As you can see, I'm a good citizen now, although I edit on weird topics. Importing pics here is a pain, I am scared to try for fear that someone may find I infringe something and then go to my talkpage and see... Well you know. Mattaidepikiw (talk) 05:41, 15 February 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 4
Hi. When you recently edited Al Warda al-baida, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Musical (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

User script listing cleanup project
I'm leaving this message for known script authors, recent contributors to Wikipedia:WikiProject User scripts/Scripts, and those who've shown interest in user scripts.
This scripts listing page is in dire need of cleanup. To facilitate this, I've created a new draft listing at Wikipedia:WikiProject User scripts/Scripts cleanup. You're invited to list scripts you know to be currently working and relevant. Eventually this draft page can replace the current scripts listing.
If you'd like to comment or collaborate on this proposal, see the discussion I started here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject User scripts#Scripts listing cleanup project. Thanks! Equazcion (talk) 04:33, 25 Mar 2012 (UTC)

I already miss you! You are the most principled person I ever "met" on that cyber reality of ours. Your home is with us! We are the best, and I mean the BEST on the internet for comedy. - I do this for fun, too. I like this place; it may be a bloody encyclopaedia, of all things, part of a pile of other weird projects, but it... they're nice, which is one thing that Uncyclopedia just plain ain't much of the time, and that has unfortunately taken its toll on me. I'm sorry, but for all our sakes I have to stay away for now. Consider me on indefinite wikibreak until such time as I may or may not wander back, though if you absolutely do need something in the meantime - things fixed, abusefilter monkeyed, scripts updated, people you don't like quietly taken out in the night - you know where to find me. Not here, though. Shoo. This page is for Wikipedia and squirrels. Especially squirrels. — Isarra (talk) 08:40, 25 March 2012 (UTC)

- No worries, man. You still don't seem to have it quite right, though - from the looks of things, you just pasted it when you signed. While that works, there is a much better way to do it - go to your preferences, scroll down a little to the 'Signature' section, and paste the code into the space. Then check the box immediately under it to 'Treat the above as wiki markup.'. Saving that, you should then be able to sign with four tildes (~~~~) like normal, which will produce the new signature and a timestamp (date) automatically. And that way it'll work with scripts, too, like the wikilove thing. That make sense? — Isarra (talk) 21:57, 26 March 2012 (UTC)

Invitation to events in June and July: bot, script, template, and Gadget makers wanted
I invite you to the yearly Berlin hackathon. It's 1-3 June and registration is now open. If you need financial assistance or help with visa or hotel, just mention it in the registration form.
This is the premier event for the MediaWiki and Wikimedia technical community. We'll be hacking, designing, and socialising, primarily talking about ResourceLoader and Gadgets (extending functionality with JavaScript), the switch to Lua for templates, Wikidata, and Wikimedia Labs.
Our goals for the event are to bring 100-150 people together, including lots of people who have not attended such events before. User scripts, gadgets, API use, Toolserver, Wikimedia Labs, mobile, structured data, templates -- if you are into any of these things, we want you to come!
I also thought you might want to know about other upcoming events where you can learn more about MediaWiki customization and development, how to best use the web API for bots, and various upcoming features and changes. We'd love to have power users, bot maintainers and writers, and template makers at these events so we can all learn from each other and chat about what needs doing.
Check out the the developers' days preceding Wikimania in July in Washington, DC and our other events.
Best wishes! - Sumana Harihareswara, Wikimedia Foundation's Volunteer Development Coordinator. Please reply on my talk page, here or at mediawiki.org. Sumana Harihareswara, Wikimedia Foundation Volunteer Development Coordinator 15:02, 2 April 2012 (UTC)

Wooten Hooten Hooton
Hello-I noticed your speedy tag on File:EAHooten.png and assume it's because it is still spelled wrong. The man's name is spelled "Hooton" and ideally might be best resolved via a page move. Would this resolve the issue? Professor marginalia (talk) 23:20, 7 April 2012 (UTC)

