ArbCom 2018 election voter messageHello, Judith Sunrise. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC) Hi Judith, and thank you for your message, When I looked at the (now deleted) draft, the first thing I searched for an existing article for World Rubik's Cube Championship. With my "magic admin spectacles" on, I can see that there has never been an article or draft article of that name. If you moved your sandbox article into articlespace, there's a good chance someone - quite possibly me - would nominate it for speedy deletion, in a way that's analogous to the speedy deletion of an album or a song by a musical act that itself doesn't have a mainspace article. While your sandbox article includes links to a number of notable speedcubers, my advice would be start the World Rubik's Cube Championship article, and then add the annual competitions after that. If you would like to have the deleted content of Draft:World Rubik's Cube Championship 2017 moved into your userspace, just let me know. ArbCom 2019 election voter messageArbCom 2020 Elections voter messageWCA comp countHey, I saw your message, checked the newest database export (the one from today) and I get 7105 uncancelled competitions (and 7373 total comps including cancelled ones). I also don't see why the website shows 7051 uncancelled comps instead, but 7105 is at least close (and quite a lot more than the 6704 you seem to see; have you double checked that figure?). If you also get 7105 from the newest export, we would at least, for now, be on the same page with Pixomite as far as 7,000+ goes... Felida97 (talk) 17:13, 6 July 2021 (UTC)
