Regarding Indian Space Programme Template.
Hi,
In the row mentioning satellites you had reverted my edit from IRNSS-1 to IRNSS, wouldn't it be better if we can list out the satellites or mention the link to template for satellite series say 'Remote Sensing Satellites' where we can give the links like IRNSS-1,IRNSS-2 etc..simply means just for disambiguation.
Thanks
Gaurav Pruthitalk05:09, 6 February 2013 (UTC)
No, I don't think the idea you gave would be nice. After editing the template it really looks comparatively less congested and after all I have mentioned each satellite in brackets near the name of satellite series.Jayadevp13 (talk) 12:25, 7 February 2013 (UTC)
Its fine, I ws just taking your view ,BTW that looks better too. Thanks a lot.
No need to mention it dude. It's Wikipedia and a template relating to India. We all need to work together to improve it. By the way should we add links to individual satellites in INSAT & GSAT series as added in RISAT & IRNSS? What do you think? Waiting to hear your view.
Good work man. I have added the satellite of INSAT series also. You can take a look of it here-Template:Indian space program. Again waiting to hear from you.
How do I know the total number of edits I have ever made in Wikipedia except manualy counting them in the User Contributions page. Please help. I will be thankful for your help.
Hi Jayadevp13. If you scroll down to the bottom of your contributions page, there's a link that says "edit count". You can click on this link to find out how many edits you have made so far and of what type. You can also examine the edit history of other editors using the same tool. -- Dianna (talk) 05:10, 9 February 2013 (UTC)
Thank you. Both are actually different templates. One gives the power stations in Uttar Pradesh, a state in India while the other gives the power stations owned by the company NTPC. It has plants all over India. So no need of deleting any of the templates. I am soon going to categorise and de-orphan the template. Opinions sought.
Done. Don't worry! Another time, for any page where you are the only contributor, you can request deletion by putting {{db-author}} at the top (two curly brackets each side). To turn a page into a redirect, you can simply edit it yourself. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 10:16, 17 February 2013 (UTC)
This help request has been answered. If you need more help, please place a new {{help me}} request on this page followed by your questions, or contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page.
"Deleted edits" are edits to pages which have since been deleted. They aren't necessarily a bad thing; an efficient New Page Patroller will have "deleted edits" for all the speedy-delete tags s/he puts on pages which are then deleted. The total on the Edit Counter doesn't agree with the total in Special:Preferences, and I don't know why that is. The place to ask that would be WP:VPT. JohnCD (talk) 17:45, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
Live edits are edits to pages that are currently visible; while deleted edits are edits to pages that have been deleted (well actually, hidden from public view). All edits normally count as live edits, but if you edit a page and it is later deleted, all of your edits to that page are counted as deleted edits. The Anonymouse (talk | contribs) 05:47, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
Also, I don't know exactly why, but for some reason Preferences shows total edits (live edits + deleted edits), but the edit counter shows them individually. I don't think there is any particular reason why, but someone else may know. The Anonymouse (talk | contribs) 05:50, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
There are two ways to get an edit count: either by using the user_editcount field of the user table in the database, which is the count displayed in your preferences, or by counting your contributions individually, which is the method used by tools such as X!'s edit counter. The database field is just a number which combines live and deleted edits, while the tools count live and deleted contributions separately. Also, the database field does not count edits made while moving a page (among other things), while the live tools do. Graham8707:37, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Sapphire (satellite) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that your page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. PKT(alk)12:53, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
Your intention appears to be good, but don't set up a title with no article content to go with it. It's far better to write the information in your user pages then transfer it to regular article space when it's ready to go. PKT(alk)12:53, 4 March 2013 (UTC)
Thank you for telling. Actually after creating the page, I was looking for more information and references when the page was deleted. Now there is no problem since the page has been created again with information in it. I will try not to do such a mistake again.
