Hello WOSO editors!

What a year to be alive. As usual (but perhaps even moreso since there have been unexpected quarantines), there has been a lot of activity on player, team, league and tournament-related Wikipedia articles with all of the worldwide coverage of women's football / soccer. Great work!

List of Monogatari novels revert

Hi ! My apologies, I guess that edit did look suspicious since I haven't provided an explanation for it. I've been told by a translator familiar with Nisio's series that this kanji likely did not mean "English" here, but was instead short for the word for "Hero" which is used to refer to Sorakara Kuu, the character from Densetsu Series who appears in that story. reverting my edit

Hello Jkudlick, I see that you reverted my edit on 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification (UEFA), but to be honest: I can't understand why? The hosts of that tournament are not European nations. @Dutchy45: The last column in that table indicates when the nations which qualify for 2023 previously appeared in the Women's World Cup, and whether they hosted and/or won in those years. Sweden, Germany, and France hosted the 1995, 2011, and 2019 tournaments, respectively. Norway were champions in 1995, and Germany in 2003 and 2007. Consistent display of ISBNs

As stated in ISBN, the composing parts of ISBNs are variable in length.

Hyphens (or spaces) are be used to show the decomposition into "languages"/"countries", "publishers", etc...

"Larger" languages/countries get "shorter" identifiers/codes: "978-0-" and "978-1-" for "English", versus "978-99915-" for "Maldives". (c.f. [1])

"Bigger" publishers get "shorter" identifiers/code. (c.f. "978-1-" publishers)

Many publishers have several identifiers/codes, which may vary in lengths: c.f. [2] versus [3]

"Consistent display" means removing all separators, which is detrimental to readability.

But, moving the separators to invalid places is misleading (verschlimmbessern)

@ToraNeko:The English-language translations of the Monogatari Series novels and of the Bakemonogatari manga use the ISBN format 978-1-XXXXXX-XX-X. @ToraNeko: I'm looking at my copy of Bakemonogatari Volume 10 right now, and the ISBN printed on the cover is 978-1-647290-07-8. Since that is what is printed on the book, that is the format we use. In the end, it doesn't really matter where the separating characters go since the last digit is a checksum value based upon the values of all 13 digits preceding it, regardless of any separating characters. Be careful, as some people could view pointing at telephone country codes to prove a point as "other stuff exists" or a sign of bad faith. I understand you are trying to defend your stance, so I do not take any offense.
One more thing, since this discussion is regarding article content, the more appropriate place for this is at the article's talk page, not on my personal talk page. You remove some format tools. That's not my personal edition, and i show you to examples below: In 2018 CONCACAF Women's Championship the alienation is CENTER.

As well , Nowhere on the Page was written about the state of Jalisco, so i aded this little information for a firs time in the page. The correct information that i published was correct: In 2022 AFC Women's Asian Cup the page shows that they will be held in India (Maharashtra specifically), as well the page shows this example:

So please don't tell me thai i violates WP:NOTTRIVIA...Because i only want to contribute to that page: CONCACAF Women's Championship, :( (sad face) I can DELETE ALL editions, but don't tell me that i violates WP:NOTTRIVIA. I'm not a bad person.

I had already dismissed the mentions of other IAAF competitions as WP:OSE, but I continued to consider the question of which athletics competitors are presumed notable, which was not germaine to this subproposal. I just wanted to say thank you again for producing that template for club seasons, it is much appreciated. I had tried to create one for national team result pages but with my limited knowledge of Wiki code, I had hit some problems that I didn't know how to solve. I hope you don't mind, but I have copied some of the code from your example to solve those issues and create User:Stevie fae Scotland/Football result list‎. I would very much appreciate any feedback on what I've put together, especially if there is anything I have missed out.

Service Award Ribbons

So I'm a big fan of ribbons for compact award display, and I noticed that you created nice SVG versions of all of the updated service awards, but they don't quite match the size/proportions of the older ribbons (which are still used for all of the barnstar ribbons), nor the shadows, although that difference is less distracting. As someone who has done some image editing but never messed with SVG files, just how much effort would have to go into recreating the look of File:Ribbon.xcf or File:Original Ribbon.png or the like? I'm certainly not asking you to, I'm just wondering if you have a quick estimate of how big of a timesink it would be...or if it's even possible. VernoWhitney (talk) 15:23, 4 May 2022 (UTC)

No, I figured the stripes would be easy. I'm talking about the darker muddled area in the upper left and towards the lower right of the ribbon along with a touch of darkness right in the middle of the ribbon. The texture would be the little variations in color within each of the horizontal lines that make it look some sort of fabric, rather than just using a single solid color for each line. Hey, so I just edited 30 minutes ago that the match between Brazil and Argentina has been definitely suspended and I think it was unfairly deleted. I have many sources that verifies what I wrote. @Franco el estudiante: FIFA has ordered that the match be played on September 21 as part of qualifying, and we have sources including press releases and the match information page to support that. @Kante4: I thought the "Latest call-up" column only listed the date and was not aware that it included the opponent or tournament. It's now moot since my changes were reverted (rather than the column percentages being edited to fix it), so now four of the columns will have random widths again. — Jkudlick ⚓ (talk) 23:42, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
