richard Jasek. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.
Disagree with your undo of my additions to "The Sense of an Ending" page
You have undone my additions with the comment "Rv unsourced additions". Several points occur to me:
1. These are not materials which under Wikipedia guidelines require to be sourced.
2. There is no firm evidence that Barnes' title is "taken from" the Kermode book. The most one can say is that the two books share the same title. The citation to Leo Robson (who in any case uses the word "borrowed", which has a different emphasis) adds nothing. Other reviewers as well as Robson have made the same connection.
3. Nevertheless one assumes that Barnes deliberately borrowed Kermode's title and did so for a purpose. I gave the full title of the Kermode book, its date and subject matter, because they add to the understanding of the connection between the two books, and they bear directly on the subject of Barnes' novel. Again, they are facts which do not require sourcing. They were linked to the relevant Wikipedia entry for the Kermode book.
4. For the same reason the similarities with the Pears book, "Stone's Fall", are sufficiently striking to be worth highlighting. Again, these are matters of fact: they do not require sourcing.

I'm sorry you disagree with my revert, but those points do need sourcing. Everything in that article is sourced, so they should be too. The similarities with the Pears book sentence definitely needs a source as it appears to be original research. - JuneGloomTalk19:48, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
Do you have the source? If no one else will know it, and you do not include it - how will it ever be sourced? You broke the rules - in future please add sources when required to do so.Rainthe 123:28, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
