Red Director (talk) 18:54, 6 September 2020 (UTC) I was one of the professional footballers that played for Fulham LFC. I was the first goalkeeper to sign a full time professional contract at Fulham LFC. I played in the 3 seasons that they were full time professionals. Won every domestic honour with them including the FA cup, league cup, charity cup etc. Played previously for Chelsea LFC and Wimbledon LFC. Was hoping I could have been added to the list of previous players. JBowry (talk) 18:59, 6 September 2020 (UTC)
Thanks for your help, have been struggling to find someone that knows how to add. Will give it a try. JBowry (talk) 19:16, 6 September 2020 (UTC) Fulham L.F.C.Hi Jody, thanks for the message. The Fulham L.F.C players listed are the ones who have their own articles - I've had a go at starting an article for you now: Jody Bowry. But the problem we've got is that Wikipedia's rules on who is "notable" enough for an article are still very heavily biased against female footballers. Basically in the English context you have to be capped at senior level or have played in the WSL after 2018 when it went "fully pro". I know you were full-time at Fulham but that on its own isn't enough under the current rules (which in my opinion are stupid). If you had any press cuttings etc. you could add them to the article as that would make it less likely to get deleted. Thanks again, Bring back Daz Sampson (talk) 17:39, 7 September 2020 (UTC) |
