User talk:Jkaharper/2014/AugustLouise Abeita ChewiwiNice to start out the conversation by threatening to ban me. Too bad you didn't come to the funeral, had there been a coffin, you could have tipped it as you leaned over to tell her "there's no obit, you're fine..." To my knowledge, there has not been a death notice, or obit published, my cousins are in charge of that and I have no control over that aspect. Shall I get a death certificate and include a jpeg, or might I run afoul of your copyright enforcement? JesAbeita (talk) 16:52, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
Were were you when users edited in wrong info on who my great-grandfather is? (Louis, not Pablo Abeita, if it comes up again.) So, now it looks like some people did this http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSob=c&GSlh=1&GSsr=41&GRid=133252559&. Do you consider that "published?" Also, my cousins (my Auntie's kids) are in charge of the obit, this is just my thing- hate bad information pushed by outsiders. JesAbeita (talk) 17:30, 24 August 2014 (UTC)
I wasn't suggesting you put the bad info out there that time, I just want to know why my, factually-accurate edit was jumped on (and why you threatened me with a ban off the bat,) while bad info stood for a long time (it's what prompted me to contribute time to this in the first place,) without similar intervention. Also, what do you do when published information is wrong? - it happens a lot in my areas of interest. JesAbeita (talk) 19:11, 24 August 2014 (UTC) |
