Hi, Jj137. I wonder if you might be able to give some thoughts on User:Jimad (see also his talk page), particularly with respect to his persistently and long-running belligerent manner here? Thanks. —Scheinwerfermann (talk) 18:30, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for reviewing. I have been focusing with editing on the mainspace these last few days, and I hope I can continue that. Thanks again.--RyRy5talk21:27, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Vandalism by Troll
Dear Jj137
This user continues blunt vandalism here [1], also here [2] and also removed vandalism warning from his talk page [3]. He also also investigated for sockpopetry [4]. He also vandalized my talk page [5]. He also is stalking other users and harassing them: [6] We need your help, I warned him on his talk page but he keeps removing the warning tag. Thanks a lot. Iberieli (talk) 22:16, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
Questions
Hi, I noticed you were reverting vandalism, one of them I was going to but you beat me. I was wondering if you have any comments, questions, or suggestions.--RyRy5talk02:01, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
I am new here. I am just wondering what was wrong with my contribution to the article Publius Enigma in the possible solutions section and why was it removed? Thanks.
938HBOM (talk) 02:13, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi there. Part of that text looks OK, but we're trying to build a neutral encyclopedia here, not our opinions or look of things. Some of the content you added seemed to be your "thoughts" on something, if I am correct (see the last half-sentence for an example of what I'm talking about). Please tell me if I got that wrong. Thanks. jj137(talk)02:19, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
HI jj137, I think you're right. I don't have any reference material except for the pictures, though, and the lyrics. I should have omitted the "I can only speculate" part. Thanks. Can I try again, or did I blow it? 938HBOM (talk) 04:13, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
No. Click on your watchlist. You should see your watchlist at this time. Highlight the top change on your watchlist. Then right right clixk on the highlighted text and click on “Check4Usage” Next, go to “Custom” and check “Don’t stop monitoring after first change” and change Refresh and check after _____ (your time) seconds/hours etc. If you close the page it will stop checking. - Milk'sFavoriteCookie00:13, 31 March 2008 (UTC)
Hi! We're looking to finish the BCAD drive within the next few days. People do sign up and find themselves, for a variety of excellent reasons, unable to complete their range as quickly as they intended. I see you've done about a third of your range. Will you be able to finish it soon or may I allocate it to another editor as it is important we wrap this drive up before the main one starts mid-April-ish. If I don't hear within 24 hours, I'll assume that you have no objections. All the best,--ROGER DAVIEStalk07:29, 1 April 2008 (UTC)
I want to create some more templates relating to French communes. How did you type the dot character used in this template? Kiwipete (talk) 00:26, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
I don't remember; I think I just copy and pasted it from somewhere else and then pasted it every time I needed it. jj137(talk)01:15, 2 April 2008 (UTC)
This month is spring practice season for most college football teams. Be sure to update your team's season article and grab a few pictures if you're lucky enough to be on hand for a spring game. Remember, even the worst picture of all is better than the picture that wasn't taken.
The number of College Football Good Articles being added to the project continues to grow. Nine new GAs were added in March, bringing the total of GAs produced this year to 29. At the current rate, the project will produce 116 GAs this year, nearly three times the number of GAs that were produced in the past two years. Keep up the great work!
With all the new GAs and FAs produced by the project, reviewers and commenters are continuously needed. Keep an eye on the project talk page, WP:FAC and WP:GAC for new college football articles to review and comment upon. Even one suggestion or support message goes a long way toward helping create a new Featured or Good Article.
Welcome to the latest issue of the College football WikiProject newsletter! I hope that you're enjoying regular updates about the goings on of college football on Wikipedia, but if not, feel free to add your name to the "no delivery" section on the newsletter signup page.
I encourage everyone to make regular visits to the College Football Portal and perhaps make it your Wikipedia entry page instead of using the Main Page as your gateway. Nominations for selected articles and pictures are always welcome, and can serve as a great way to show off that new article you just shepherded to Good Article status or the great picture you took the last time you were at a game.
