Oscar Pistorius

If I'm correct, you were probably involved as a major contributor and a nominator of GAN. Due to recent events, there have been frequent editings lately. Also, the Talk:Oscar Pistorius has addressed concerns about its status. Could we collaborate to polish some potential GAs listed at the GA drive?

Remember your mentioning that repeatedly nominating articles for the GA drive was pointless if nobody would work on them? Last year, five articles that I adopted, then polished, achieved GA status: Coat of arms of Singapore, Hwa Chong Institution, Lee Choon Seng, Lyo and Merly and Marine Parade Community Building. There are plenty more potential GAs, including a dozen more Smuconlaw articles, some of Sengkang's 50+ DYKs and some of AngChenrui's 20+ DYKs. Their contributions deserve greater recognition and polishing such articles takes far less time than researching to write new GAs from scratch. Could we collaborate on the GA drive? --J.L.W.S. Replied to Bonkers on his talk page. Jack, I understand that your spare time is limited, so I suggest that you on focus on addressing concerns raised during GA reviews of the law and politics articles. I can handle the shorter articles by Aldwinteo, AngChenrui and Sengkang, only requesting your assistance when necessary. Only complex articles, such as 2010 Summer Youth Olympics, Languages of Singapore and Population control in Singapore would need help from both of us, though I would still try to do more. Perhaps we could rope in Mailer diablo for Singapore Airlines and Singapore Changi Airport? --J.L.W.S. The Special One (talk) 17:13, 6 September 2013 (UTC)