Hi Jayadev,
Hope you are doing well, just want to request you if you can check the feasibility if we can start 'WikiProject:Indian Space Programme' where we can aggregate the work we can do for Indian Space Programme, I haven't find any any such programme perhaps there might be one.It will require your contribution too if we can, that will be of great worth
Thanks a lot Gaurav Pruthitalk11:25, 8 March 2013 (UTC)
I think it is a superb idea. Also, there would several others users who would be interested in serving the WikiProject. I have searched a lot and didn't find any WikiProject similar to this one. However the two points which may create some problems/confusions are
Till now no WikiProject has been created dealing with the space programmes of a specific country. Maybe that there might be some opposition although it's chances are very less.
Wether the name of the WikiProject would be Indian Space Programme or Indian Space Program?
Please, please, pleasedon't do that - the spaceflight project was assembled out of several subprojects which were completely inactive due to a split editor base. Please simply join in the project work there, you'll be most welcome! SalopianJames (talk) 14:59, 9 March 2013 (UTC)
I was thinking of region specific work, may be if its possible to create subproject under WP:SPACEFLIGHT, that will continue exposition of the work, if somebody became inactive and WP:SPACEFLIGHT will continue to be the parent project. Looking for more inputs. Gaurav Pruthitalk04:58, 11 March 2013 (UTC)
If you can demonstrate that several editors would be interested, I would suggest proposing a working group within WikiProject Spaceflight. Unfortunately we never actually defined the procedure for creating one, but just create a new topic on WT:SPACEFLIGHT explaining what you hope to achieve, setting some goals, and showing people are interested in participating. We can then discuss the proposal, and help you get started if it looks viable. --W.D.Graham21:56, 12 March 2013 (UTC)
Please stop adding inappropriate tags to articles, as this just wastes other editors' time and damages the encyclopedia. If you have serious concerns about articles like these, please comment on their talk pages in cases where the problem is not obvious to other editors from the content of the article. Thanks. PamD15:25, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
Actually what I wanted to tell/show was that only the opening dates and the metro service to which the stations belonged to were written. The article didn't give any other significant information. At least the facilities available should have been written. Moreover other informations like the reactions of the people towards the opening of the station need to be written. It could be positive (transport for people have become easier or it provided employment oportunities) or negative (may be problems caused by land acquisition or any other such problems). This is the reason for adding {{too few opinions}} tag. There were actually no mention of any opinions.
I accept that the tag {{out of date}} was added by mistake.
Waiting to hear you views on my explanation. Sorry if my edits were disruptive.
All stub articles, and most other articles, are in need of expansion. That's what the stub tag is for.
{{Too few opinions}} should be reserved for cases where there are political or other viewpoints - it's not the same as "too little information" which is what you seem to want to say! If a particular area is especially lacking in an article, make a comment on the talk page (or add it yourself). If a section is very inadequate, you can add {{expand section}}. These station articles could probably be expanded in many ways - the architecture of their buildings, any controversy before they were built, the important role they play in the network, the origin of the station name (I'm just guessing, for all of these). But I think you added the wrong tag.
I noticed similary that you'd tag-bombed Obesity in Brazil. Are you saying that the viewpoint that it isn't a problem should be included? Or just that, again, it needs expansion? What's "out of date" there - are you seriously concerned that the statistics quoted are about a year old?