Comments and suggestions on improving the newsletter are always welcome, and help me improve it on a monthly basis. Keep contributing and editing, and don't hesitate to contact me or post on the College Football Wikiproject talk page if you need help or just want someone to look over your article.

Welcome to the Green Bay Packers WikiProject. As you should know, we are a group dedicated to making the Green bay Packers not only the best team in the NFL, but also the best covered on Wikipedia. This is a great way to show your support for America's best small-town team. Right now, we are working on creating a solid base for the WikiProject, so that we will be able to easily coordinate our efforts to succeed in our main goal, expand the articles! Nothing is set in stone, and all users are on an equal footing, so comments, suggestions, concerns, and being BOLD is welcome! Please come take a look at the project page, and become part of our community. If you feel you can help out in coordinating certain parts of the project, or have some new ideas, please let us know!
The Green Bay Packers Wikiproject has three specific collaboration efforts, and one open collaboration effort:
Nominated Collaborations- As with most WikiProjects, we have an area for members to nominate articles that need attention.
Featured and Good Content Collaboration- The Project also has a specific area for members to receive help with building an article up to GA-Class, FA-Class, or FL-Class. Every B-Class article within the scope of the project has been identified as a candidate for the area of collaboration. Nominations of new articles or of lower-class articles are also welcome in this area.
Stub Collaboration- One major key to this Project is to make sure that no top-importance and ultimately high-importance article is a stub. This area of collaboration is for members to work on de-stubbing important articles within the project's scope. As with the other collaboration efforts, this area is open to member nominations.
Special Collaboration- This last area is for special collaboration efforts. This area will not always be in use, but is usually used for collaboration efforts that focus on adding certain aspects to every page. Currently, the special collaboration is focused on adding an appropriate Infobox to every article that requires one. Hopefully, we will be able to get the services of a bot to automatically search our categories and create a list here, which will allow members to add the appropriate infobox to each article.
Currently, the project will employ the work of a bot, SatyrBot, to help the project tag new article with our project banner. Every two weeks, the bot will search every article in each Green Bay Packers category, and any article found to be in the category without a project tag will be listed here. Any article on this page should be tagged with our banner, making sure to assess the article by class and importance.
A worklist showing each article under the project's scope by class and importance can be found here, with a log of changes of assessments found here, and the project's statistics can be found here.
Please invite new members by either using a personal message, or {{InvitePackersProject}}. If new members join, please welcome them with {{WelcomePackersProject}} while also giving them a personal welcome.
To stop receiving this newsletter, or to receive it in a different format, please let us know here. If you have any news or any announcements to be broadcast, do let us know.
The Military history WikiProject Newsletter : Issue XXV (March 2008)
The March 2008 issue of the Military history WikiProject newsletter has been published. You may read the newsletter, change the format in which future issues will be delivered to you, or unsubscribe from this notification by following the link. Thank you. This has been an automated delivery by BrownBot (talk) 01:34, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
I'm a sophomore in high school, and won't have that much under my belt after June 1. You, on the other hand, look like you have a lot of stuff on your plate. I agree it's really tedious, but I'm gonna make a habit of doing it every two or three days. Whatever you can do is good enough for me. Lesserm (talk) 22:43, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
That was a good faith edit. I think I accidentaly reverted the wrong page. If you look at my contribs, you should see alot of reverting. Only 1 of them was a mistake. Well, you don't have to give it to me if you don't want to.--RyRy5talk02:06, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
I see you created an admin coaching subpage for Terrier. Can you create one for me. I think it can help me learn more about adminship, admin tools, ect. Thanks.--RyRy5Talk to RyRy?20:57, 5 April 2008 (UTC)
The section looks good. However, I wouldn't rely on my opinion alone, as I'm not exactly a great article writer :) jj137(talk)15:05, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
There might be, although typo bots can't do that much (it is a bot, and lacks things like common sense, good judgement, etc.). jj137(talk)15:20, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
Hello, Jj137! A project you are involved in, The WikiCup ,has signed up for automatic message delivery from StormBot, an automated bot account using AutoWikiBrowser. StormBot will be delivering you news and notifications about the project on your talk page. If anything is wrong or you have any suggestions to make, please notify the creator, Stormtracker94. Thank you. This message was delivered by StormBotStormBot (talk) 17:34, 6 April 2008 (UTC)
SUWA's (the wrester) FFF finisher stands for Flying Facefuck Facebuster, not "Furious Fatal Finisher" as it's currently listed as here on Wikipedia. Puro wrestling sites have his move on file and they've listed as the Flying Facefuck Facebuster, so leave it alone. Thanks.

