Ted Hartley

Hi, as a compromise I have removed a date of birth altogether. Your source does not support November 1934 – it just gives an age. Other sources, such as this suggest 1924. Take this to the talk page of the Ted Hartley page – my own talk page is not the appropriate place for this conversation. I already tried to start a conversation about this in the past but nobody engaged. It would be good to get something concrete to resolve this once and for all, but sadly I imagine we may have to wait until an obituary surfaces. Hello, did you check Turkish sources? I am Turkish and I evaluated the sources. The police officer was outside of duty hours, and Turkish government dismissed that officer. Hi @Kadı: – In order for something to be deemed as "police brutality", it really must be stated in a court of law or by an authoritative body. Just because the media says it, doesn't make it so. Everyone is entitled to a fair trial before they are deemed to be guilty. The officer in question may have a valid explanation e.g. self defence, as such we wait until all the facts are known before we add such a category.