Please slow down and think about the tags you add to articles. Less is sometimes more. "Unreferenced" and "Notability" are usually the most important where relevant. Happy editing! PamD16:33, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
PamD beat me to it! Though your enthusiasm is welcome, Jayadevp13, you seem to be over-tagging articles, rather than highlighting the most important problem. For example New Wave (Malayalam film genre) has three tags which essentially say the same thing. With Off the Grid (food organization) you tagged it as a stub, but then said it was long enough to be divided into sections! Please take a little more time to consider whether one tag will do the same job as two (or three). All the best! Sionk (talk) 19:10, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
And I've just found your tags on Katsuki Hagiwara where (among over unnecessary tags) you give a cleanup tag with statement "The references are in Japanese language. Trusted English sources need to be found." This is just not true - see WP:NOENG which says "Because this is the English Wikipedia, English-language sources are preferred over non-English ones, assuming English sources of equal quality and relevance are available.". That's "preferred", not "needed". Please slow down, check Wikipedia policies, and stop adding inappropriate tags to articles. Yes, I realise that one was tagged earlier today before you had started to receive feedback on your tagging. PamD20:28, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
Ok! I accept my mistakes and would try to correct them. Once again sorry for the disruptive edits. Please forgive me. It was my 1st day using page curation. Thank you for the comments & suggestions. It would do me good in the future. - Jayadevp13 (talk) 05:17, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
There's a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia, but it's an interesting journey. Good luck with your editing. And thanks for the coffee and the cookies - a kind thought. PamD08:28, 22 March 2013 (UTC)
You tagged this for speedy deletion as "no content" and "no context", although it quite clearly stated what it is, gave a link to its website, had an infobox with location information. Please read carefully the criteria for speedy deletion before nominating for deletion an article like this. The editor who removed the tags kindly assumed that the page had been edited since your tagging, though this was not the case. Your use of Page Curation in the last few days has been pretty disruptive to the encyclopedia, and I hope you will note the various comments and go more carefully in future. PamD23:15, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
Please see if this Wikipedian article is useful for you - Citing sources. Read it carefully. For making citing sources easier, you can also use the tool ProveIt. The instructions for using the tool are in the page itself.
Letting you know that I removed the TB you placed in User:DBigXray's talk as he has been inactive for so long since Aug'12.He is busy due to personal issues and indicated that he won't be returning for some time. Cheers TheStrikeΣagle15:42, 28 March 2013 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:A scaled down model of Brahmos-II at Aero India 2013.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:A scaled down model of Brahmos-II at Aero India 2013.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 23:30, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
The author of the work Shiv Aroor has sent me the required permissions for using the file to my e-mail address. I have forwarded the mail two times to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. One on Tue, Apr 2, 2013 at 05:19 AM (UTC) and the other on Fri, Apr 19, 2013 at 1:17 PM (UTC). Both of them have not got any response. Please help me if you can. If it's late again, the file will be deleted even-though I have the permissions. Thank You. - Jayadevp1311:18, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
According to Commons:Category:OTRS pending, there is a huge backlog for those e-mails: some messages as old as 100 days haven't been handled yet. I assume that your e-mails will be processed eventually, but it may take some time. The problem is that there seem to be too few people who handle those e-mails. --Stefan2 (talk) 13:02, 29 April 2013 (UTC)
When I used the tool Global user contributions tool at http://toolserver.org/ it shows that I have made 55 edits. It can be seen at this link. But when I use the SUL Info tool, it shows I have made zero edits - link. The Global user manager of Wikipedia also shows 0 edits - Special:CentralAuth/Jayadevp13. But when I see the My contributions page of the German Wikipedia, it shows my contributions. They are 55. I have manually counted them. The edit counter by Tparis also shows 55 edits in German wikipedia. But the worst of all things is that I have never in my life contributed to the German Wikipedia. Nor do I know a bit of German language. Please help in clearing this confusion.
Some of your contributions were imported to the German Wikipedia from the English Wikipedia. When this occurred, your username was copied over in the edit history, just as when a page is moved internally, you are shown as having edited at the new location. The reason for the discrepancy in edit counts has to do with differences in how edits are counted by different tools. Rich Farmbrough (talk·contribs) figured this out, by the way. Hope that helps. Hi Jayadevp13. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. For more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~ Amory(u • t • c)16:36, 14 April 2013 (UTC)
JKT48
Hi Jayadevp13. I submitted a rollback to an edit you rejected on the article JKT48. The reason why I submitted the rollback was because the revision you rejected was probably an attempt to revert possible vandalism. A name (Tryanto Kusumawardhana) was added on the list of the group members, and as I checked on the group's official website, there was no such name. The last rejected revision attempted to remove that name. I actually wanted to manually edit it and add an edit summary, however, I had accidentally clicked the rollback button and as such was unable to write an edit summary. That's why I sent you this to inform you about my intent. Anyways sorry for bothering and thank you. KuRiZu (talk) 13:57, 27 April 2013 (UTC)
Thank You for making the required changes, especially the data redundancy to satellite/payload pages. Since I am observing an enforced Wikibreak till May 31 2014 due to study and educational reasons, I won't be able to use my account. This is the reason why I am replying using my IP. If you have any message, please add it here or send me an e-mail.

