User talk:JorgeArandaGood workHey, thank you for keeping an eye on the Mexico article, usually it's me and a few other guys the ones who take care of it, but the more people that help us the better, adios. Supaman89 (talk) 22:10, 21 October 2008 (UTC) IQYou say that saying that Mexico's national IQ cannot be 96 and that it is childish to think so. Why? I understand Mexico is not first world, but it is not so much third world either, it is a newly industrialized country. Is it so childish to think Mexico can have a high IQ when developing countries similar to Mexico, like China, have a pretty high IQ. Are you saying that because most Mexicans are not (full) caucasian or East Asian that they can't get a high score? Is this racism? One question: are you even Mexican, I understand you live in Canada, but are you of Mexican origin? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Chris Iz Cali (talk • contribs) 00:44, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
Okay, I'm sorry!--Chris Iz Cali (talk) 00:34, 28 January 2010 (UTC) MexicoDear Jorge: I think you didn't see the actual changes I introduced. I just didn't revert. User Richard was complaining about the use of the word "despite" to link two sentences. He clearly stated that he thought both sentences were fine, just not the linking of the concepts. However, he just limited himself to delete the whole sentence, not to correct it. So accordingly with that, I'm adding back the sourced notion that Mexico is considered an emerging world power by the G8 and G5 nations. Anything that is sourced and verifiable, such as this, does belong to Wikipedia and especially to this article, since it is about Mexico. AlexCovarrubias ( Talk? ) 01:10, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
Official languageDear Jorge, ever since I was a child I always thought that the official language was Spanish, but here in Wikipedia I was taught that it was not true. For the last 2 years that was a fact for me, until recently when I discovered that reference in the presidency website. So I'm as surprised as you. Thanks!