Hey Isarra
(Ryn910 11:27, 8 May 2012 (UTC)) So, can I re-create the template Research Universities in the Philippines again? If so, Tnx a lot and GodSpeed Always! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryn910 (talk • contribs)
- While it was deleted as WP:G7 (author request), the template was also up for deletion, so I'm afraid it may be a little more complicated than just recreating it. You should probably talk to some of the folks who put it up for deletion in the first place and address their concerns before you do anything else with it, or chances are it will just wind up up for deletion again. -— Isarra ༆ 16:16, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
The Sparrows
Just so you know, the father of the founding member of the band 'The Sparrows' was a member of the military unit 'The Sparrows.' So, the nickname for the military unit obviously came before the band. I'm reverting back to my original alteration. If you have any comment, drop me a line. Cheers, User talk:Bofors40mm
- Right, sorry for not getting back to you about this at the time; thing is a little weird so my first instinct was to run away. Part of the issue was just the manner of the move - copy and paste moves hide the entire history of the article itself; when renaming/moving a page, you need to use the 'move' tab so it actually takes the history with it. While I would have just tried to fix it, I unfortunately couldn't seem to figure out what the correct title actually should be - according to the article, the name of the band is 'The Sparrow', not 'The Sparrows', and according to a quick search for reliable sources to say one way or the other, well, I couldn't find seem anything at all. Now I'm personally not very good at actually finding sources, but that can be a sign that a thing may not meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines, so perhaps the article shouldn't even exist in the first place, for all I know. If you have any sort of mentor or someone you can ask who might be more knowledgeable about such things, you should probably try asking them about this, though.
- As for the disambiguation itself, you don't need to make a disambiguation page when there are only two things, especially when they have completely different normal names, regardless of which might have come first. In this case, someone on the artillery page, for instance, probable won't have wound up there when searching for the band, though it might go the other way around - so only the band, with the more generic name, would probably need any disambiguation, and for that you can use a hatnote template to suggest the other. Hope that helps. -— Isarra ༆ 19:59, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

July 2012 Study of authors of health-related Wikipedia pages
Dear Author/Isarra
My name is Nuša Farič and I am a Health Psychology MSc student at the University College London (UCL). I am currently running a quantitative study entitled Who edits health-related Wikipedia pages and Why? I am interested in the editorial experience of people who edit health-related Wikipedia pages. I am interested to learn more about the authors of health-related pages on Wikipedia and what motivations they have for doing so. I am currently contacting the authors of randomly selected articles and I noticed that someone at this address edited an article on Forensic Facial Reconstruction. I would like to ask you a few questions about you and your experience of editing the above mentioned article and or other health-related articles. If you would like more information about the project, please visit my user page (http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Hydra_Rain) and if interested, please reply via my talk page or e-mail me on nusa.faric.11ucl.ac.uk. Also, others interested in the study may contact me! If I do not hear back from you I will not contact this account again. Thank you very much in advance. Hydra Rain (talk) 16:33, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
- I'm afraid that was a coincidence; I don't write articles. -— Isarra ༆ 05:12, 21 July 2012 (UTC)
Thanks For Staying Alert
Hi,
Thanks for staying alert and reverting changes of unknown user. You might got, about which matter I'm talking about.
Thanks Again — Preceding unsigned comment added by Devoutly (talk • contribs) 09:26, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for your work on this... unfortunately, having looked through the article, I've had to revert your additions as well as they do not adhere to a neutral point of view. Anything you could do to improve the article while keeping to that, however, would be very much appreciated, as such topics tend to attract considerable scrutiny from both fans and... whatever the opposite of fans are. -— Isarra ༆ 16:43, 22 July 2012 (UTC)
Request to see where I attacked a user
I contest the suggestion that I attacked anyone. I think you'll find my edit was measured, considering the previous editor insulted me by suggesting what I wrote as 'Rambling'.
Please by all means, highlight the offending section.
It occurs to me, you may be a bot as this 'warning' was curiously issued so rapidly.
Boundarylayer (talk) 16:43, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
- As I linked, it was this edit to which the warning was referring. Calling someone's attitude passive aggressive, questioning their understanding of reality, going on about how something is the other fellow's personal opinion and calling it all very bizarre, and referring to it as lies are not exactly conducive to a collaborative environment. Now I'll grant, 'attack' may not be entirely the right term, but your approach is needlessly confrontational and not apt to help matters when it comes to actually settling the dispute. Please, reconsider your wording. I'm not actually familiar with the dispute, but while it is clear that you do not agree with the other editor, maybe you can find some middle ground? -— Isarra ༆ 16:51, 28 July 2012 (UTC)
Userboxes
Can you please show me how to put userboxes like you did on my page?Receptie123 (talk) 12:56, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
- You already had the beginnings of it there, just had some things misformatted. You can see what all I changed by looking at the diff here, but basically the userboxes are all in a table, which each userbox in its own row/cell. Putting the |- between each line with a userbox fixed that so it rendered properly. Does that help? -— Isarra ༆ 18:55, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