A tag has been placed on Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi Memorial Lecture requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

Hello Jayadevp13, and welcome to Wikipedia. While we appreciate your contributing to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from your sources to avoid copyright or plagiarism issues here.
You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and a cited source. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. (There is a college level introduction to paraphrase, with examples, hosted by the Online Writing Lab of Purdue.) Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
In very rare cases (that is, for sources that are public domain or compatibly licensed), it may be possible to include greater portions of a source text. However, please seek help at the help desk before adding such content to the article. 99.9% of sources may not be added in this way, so it is necessary to seek confirmation first. If you do confirm that a source is public domain or compatibly licensed, you will still need to provide full attribution; see Wikipedia:Plagiarism for the steps you need to follow.
Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied without attribution. If you want to copy from another Wikipedia project or article, you can, but please follow the steps in Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, you are welcome to leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 21:59, 26 May 2013 (UTC)
Your recreation of Oceansat-1 violated WP:PARAPHRASE. I have removed the infringing text; please do not restore it. Please also read, and follow WP:PARAPHRASE. If you continue adding copyright violations to Wikipedia you are likely to be blocked from editing. --Demiurge1000 (talk) 23:38, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
What else should I use for these lines - "solid state camera which operated in eight narrow spectral bands" and "operated in four microwave frequencies in both the vertical and horizontal polarisations". You also removed/changed both of these lines - "Oceansat-1 had carried only two payloads. One was Ocean Colour Monitor (OCM) and the other was Multi - frequency Scanning Microwave Radiometer (MSMR)". Those were entirely mine. I have not restored/modified the text till now. I am waiting for your reply. Please also see WP:LIMITED. Thanks. Regards. - Jayadevp1314:38, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
While the words "dense science/technology description" are enough in themselves to make me want to run away, I think we can actually manage this one. :) This is a wonderful opportunity to use the recommendation at Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing to utilize information from multiple sources. By weaving together facts, you avoid following too closely on any one source. Because this is a truly significant piece of technology, I was able to find multiple sources discussing both of these payloads, and I have expanded the section accordingly. It's the best technique I know for avoiding following too closely on highly technical information. --Moonriddengirl(talk)11:30, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
Thanks a lot for your help. I was actually in a fix. It's incredible how you found those sources. Regards. - Jayadevp1314:27, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
I didn't actually understand what you are trying to say. Do you mean that I should add an entirely new talkback message, leaving the old one at it's place? But what is the use of it? - Jayadevp1315:33, 28 May 2013 (UTC)
But my question is, why should I do that? What is the use of it when you are going to come here itself by seeing any of the talkback message? - Jayadevp1314:40, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
Thank You for taking your time to review the article I nominated. I have modified the article as per your suggestions. Do take a look. However, I couldn't find any image for Mr. Pataudi at Wikimedia Commons. Please give me the link if you are able to find it. Once again thanks. Regards. - Jayadevp1312:31, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
Just a note I am new at DYK (but I have experience in writing article). So do not know till now how to took a DYK to main page. However it seems that you have added some extra details to the HIstory section. Solomon796812:39, 10 June 2013 (UTC)
