I think i got it right, but can you please check if I translated the two German sources (#14 and #15) in this guy's article correctly? The meaning is there, of course, but I always like to translate as accurately as possible.

  • From "sünder", which means "sinner" or "unholy" in German. With the other word ("rot", for red card in this case), how do you think we can merge the two together? The way I see it (I could very well be wrong, of course), "redlord" could mean "lord of the red cards", which would have little sense as it was his FIRST sending off. --193.137.135.2 (talk) 09:37, 3 February 2017 (UTC)

I'm not a native English speaker but when I read "redlord" I would also think he's a master of red cards. The literal translation of "Rotsünder" is "red sinner" but when I read this, I would think that the guy is red and a sinner, so that is also not a good translation. Maybe you could use a more free translation like "Mainz get tough: A fine for sent-off Rodriguez"? The information that got a red card is lost, but it is clear that he was sent-off the pitch and that is the most important point in my opinion. --Jaellee (talk) 15:54, 3 February 2017 (UTC)

WP:PSEUDOHEAD

I have updated the Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Players per WP:PSEUDOHEAD (sorry, I listed the wrong guideline earlier). I didn't like it first, but we do what makes sense across the project. The music project adopted it late last year and some editors have been updating band, musician and album articles to reflect. It's just second-nature to me now. Cheers. Translation of refs, the following: #3, not quite sure "urlaubsverzicht" is what I wrote; #11, no idea what a "luja" is and its connection to fists; #30, quite difficult to understand what is being conveyed, maybe my fault; #37, do not understand if "ab zu lumpi" is a reference to places, persons or an expression.

@GiantSnowman: According to {{cite web}} the correct parameter for the access date is |access-date=. The parameter |accessdate= still works, but I don't understand why you insist on replacing |access-date= with |accessdate=.
