Finding constancy in naming of "Apostle" position

I have opened a discussion at List of members of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles (LDS Church) in order to find some constancy in naming. Before I accidentally impose my personal view, it would nice to have a real consensus of proper naming of "Apostle". Changes regarding "To the One" on Boyd Packers wikipedia page

Please do not undo my pages. I have added the pamphlet to the "selected works" section because this is an EXTREMELY important piece of doctrine taught by him. MANY have cited this speech and the pamphlet as causing severe mental anguish. Also, the BYU has removed any reference to it from their speeches page - which includes virtually every speech given at BYU since the 1940's. Why did they remove this talk? Boy Packers teaches about homosexuality - which is what this pamphlet is about - is very relevant today. First, his teachings contrast starkly with the current teachings of the LDS church. This is an important discrepancy to document. Second, with the supreme courts recent ruling regarding same sex marriage it will be important for users to see the history of the LDS churhces teaching on the topic.

The link I included is to a PDF document. The LDS church and BYU's website has removed all traces of this publication. As can be seen by following the link it is clearly published by the church. It is probably still floating around local meetinghouses.

The revert is obviously baseless. The link I provided does cover his Priesthood, at least, at the second paragraph:

Melchizedek is a priest (He 7:3) for whom there is no record of his father or mother, his genealogy, his birth ("beginning of days"), or his death ("end of life). Careful records of all these things had to be kept for a person from the tribe of Levi to serve as a priest. Melchizedek is a priest of a totally different kind, that is, he is not a priest from the order of the Levites (i. e. a priesthood handed down from a Levite father to his Levite son).

I notice that the reference of Catholic Encyclopedia provides similar (not identical) information, so what's your standard for a qualified external link?

Talk pages aren't "cleaned up." They are archived after an appropriate amount of time, and, as regular users of Wikipedia, we don't have clearance to do that. Only administrators do. Jgstokes I have worked with Drmies for about 8 years here. I find it very unlikely that they would use multiple accounts to gain an advantage. I don't know RichardOSmith but keep in mind this person has been here for over 4 years and made thousands of contributions here.