Hello! You are reading the first newsletter WikiProject Lakers. We hope you like it, but we know that there will always be improvements to be made. If you have any suggestions, please post them on Basketball110 or Thisisborin9's talk page. Any feedback on the news or format will also be graciously accepted at the projects' talk page. Thank you, and enjoy, Basketball110
Collaboration of the Month
This feature isn't ready yet. You will be notified when it is.
After an effort by several users including AlbertHerring, Basketball110, Blofeld of SPECTRE, Jj137, and Editorofthewiki, the project is out of inactivity (the removal of the template here). We have also completed creating the articles on towns. Now we are working on adding infoboxes and demographics to them.
Features
Featured French commune articles of the week:
Arbellara, an example of what a village with 152 inhabitants is supposed to look like.
The push for cantons has begun! See Canton of Champagne-en-Valromey for an example of what the canton articles are to look like. We want to get articles on all of them by the end of the month.
Thanks so much for your help. I'll get started on Philly-fying the page tonight and getting a list of pages in there that need work. Killervogel5 (talk) 17:15, 8 April 2008 (UTC)
Hi. User RC-0722 (who has adopted me) suggested I contact you regarding the original article for the Cone Type CVT. The original article is in Japanese. I would like to see it, to make sure my edition of that section is correct--or at least closer to what the author meant. Can you tell me where to look? --BudgieBirdChan0211 (talk) 15:09, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
According to a new policy change implemented on the 4th, you can not block confusing usernames without asking them to change it first and them ignoring the request. Instead they should be place in Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention/holding pen to be watched and checked on to see if they respond to the request, fail to respond and continue to edit anyways (thats where we block), or do not continue to edit (no need to block). This is an attempt to not bite the newbs. Cheers, Tiptoetytalk17:46, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
No worries there bud, I just recently got yelled at for doing the same thing. I kind wish someone would have posted on AN or something. (There is a note about it in the UAA header if you are interested). Tiptoetytalk17:59, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
...Now I see it. Maybe they should have made it stand out a little more so that it can be more easily seen. It is hard to notice a simple addition to the template. jj137(talk)19:10, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
OK, thanks. I understand. Some of these translations into other languages are only partial. For example, look at Spanish: only one paragraph. And in the original Japanese article, I find no mention of the Warko transmission. Thank you for your help. --BudgieBirdChan0211 (talk) 18:20, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
I understand. Your explanations have been complete and answered all my concerns about the concept of translations on Wikipedia.
Thanks you for your patience! If I can ever be of help to you, please ask! Oh, and by the way, I read on your Talk that there is a problem with some user names being clumsy and long--like mine. I would like to change it. Where do I go?--BudgieBirdChan0211 (talk) 19:29, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Project News
There are currently no unassessed articles in the Wikiproject. This was done because of a great help and effort by Basketball110, and Stormtracker94. The main project page received a redesign that was blatantly was stolen from the Green Bay Packers Wikiproject. It is encouraged that all members keep both the main project page and the main project talk page on their watchlist to see any new information that may be posted there. The project currently has a total of twenty-two (22) members. It is suggested that you invite anyone who may be interesting in contributing in this project. When inviting someone please use {{WP CELTICS INVITE}}. If they do accept the invite, please welcome them with {{WPCELTICSwelcome}}. Our main goal for the project to bring Boston Celtics up to featured article status still stands. The article was chosen as March's collaboration and a good amount of effort was done improving the article by 8-Hype, Stormtracker94, and RC-0722. Your help is appreciated.
