I have no idea how to use the Talk page and am not sure if I'm doing this right. We don't have a news release or anything about CVTV's new logo. The logo came with the redesign of their website almost two years ago. We did send a news release out about that change, but it's no longer on our website because it's been nearly two years since it came out. Sorry! Clark – Vancouver Television LogoHiya! I see that you changed the logo for CVTV, which is cool. I moved out of the area a few years back, so I had no idea that it changed. As far as I'm aware, these sorts of logos aren't acceptable to be added to commons, since they're Non-free content (the station owns the copyright to their logo, obviously). They may have released it with some sort of commons license however, which would make it acceptable to add to commons. Anyway, the old logo is orphaned now, which is kindof a shame. If there was some press release or something about changing the logo, then maybe we could add something to the article and re-add the old logo. |