This is with regard to a file I might be uploading either here or in Wikimedia commons (depends on this discussion). For example, I have taken a photo of some chocolates kept together produced by a particular company. Now, I would like to upload that file to show the company does produce chocolates or keep the images in a gallery. Now my problem is that I should tag it with which copyright tag? Should I tag it as my own work or otherwise? I would be grateful for your help. Regards. - Jayadevp1316:21, 17 June 2013 (UTC)
Your concern appears to be that you might in some way violate the chocolate maker's rights if you upload the photo? Kudes to you for your concern, Jayadevp! Your photo is your own work, so you can upload it to Commons. Use the {{PD-self}} or the {{Cc-zero}} copyright template. You will find more info at wp:File copyright tags. I know that by placing the template {{db-author}} on these pages, they will be deleted by an administrator, but since there are many, placing {{db-author}} on each them will be tiresome. Thank You for coming here to help me. Regards. - Jayadevp1307:54, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
I'm not sure why you accepted this edit at Mahira Khan. The IP added a number of BLP violations to the article, added a less appropriate maintenance tag, and removed a reliable source. This is the exact edit that led to the article being PC protected in the first place. Please ensure you do not accept pending changes to BLPs that add information such as religion, birth dates, or other such personal info if there is not a reliable source for verification. Thank you, --Jezebel'sPonyobons mots16:25, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
@Ponyo: I am really sorry about that. It was a case of me assuming good faith. It was a mistake, I accept. However the prizes she won were verified by me by going to the links he/she added. I had completely forgot about the BLP angle. Once again sorry and thank you for bringing it to my notice. And sorry for the late reply. Regards. - Jayadevp1316:14, 5 August 2013 (UTC)
This request for help from administrators has been answered. If you need more help or have additional questions, please reapply the {{admin help}} template, or contact the responding user(s) directly on their own user talk page.
Hello Mike Rosoft, Acroterion, WilyD, NawlinWiki and Nehrams2020. You are the five admins who deleted the page Zurker for the reason WP:CSD#G11 over a period of time. I have not called you here for complaining of any sort but to tell that I would like to recreate the page about the social networking site Zurker ([1]). I will first create it in my own namespace here which can later be moved to the original location. Now the things which I would like to ask are:
Can any of you place a short note on the page Zurker saying that the page is being developed here and all are requested to contribute. It is to avoid parallel developments of the same page in other users namespace which might lead to future clashes.
Zurker is a crowd funded project and I also am a part of it. Several people who would like to contribute might also own vshares (virtual shares bought for money). It is very less likely that there is a person who knows well about Zurker but doesn't own any vshares. So will there be any problem?
The page will be developed over a long period of time to maintain neutrality. You all can also occasionally take a look suggesting and making changes. - Jayadevp1316:56, 30 October 2013 (UTC)
Added template for admin help. Please do not remove {{admin help}} immediately so that more admins can see this. - Jayadevp1310:45, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
For future reference, there's no need to notify anyone in particular, least of all administrators, if you intend to recreate an article. The regular {{help me}} template would have been fine for your questions here -- any experienced editor could probably have given you this same advice.
I suggest using the Articles for Creation review process when you're done drafting, since the article has had problems in the past. The Article Wizard can help you start the draft with the correct templates.
As for your first request, no, it is not permitted to link from article space to user space, nor is it generally acceptable to have a "placeholder" page while an article is being developed. I doubt you'll run into any trouble, so I wouldn't worry about it.
Regarding your second question, that depends. Please read the conflict of interest guidelines for full details, but basically as long as you strictly adhere to NPOV and provide reliable sources to establish notability and to verify the information in your draft article, you should be OK. However, if you cannot write about the subject in a neutral manner, or if you cannot find reliable sources to establish notability, your draft will not be accepted. —Darkwind (talk) 13:50, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
@Darkwind: Thanks a lot. I might start the process of creating the article soon. Happy Halloween by the way. I believe that you celebrate it. Regards. - Jayadevp1315:07, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
Hindi Wiki
Dear Sir, Request you to kindly spare some of your valuable time for Hindi Wiki also. Indian language wikis are very despeartely lagging behind as compared to the number of users and as compared to other languages. I came to your page while checking cross links for Mangalyaan updation. Request your valuable contribution especially your knowledge about space projects. Thanks and Regards. --Manojkhurana (talk) 10:42, 5 November 2013 (UTC)
Hello and sorry for replying late. I was per-occupied with some other work. First of all let me tell you that I am at present in class 12th and as you may be knowing, I need to concentrate more on my education now. I myself was thinking of starting to edit the Hindi and Malayalam Wikipedia but I refrained since it would take away a huge chunk of my time. If you take a look at my recent contributions, you yourself might notice that I only edit occasionally and that for a very limited amount of time. Moreover, the truth is that I repeatedly make spelling mistakes in Hindi. This was also 1 of the reasons why I was not willing to go to Hindi Wikipedia earlier when I was having more time. I hope that you can understand my difficulties but I assure you that I will come to Hindi Wikipedia once I start having more time (I don't think it will happen soon). Thanks and nice to talk to you. Sir बोल कर चेहरा लाल कर दिया तू तो। Regards. - Jayadevp1312:31, 6 November 2013 (UTC)

Please, don't add interwikis inside the body of article, it is obsolete construction. Nowdays interwiki scheme uses Wikidata. If you wish to add links on the pages in another languages, add them by using Wikidata mechanics. --Slb nsk (talk) 06:07, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
I know that it is obsolete nowadays. I had actually rollbackedthis edit of yours by accidentally clicking at the wrong link without even seeing it (I was browsing from mobile at that time). But I had rectified the mistake within a minute when I realised what I had done. I believe that you understood what I meant. Do reply. - Jayadevp1312:21, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
Re: Barnstar
Wow, unexpected! Well, if you're wondering, I'm a designer and filmmaker myself- here's my IMDb profile. I'm working on a documentary about the CubeSat technology, with a particular emphasis upon Idaho National Laboraty's work on their new propulsion system. We've already interviewed Jordi Puig-Suari and Bob Twiggs, who created the technology, and will be completing the production portion over the next two weeks. DarthBottotalk•cont19:10, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
Cool! I didn't know I was talking to a person like you. Producing the documentary for a particular channel or releasing it in YouTube or both? If you release it on YouTube then do share a link. I would like to see it. All the best and continue your good work. Regards. - Jayadevp1301:53, 24 November 2013 (UTC)
Aadhaar
I've requested a Page Protection on this page. Neither of us can edit it till we have reached consensus. Since the contributing editor who developed that page has been permanently blocked for disruptive NPOV editing, we both need to guard against any reinsertion of text which does not conform to 5 pillars of wikipedia. Hope you understand.Notabede (talk) 19:24, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
I, Benison, hereby take the privilege to award you with the Journeyman Editor service awardfor your perfect and exemplary service to wikipedia with over 2000 edits... Please copy paste {{Journeyman Editor}} on your user page to display the award..

Thank You. Thanks a lot. I had completely forgot to check the no. of edits that I had made. By the way sorry for the late reply. My 1st pre-board has started & I was busy with it. Moreover I had some other work in Wikipedia. I will add it to Wikipedia along with other updates to my user page once I am free. Regards. - Jayadevp1314:42, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
Talkback
Hello, Jayadevp13. You have new messages at Wikipedia:ANI. Message added 20:58, 2 December 2013 (UTC). You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.
Note- This conversation originally took place in Notabede's talk page under the section name I reverted your edit. It was moved here by Jayadevp13 at 11:07, 3 December 2013 (UTC) for archiving purposes only since the other user had cleared the talk page of old conversations.
I am taking the unusual and irregular step of striking through this entire conversation which you have resurrected after I deleted it from my user:talk page. You may not understand it now, but be advised the decision to retain or delete User:Ravishyam_Bangalore's text on Aadhaar is determined by that text and not what you or I said about it. I am also warning you to not to convert this content dispute into a personality based issue of 'Notabede' deleting something. Its about RB and his content - not mine. So please also modify / reconsider your discussion on Talk:Aadhaar and start it afresh, and always Assume Good Faith.Notabede (talk) 13:06, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
No conversation is actually deleted. It is stored in history and can been seen anytime if wanted. So it would not make much difference if it is present here or not. It was moved here for easy linking and proper archiving so please do not strike out again. I think the new arrangement for attaining a consensus would be much more better than we both fighting. But you can still give your views above the vote subsection and your decision in the vote subsection. And please don't modify talk page conversations again. I still consider you as my friend coeditor. You are the only person with whom I had a real discussion here. - Jayadevp1316:30, 3 December 2013 (UTC)
Adding archive notice to this part to show that this conversation took part at some other place so please do not make any changes to it here. - Jayadevp1307:05, 4 December 2013 (UTC)

This is with regard to the article Aadhaar. After seeing the arguments of both you and Ravishyam Bangalore, I would like to present my views. I believe that your conclusions regarding the article are completely erroneous. The reasons are as follows:
The spelling of the article is right. Even if it is wrong then it just needs to be moved to a new name & not deleted.