The project currently has one featured article: Bill Russell, and four (4) good articles: Bob Cousy, Bruce Bowen, Dennis Johnson, and Red Auerbach.
The project collaboration for the Wikiproject for March was Boston Celtics. April’s collaboration is Paul Pierce. The article could use some cleanup and significant improvements. The article was nominated by Basketabll110 and the nomination is avaliable here. It is recommended that you put Paul Pierce on your watchlist to track all changes that occur in the article. You will be notified with May's nominations are taking place.
I've undone this block that you did for a confusing username. I see you were unaware of the policy change but are aware now. But even beyond that, I can't see why this name is confusing - it's merely a foreign-looking but pronounceable name. Mangojuicetalk18:52, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your support in my RFA, that didn't quite make it and ended at 120/47/13. There was a ton of great advice there, that I'm going to go on. Maybe someday. If not, there are articles to write! Thanks for your support. Lawrence § t/e17:59, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
Thank you for your comments on my RFA. Even though it failed with 28 supports, 42 opposes, and 15 neutrals, I am grateful for the suggestions and advice I have received and I do hope to improve as a Wikipedian. If you ever need my help in any endeavor, feel free to drop me a line. --Sharkface21719:31, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

I had someone offer to nominate me for admin, and I was wondering what you thought of my chances of succeeding. My reason for asking this is that I don't want to waste the community's time with a dead-on-arrival RfA and possibly take a blow to my wikimood. I greatly appreciate your advice on this and I await your response. Thanks. Thingg⊕⊗19:05, 18 April 2008 (UTC)

Jason Terry was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the tenth overall pick in the 1999 Draft. His excellent performance earned him a spot on the NBA All-Rookie Team, becoming only the second Hawk to do so. Within a year, he became one of the team's best players and top scorers. The Mavs showed interest in making him a part of their team, and he was traded to the Mavs in 2004, just prior to the start of the season. A solid shooter and three-point shooter, Terry has become an integral part of the Mavs lineup. Historically, he has had mixed performance in the playoffs.
The collaboration voting and nominating continues. More nominations and votes are needed before a Collaboration of the Month can be selected - as of now, we have absolutely none. Please put votes or suggestions here.

I think its great that admins like you can do something like setting up a pretend RFA and help out a fellow wikipedian that wants to become an admin like RyRy5. Im sure the user is in safe hands with all the users helping but a fellow admin doesn't believe its a worthwhile thing, the pretend RFA that is. Take a look here Of course RyRy5 must be prepared for comments like this and more, the real RFA can be a nightmare forever that you can never wake up from if there not ready for it. Good luck with it. Roadrunnerz45 (talk) 09:31, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Apologies for the late newsletter. The editor has been swamped lately due to school and vacation. If in the future a fortnightly delivery schedule cannot be kept, this newsletter will be delivered monthly.

The 2008 NFL Draft and spring football have both wrapped up. Be sure to update your teams' pages with the latest info from the draft and with roster changes at the end of spring practice. If you've taken any photos at your teams' spring games, now's the time to upload them to Wikimedia Commons. Even if you don't have a place for the image right now, putting it on Wikimedia allows other editors to use your photo in their articles. It is most certainly not a priority, and anyways I asked Nousernamesleft to be my coach too. Too bad they were also busy. :) Besides, I'm working to get Félix Houphouët-Boigny featured, and whenever you aren't as busy coach me. I understyand I probably shouldn't run for adminship in the next three months due to my block and my several problems with several users. I have totaly reformed, and perhaps I won't ask for admiship, instead focusing on editing and making more FAs and GAs (my current count is 1 FA, Lazare Ponticelli). Thanks for being willing to be my coach, and here is one of those stupid smile templates:
