Hi, my response is in the article talk. 85.193.240.37 (talk) 20:40, 15 January 2017 (UTC) Formal mediation has been requestedThe Mediation Committee has received a request for formal mediation of the dispute relating to "Categorisation of birds by location". As an editor concerned in this dispute, you are invited to participate in the mediation. Mediation is a voluntary process which resolves a dispute over article content by facilitation, consensus-building, and compromise among the involved editors. After reviewing the request page, the formal mediation policy, and the guide to formal mediation, please indicate in the "party agreement" section whether you agree to participate. Because requests must be responded to by the Mediation Committee within seven days, please respond to the request by 30 January 2017. Discussion relating to the mediation request is welcome at the case talk page. Thank you. Request for mediation rejectedThe request for formal mediation concerning Categorisation of birds by location, to which you were listed as a party, has been declined. To read an explanation by the Mediation Committee for the rejection of this request, see the mediation request page, which will be deleted by an administrator after a reasonable time. Please direct questions relating to this request to the Chairman of the Committee, or to the mailing list. For more information on forms of dispute resolution, other than formal mediation, that are available, see Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mahoney, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Charles Mahoney. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.) While I know these are all ASM-related changes, only making the change on this page isn't constructive, as now the individual species articles don't match what's listed on the higher article. It's better to make the change on the species article first, then reflect them in the higher-lever article. This includes any renamings, which may require a formal move request, since article names are not governed by ASM but by our internal policies, mostly WP:COMMONNAME. For now, I'm reverting the changes to this page. - UtherSRG (talk) 12:01, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
Economy of Papua New GuineaRe: Economy of Papua New Guinea. That edit summary I gave (SD:NONE) was my typo that I had copy pasted from previous edits. It should have been WP:SDNONE. My mistake, sorry about that. Regardless, though, that short description should still be "None". Queensland's climateI notice you did an edit to the Queensland article in relation to the climate. However, the content you added (and content that preceded your edit) didn't appear to be based on the citations provided. So I trimmed back the content that did not appear to be supported by citations, but if you have citations for the information, please restore your content with the citations. I note that the climate table below is based on 2017 (according to the citaitons provided) so that probably needs updating too if you are interested in climate. Aside, for some strange reason not explained, the BoM are not using https but http now, so I have had to update the citations to the BoM accordingly so readers can click through.