Found no duplicate entries. If you did then link please.
It doesn't look like a case of original research since a lot of references are provided.
Article is somewhat neutral a specific section on the problems are given. I didn't look into the details. Even if it's non neutral then it wouldn't take much time to correct it.
I have reverted this edit of yours. Please properly explain here before reverting again. If you want then we can call an administrator to look into the matter. Regards. - Jayadevp1316:29, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
Ravishyam Bangalore is permanently blocked for continuous POV pushing and editing warring. After he WP:BOLDLY edited, I reverted him by redirecting the page to UIDAI as previous editors had also done. Please do not act as though you are acting on his behalf by reinserting his entire text back without achieving wp:consensus. Accordingly, I have no option but to revert you to prevent the text of the previous editor's NPOV to reenter Wikipedia without scrutiny and proper discussion.Notabede (talk) 17:00, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
I believe that Ravishyam Bangalore was blocked mainly because of issuing legal threats. Let us not talk about that issue, it is completely different. I am not here as a protector of what he has done. I did only what I thought was right. I believe you understand.
Now about your asking for the page to be protected by admins. I think you did the right thing. You blocked both of us from going on an edit war and stopped us from getting blocked. Thank You for that.
Now about our future steps. I recommend that a page Aadhaar/Sandbox be created with all the original content from the article. We and other editors can modify it from there and when it is fully ready according to the standards, it can be moved to the original place. I also propose that we should now continue our discussion about the article here. What do you think about my proposals? Please also tell your opinion about the 4 points that I mentioned above.- Jayadevp1310:55, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
I don't think you understand the way that Wikipedia works. A user created multiple pages with deceptive capitalisations surreptitiously (including by misusing his own user page) from which to push his POV on AADHAAR/UID and for which he was banned after several Admins heard him and reviewed his edit history. Now are you asking for all the content he added to be placed in a sandbox (which is meant for testing of wikipedia's syntax) with a view to reinsert his POV pushing back and somehow validate his edit as a starting point for other editors ? I regret that I cannot agree to this proposal. The text BOLDLY added by the banned user was removed under WP:BRD. Not 1 word of it gets back in anywhere in wikipedia (including on a sandbox) unless either there is consensus or you decide not to abide by principles of BRD. Consensus also means consensus achieved on the article talk page so there is a permanent record of discussion on it.Notabede (talk) 04:56, 1 December 2013 (UTC)
I fully understand how Wikipedia works. You are arguing about Ravishyam Bangalore just for the sake of it and wasting my time. You can read the entire conversation. Nowhere have I said that Ravishyam Bangalore didn't make any sort of POV pushing. He might have or might not have. He was originally banned for issuing legal threats. See for yourself. As I said earlier, I literally have no interest in him. Let him remained blocked, I don't care. What I have interest in is the article Aadhaar which he created. Who said to you that Sandbox can be used only for testing syntaxes? See the text clearly written at the top of the this template. Although written originally for a user sandbox, it is applicable to all sandboxes - "It serves as a testing spot and page development space." Page development could be anything. And if I am not following BRD till now then what am I doing? If I wanted then I could have restored the original article to the sandbox and could have started my work. But see what I am doing, discussing with you. Isn't it? If you still want to do nonsensical talks then do it here. Now take a break for 5 minutes and cool down and then let us discuss about the article here. Regards. - Jayadevp1307:34, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
